We only stayed there for the pool with a baseball team of kids. Pool wasn’t open due to no lifeguard. I’ve never seen a lifeguard at a hotel pool.

Walking into a clean spacious room made the stay excellent. Mini kitchen(no oven, stove top), microwave, tall fridge/freezer all utensils included including dish soap and sponge. I enjoyed the pool, However it was extremely cold. I think that needs to be adjusted, especially when you have toddlers. The breakfast was good, Bacon, eggs, waffles etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend!

Nice property & amazing polite staff. 4 stars because I checked in on a Sunday for my sons birthday at check in time which is 3pm and the pool was closed. I do not think that is fair if you are only staying until check out the next morning. Then the following day on Monday the pool did not open until 5pm in the evening. I did not see this information listed anywhere and caused me a big inconvenience. I stood for two nights and only had approximately 4hrs pool time.

It’s located in a good place in Yonkers NY. Free parking was available. The rooms are clean and comfy. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back on my next trip to NY. The only reason I gave it a 4 Stars and not a 5 Stars was because the indoor pool area was cold and the pool water was cold. Had the pool been warm, I would’ve given them 5 stars.

Everything was almost perfect for my stay. Breakfast was good, the gym was nice and the fire pit area was a nice place to sit and unwind at the end of the day. The only thing is the pool is still not ready to be used. We have been using this hotel for about the last 6 months consistantly and the pool has been closed. With the summer approaching this is one commodity i wish was working as we (my family and friends we recommend to stay at the property) look forward to spending time at the pool.

The property was very nice, clean and staff was friendly and professional. The only thing I did not like was the whirlpool was inoperable and there pool hours were not so good due to previous guests. This information wasn’t disclose upon my booking. Overall things were very nice.

Overall the stay was okay. A little out the way for me but still accessible to a highway. Parking lot was crowded over the weekend. One morning they ran out of syrup for the waffles but other than that the breakfast was okay. The staff were friendly and helpful. One thing I did find super inconvenient was that I had to leave my drivers license at the front desk to gain access to the pool. I’m assuming they may have had issues in the past with pool access but if I am staying at the hotel and you have my personal info I should be able to access with my room key. Also the pool availability especially for an indoor pool in the summer was ridiculous; 12-5 on a weekday is not long enough. I was out for most of the day so by the time I got a chance to go I was being told I had to leave. Also walking back into the main lobby in my wet bathing suit to get back my drivers license wasn’t ideal. I can say that the cleaning staff is phenomenal there and the rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. As far as amenities I wouldn’t use that as my deciding factor in staying here.

The stay was very good. Our room was very clean, you could walk around with white socks on and they stayed white. They only got 4 stars because the dog smell permeated the room. The hallways smelled of dog, not sure if they let dogs on every floor or if we ended up on the dog floor. I don’t have a problem with people traveling with their pets but think they should be in a block of pet rooms or pets on separate floors.

My family always stay at this property every year around this time for convention for church and this year in our room one of the night stand was full full of ants and they where getting on the bed I gave a complaint to the front desk they said they will change my room but I was in and out from the hotel because o was there for convention so I told them that I will be back around 6-7 and they said it was fine I get back and they couldn’t change my room around 12:30 - 1 am in the morning I went to the front desk because my coffee makers wasn’t working so at the time the front desk help told that the room I was in 303 was out of order so at that time by 2 am they decided to change my room after my family was sleeping I had to wake them up so move to a different room

I stayed at the hotel. It was nice and clean in the room for the most part, but however, the heat was not working. The engineering came upstairs and he tried to work on the heat. It still was not working. He told me he was gonna tell the manager, but never told them that the heat wasn’t working. We were literally freezing in the room so I had called Downstairs to the office at 11 something at night when they change shift and ask them did engineering. Tell them anything about my room. They told me no but they did offer me a room change at 11 something at night I would like conversation for the inconvenience.

The room is like a studio apartment. Big fridge with freezer, microwave, and stove. They also provide plates bowls cups and utensils. They are also pet friendly at an extra cost. Staff is great and pool is nice. The area is nice with the highway nearby. Ridge hill and cross county shopping centers are also nearby.

The rooms could be updated. I was put in a room which I didn't like but had to be relocated the next day because the hotel was sold out. The first room had a dented fridge door, scratched furniture in the living room, and tape on the headboard, which was wierd. The second room was in better shape, but the fridge was also dented. However, both rooms were immaculately clean, as was the public areas. The public areas were updated and modern. There were lots of seating areas for breakfast. The breakfast was good and had a variety options, although they really need a third person to keep up with bringing more plates, refilling the coffee carafes, bringing food out. One day the juice machine was out of order. The next day there was something wrong with the water pipes so the coffee could not be filled until that was fixed. Despite all of this, the best thing about this hotel was the fantastic staff--from the front desk to the housekeeping department to the breakfast staff. They had great attitudes, were very friendly, and did all they could to meet our needs. The customer service was top-notch.

The room is definitely a LOT smaller than they state on Expedia. I was told i can upgrade if my room was too small when I arrive. I arrived and was told they were sold out for the full three nights I was staying. Very disappointed because I called prior to my visit and was told yes the room is a good size and it was 750sq ft. Yeah more like 400 sq ft. Bathroom needs a really good cleaning cause its black around the shower. The sink is for kids had a hard time brushing my teeth. The kitchen only has two burners and one was not working so I could only use the small one. No oven and the dishwasher was soo old and out of its place. The kitchen is tiny!!! Two people cannot fit in it. Overall for the money this place was not worth it!. Only good things were the friendly staff and the lobby being soo pretty as well as the pool hours. What is written in Expedia for hotel rooms is incorrect so if you have two adults and two children your screwed for having any room.

