The Mayo Hotel

Nice clean spacious room. Only complaint was the restaurant wasn’t open due to remodeling. Secure parking requires a $30 per night valet fee. Otherwise you’re on the street.

Had a fantastic stay at The Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa. This is a gem of a hotel with incredibly comfortable, flawless rooms and wonderful, friendly service. Only minor issues were in The Penthouse bar, where they oddly didn't seem to have any silverware for eating the food they offered. Our food got cold during the long wait. However, the waitress was very apologetic and offered extra drinks on the house. Slightly disappointed that the lounge downstairs had been dismantled for a wedding, but understandable.

Bottom floor restaurant/bar closed long term. Rooftop bar closed three days a week so nothing was open while I was there except coffee shop. Disappointed. Recommend the rooftop bar & restaurant at the Brut Hotel which was open. Extra charge for late check-out despite not being close to full.

Beautiful hotel. Room was large and had a separate living area. Perfect for those who like to stay up late and the spouse wants to go to sleep! Enjoyed drinks at the bar in the early evening and then later went to rooftop bar which has stunning views.

What a beautiful place We flew in town for the Paul macartney show Your roof top bar was shut down when we got to the hotel Your 1925 bar had one bartender who was doing his best I went into the front desk room to ask why the upstairs bar was closed and the gentleman would not stop reading his magazine to even look up and acknowledge me The Mayo itself is an elegant old place

The Mayo.is a Tulsa legend. Such a beautiful hotel situated in downtown and about 3 blocks from the BOK Center. Staff were super friendly. Helped us find many local eateries within walking distance. No, this isnt a "continental breakfast " kind of hotel, but we stayed for the lavish experience a historical hotel brings. The Penthouse bar was very fun. Although drinks are we a little pricey, they were made well. Rooms were clean. Bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows. Great black out curtains. There is no free parking anywhere so plan on a 30 per overnight valet fee on your incidentals. All in all we had a wonderful stay and thank everyone at the Mayo for making is feel at home

Air conditioning was excellent. Bars onsite were very good. The room didn't have rocks glasses but should have.

I have stayed here approximately 6 times. At least 4 of those times the hotel booked the lobby and hotel bar for private events thus making those areas unavailable. The hotel is more of a venue location than hotel. I am done staying here. If you decide to stay here ask if there is an event going on at that time. If so Avoid. There are better options in the area.

Great historic hotel, rooftop bar is amazing

The parking situation was unbearable. Being forced to use valet parking and waiting in long lines is a deal-breaker. You must find a way to solve the parking problem. Too many homeless people to park on the street

Shower was crusty filthy. 30 dollars to vallet. They could not make a room key. Didnt act concerned. Nothing like haveing to wait on someone to gett you in your room .

The bathroom had mold in the shower. The water was hot at the beginning of my shower and quickly turned freezing. Then my hairdryer did not work. I asked for a new hairdryer it took about 30 minutes to get a hairdryer so I was late for what I came to town to do. The hotel did comp my valet for the evening hit that doesn’t seem like it was sufficient to what he experience.

Room was clean and excellent.

I know things happen, but when I checked in there was a used razor with a particular type of hairs all over it and a dirty towel hanging in the shower along with long hairs strewn about the bathroom including on the toilet seat. It was pretty gross. When I politely informed the front desk of the condition of my room I got an emotionless, “I’ll let engineering know.” The hotel is otherwise very nice. :/

The shower has mold growing in it. The overall bathroom is looking worn. Service everywhere was top notch. Very caring staff.

I was a little disappointed in the Mayo hotel. It has such a good reputation since it’s a beautiful historic site. If you go for the history and the experience of being in this iconic building you won’t be disappointed. But if you’re also expecting top of the line cleanliness and comfort you might be. The mattress we had was awful you could hear and feel springs any time you moved. The shower has mold in the calking around the tiles. The sheets had tiny stains on them as well as the bed skirt and some of the curtains. On the surface level everything was really nice but the more you looked around the attention to detail and cleanliness was not there.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly. The hotel was beautiful and clean.

Beautiful and historic hotel with great customer service. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I was on the third floor which did not provide a view. Even the windows were opaque which allowed natural light to flood in. It was fine since I was hardly in the room but people who do want a view might want to be aware of that. Speaking of view, I checked out the rooftop bar and wished I had gone up there earlier to catch the sunset which I’m sure is dazzling. I have a couple of points of critique. One is that the café that’s open for breakfast and lunch was fine but it would be nice if there was the option of eating one’s meal not out of a to-go box with plastic utensils. It may be that they don’t have a kitchen but there are better single-use products out there if you must use them. The other complaint, of which I’m not alone, is the gross and outdated shower. There was pink mildew on the shower head and black mildew in the corners and the grout. Plus, the water doesn’t drain and was standing when I came back to my room that evening. It wasn’t that the drain was clogged but that the surface is level so the water is not directed to the drain. I chose to wear my waterproof slippers while I showered. It’s a long narrow space with the shower head and two other sprayer directed out from the wall. I had trouble adjusting it to where I wasn’t getting hit in the face. A shower head and a wand are really all that’s needed!

Only negatives was wifi is terrible. Slow and doesn’t download at all. Shower head was not good. Other than that is was a nice historic hotel

TV was not working property. System is outdated

It was very loud at night. It’s very hard to get any sleep.

Gorgeous hotel in downtown Tulsa with large, clean and comfortable rooms!