Everything was ok till it’s time to take a shower, called twice for a body wash as the container is empty, its 10:15 and item not delivered, got to use the shampoo as body wash then after shampooing my hair there’s no conditioner. What the hell!!! So frustrating! Paid $293 but the very basics can’t provide it!
Everything was ok till it’s time to take a shower, called twice for a body wash as the container is empty, its 10:15 and item not delivered, got to use the shampoo as body wash then after shampooing my hair there’s no conditioner. What the hell!!! So frustrating! Paid $293 but the very basics can’t provide it!

This place is a gem. Had a long travel day was greeted by front desk staff Jessica. She was so professional and accommodating. Even let us check in alittle early. The room was perfect and very clean. Housekeeping was efficient and so friendly. The breakfast was good!

This is the second bad experience I've had at what should be a great property. When I arrived, the computers glitched. The front desk person could not fix the situation. It took over an hour to simply check in. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One shower did not work at all. The other had limited hot water at best. The room does not go over 72 degrees. I asked for someone to fix that. No one ever came. I asked again (three hours later), was promised "they're on their way." No one ever showed. This property is tucked away in a business park, and is perfectly situated for maximum convenience. Unfortunately, the lack of qualified service and service-when-needed has killed the experience. And it wasn't an isolated experience. I stayed here a week earlier, and it was also a mess. Just for the record, I wrote all this to the manager in a survey sent directly from the hotel, and even said "I'm not posting this publicly," as perhaps all this person needed was to know what was going on so it could be addressed. He never even gave the courtesy of a response. So I have no problem sharing the experience now, since they had a chance to correct course, and obviously don't care enough to do so.

The microwave in my room didn't work, the tv in the living area didn't work, the ac in the bedroom was so weak the ac had to be put on the lowest setting just to cool off the room which left the living area (where the ac worked fine) unbearably cold. My family always stay at this property every year around this time for convention for church and this year in our room one of the night stand was full full of ants and they where getting on the bed I gave a complaint to the front desk they said they will change my room but I was in and out from the hotel because o was there for convention so I told them that I will be back around 6-7 and they said it was fine I get back and they couldn’t change my room around 12:30 - 1 am in the morning I went to the front desk because my coffee makers wasn’t working so at the time the front desk help told that the room I was in 303 was out of order so at that time by 2 am they decided to change my room after my family was sleeping I had to wake them up so move to a different room

I didn't appreciate being assigned a room that wasn't cleaned prior. Also, the fireplace didn't work. I contacted the front desk, maintenance came up and basically said it was beyond his ability to fix and someone else would be there the next day to fix it. I was there six days, never happened. Residence Inn is usually my go-to hotel, but service like this will make me look elsewhere. The rooms weren't cleaned the same daily. From person to person, they do what they want. No consistency. They were very apologetic and that's it. They never offered to make good on the errors. If booking through a third party makes guests seem not as important, then I'll think twice about that as well. These rooms cost too much to only get apologized to. Either handle your business or offer some type of credit.

Reservation was not reserve, rooms were sold out and we had no were to go at 1am in the morning. The clerk had to call the other property manager to get us a room. Thanks God they were next door to each other.

The residence inn is, in all respects, just lovely, with particularly great staff I found. The only drawback, and it’s reflected in the reasonable price, is that it’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere: for example, commuter railroad is a good 30 minute walk, as is nearest supermarket. So, it only really works if you’ve rented a car.

Walking into a clean spacious room made the stay excellent. Mini kitchen(no oven, stove top), microwave, tall fridge/freezer all utensils included including dish soap and sponge. I enjoyed the pool, However it was extremely cold. I think that needs to be adjusted, especially when you have toddlers. The breakfast was good, Bacon, eggs, waffles etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend!

The rooms could be updated. I was put in a room which I didn't like but had to be relocated the next day because the hotel was sold out. The first room had a dented fridge door, scratched furniture in the living room, and tape on the headboard, which was wierd. The second room was in better shape, but the fridge was also dented. However, both rooms were immaculately clean, as was the public areas. The public areas were updated and modern. There were lots of seating areas for breakfast. The breakfast was good and had a variety options, although they really need a third person to keep up with bringing more plates, refilling the coffee carafes, bringing food out. One day the juice machine was out of order. The next day there was something wrong with the water pipes so the coffee could not be filled until that was fixed. Despite all of this, the best thing about this hotel was the fantastic staff--from the front desk to the housekeeping department to the breakfast staff. They had great attitudes, were very friendly, and did all they could to meet our needs. The customer service was top-notch.

Overall the stay was okay. A little out the way for me but still accessible to a highway. Parking lot was crowded over the weekend. One morning they ran out of syrup for the waffles but other than that the breakfast was okay. The staff were friendly and helpful. One thing I did find super inconvenient was that I had to leave my drivers license at the front desk to gain access to the pool. I’m assuming they may have had issues in the past with pool access but if I am staying at the hotel and you have my personal info I should be able to access with my room key. Also the pool availability especially for an indoor pool in the summer was ridiculous; 12-5 on a weekday is not long enough. I was out for most of the day so by the time I got a chance to go I was being told I had to leave. Also walking back into the main lobby in my wet bathing suit to get back my drivers license wasn’t ideal. I can say that the cleaning staff is phenomenal there and the rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. As far as amenities I wouldn’t use that as my deciding factor in staying here.

Elevators are very slow. Rest is great. Close to a trail near Hudson. Very nice walk even if it is sunny outside. Shaded by trees. Food mart in a small town near this trail (30 min walk) is also good for small shopping.