Room512 was backed to garbage pick up area. So from 4am to 6am, it was constant loud noise and prevented me to sleep. Also my room did not have any desk or chair to be able to work. Parking is expensive and no upgrade or discount provided as VIP member. Hotel is very nice. The roof top is nice but nothing was going on. There was no live music as advertised.

Beautiful historic hotel. Suite was well designed and so comfortable! There weren’t easily accessible plugs on both sides of the bed which was annoying. The linens, pillows and mattress were amazing. Would have liked for them to have had tea bags available. Only offered 2 coffee Kcups with caffeine and 2 decaf.

The room was nice and large. Had amenities they we enjoyed like a mini fridge and microwave. The bed could have been better as it was a memory foam mattress and a standard pillow top would’ve been better. The staff was friendly and professional. Next time though we would request a room that is further from the elevator bank as they are kind of loud going up and down.

The rooms are great because they are so large and essentially an apartment. We love staying here for the convenience and space.

Unfortunately, as beautiful and historic as this hotel is, our stay was a disappointment to our expectation. Maybe it was an off weekend for the staff, but for us, it was a memory we wish had been different. We were not a part of the overwhelming wedding that was booked the same weekend, so we were not greeted or acknowledged. Our room was not ready until very late - and we were never called to notify of it’s readiness. This altered our entire schedule. Valet was nowhere to be found. We simply felt as if we were not valued.

Hotel is beautiful and iconic. Only complaint would be that I was charged for three days of valet parking at $30.00 per day and only had a rental car for one day, which means I only used valet one day. They said it was in the agreement when I checked in but I was never even asked if I was using valet parking. Ridiculous policy and should be revised immediately.

I have stayed at the Mayo a few times and the property and team never disappoint! As someone that lives at hotels, it is a pleasure to walk into a property where everyone is friendly, caring, and helpful! If you are planning a trip to Tulsa, then the Mayo is a must stay!

Staff especially the manager dis an exceptional job. Had an issue that he rectified immediately. Amazing hotel--will definitely stay here when in Tulsa.

The staff was very rude. We had to wait 20 minutes after check in for a room and the keys didn’t work to said room. We were there for a wedding so check in is already later in the day. I expected more for how nice/expensive the hotel is.

We loved the Historic Hotel in Downtown Tulsa. We enjoyed our stay. Very Clean and spacious room! However, we did not have the best experience with staff. We signed up for Valet for 1 night. We only wanted it for 1 night because we were drive a newer Porsche that we brought to Tulsa to sell at the Mecum Collector Car Auction. The first night was fie. However, they charged us $30 for the second night as well and will NOT issue the credit owed. We agree we wanted to pay the $30 for the first night. Not all the nights. They WILL NOT ISSUE THE CREDIT OWED!! BUYER BEWARE.....

My wife and I spent a night at the Mayo Hotel, just to get away and enjoy each others company. We loved the lobby of the hotel and all of the beautiful decor. Unfortunately we arrived about an hour early and our room wasnt ready yet. The woman at the front desk put our name on a list to be called when our room was clean. We watched one person after another get their room keys. At 4pm (the hotels checkin time) i went back up to the desk and asked what was going on with my room. The woman said that our room had been ready for awhile. I asked why she didnt call us like she said she would. She rolled her eyes, handed me my room key and turned away. Other than the poor service at the desk, the hotel was fantastic. The room was wonderful

The staff were all amazing, but I do have to say that Dimitri went above and beyond. I will definitely be staying here the next time that I'm in Tulsa.

The property was lovely and a close walk to the BOK center. The staff were friendly. The downtown area has become rundown and there are a lot of homeless on the streets and sidewalks. Sad to see.

Had some business early morning in Tulsa so decided to stay the night before. This hotel is fantastic! Awesome location and the architecture is absolutely amazing. I will be coming back here with my lady for a weekend getaway real soon!

If you're staying downtown, the Mayo Hotel is great! The property is clean, the rooms are nice, the beds super comfy, there is a rooftop bar that is great! However, downtown is loud with sirens and trains going all night and there are a lot of homeless people on the streets, FYI.

Beautiful Art Deco hotel that's close to the Blue Dome District & Cain's Ballroom. Great, welcoming staff. My favorite place to stay in Tulsa!

We had a great time at the Mayo. The suite had plenty of room with a nice living area, spacious bathroom, and a comfy bed. I really enjoyed the historical photos and unique architecture of this beautiful hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel downtown. Very spacious suites almost felt like an apartment. Super clean rooms and the staff was on their A game anytime you needed anything at all. Would be nice to have a sit down restaurant (the on site one was closed down) but we ordered full room service and the food was great.

Neither the Penthouse or the Mark seemed to know what to do with the credit we were given from the hotel front desk. The Penthouse wouldn't accept it at all, the Mark took it but didn't apply it. We were way over charged for the 3 beverages we had. $107 is steep for 3 cocktails. Pretty certain other people's drinks had to have been put on our tab without our consent.

The hotel is beautiful, especially the lobby is breathtaking. My room was spacious in very nice. The bed was super comfy. Valet service went very well. I got a $14 voucher but they didn't accept it at the rooftop bar, so I used it at The Mark for breakfast, which was not very good (microwaved muffin sandwich). All in all my stay was very enjoyable.

Great historic property. Not having a full service resturant was a big negative. The coffee shop and room service were sub par.
