We booked this hotel through Expedia because we saw a picture of a pool. Turns out, that was a complete lie. We packed our bags, excited for a day by the pool, only to discover there was absolutely none. When we checked in, we asked the girl at the front desk when the pool would be open. Her response? "We don’t have a pool." What a massive letdown! And looking at other reviews, it’s clear we’re not the only ones who were misled about the pool. One guest even pointed out the pool issue, but it took a whole month for the hotel to respond and remove that misleading information. Unbelievable! It is still up online. Parking: I inquired about parking, and the front desk informed me it costs 31 dollars, stating I could "pay at the garage or at the hotel." So, I headed to the garage only to find out that all-day parking was just 22 dollars. Seriously, where they pulled that 31-dollar figure from is beyond me! I mentioned that there are other parking garages just a block away that are free on weekends, and her response was, "I don’t know, I just know about the hotel." Unbelievable! Right across the street, there’s public parking available for 1.75 an hour from Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 10 PM, which means it’s FREE after 10 PM and completely free all day Sunday, just a block away Pro: • Check in was seamless • Staff were friendly Con: • The staff were dressed unprofessionally, sporting flip-flops and durags or skull caps, with nose piercings. This hotel is in the fabulous Bethesda neighborhood, next to parking garage and near Bethesda metro - red line. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy trip into DC. They charge for breakfast but there are many places in to eat in the neighborhood. Also close to a Trader Joe's. Hotel also has a very nice gym. Have stayed here before to visit DC. Extremely clean, comfortable and convenient.

Nice hotel but ridiculous prices for parking 27.50 for parking and I thought when I booked the room breakfast was included but it wasn’t included and that was an additional 16.00 dollars which I declined due to wanting to get on the road and the bed wasn’t comfortable at all sorry but it wasn’t

Location was excellent, had an appointment at Walter Reed in the morning and it was a 10 minutes straight shot with minimum traffic. Parking garage clearance entrance is 6'3" , truck barely made it.

The property was very clean and modern looking. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed in was the hotel bar wasn't open and looks like won't be open anytime soon. I love a good hotel bar.

This hotel was ok. The rooms were a bit outdated which would be ok if they were cleaner. Sheets seemed clean but old (lots of fabric snags all over the comforters), most of the pillows didn't really hold their shape anymore and the shower had mold around the tub and rusty towel racks. We also had a family of 4 in our room but only received 3 towels. When asking for another towel, the woman at the desk wasn't very pleasant and slightly rude. Someone finally came with extra towels 30 min later.

I ended up checking out early because my room smelled so bad and the bathroom was extremely dirty. The staff were gracious and offered a refund but the cleanliness being so bad is why I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

I love the location! It is literally a 2-3 minute walk to the Metro. There are two entrances to the Metro one is a much longer walk than the other so make sure you get the elevator at the Metro and come out of that entrance and that’s the one that’s closest to the hotel. As for the hotel, it was extremely clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to store my luggage there when I checked out and check out was at 12, which was brilliant as it gave me time in the morning to have breakfast and relax a bit. Everything was great. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I had a great sleep while I was there.. The only complaint that I would have is that the rooms are fairly dark. There is not enough lighting. Other than that, I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely recommend it and stay there again. Lots of shops nearby. There’s a really cool area that is in walking distance, that has lots of shops and restaurants so make sure you check the area out and walk around as it is a bit of a hidden gem.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean. I loved the scent of the shampoo, conditioner and lotion. One thing I did notice was a smell of perhaps a vent in need of cleaning or perhaps similar to when something was in storage too long. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Late check in , had some reservation problems on our end, but Erica at the front desk was extremely helpful and all went well. Only issue we had was the air conditioner BANGED when it came on an off, making sleep harder than it should be. Erica texted me on our 2nd day and addressed the issue ASAP. Hotel has the hottest water in the shower .. ever, what a joy !! Location was great. Breakfast was OK, but not worth $16, as it is the same that is served at other locations for free. Hotel has a parking garage with companionable pricing for the area. Again, the staff was fantastic and helpful, especially Erica ... She is a keeper a and a great asset for this hotel !

The location is great but the hotel needs a refresh and not just in the lobby. The rooms were adequate but very tired. Bed was nice enough, shower tub looked a little worn… not HGI’s best effort TBH. I wouldn’t stay there again although go by the staff was perfectly nice and attentive. They can’t help it if the property is worn out!

The staff was terrible, house keeping entered my room even tho I explicitly said no house keeping on checkin and had the do not disturb sign up. They proceeded to take all the linens and trash bags out of the room and not replace. They also took my toiletries. When I called the front desk to explain my issue I got hung up on. When I went to the front desk and asked to speak with the manager I was told “the person who is supposed to be in charge quit and the person who is currently in charge shouldn’t be” the staff working the desk did nothing to help me but take down my information and said they would give it to the GM

This was a great area to stay for our DC trip. Was close to the Metro so we could just ride right into the city. There was some great food stops in the area. Tatte was great for breakfast as the hotel breakfast was mediocre. Hotel was clean which is our main feature when booking. Would stay again. Staff was quite friendly

The breakfast staff was not friendly and for the price of the breakfast it was not good for our 3 night stay they didn't have bacon and we asked and the staff was upset only for us to ask for bacon or even more eggs but they were so rude and not accommodating and like I stated the breakfast was not good at all for the price they charge for the buffet. Now the front desk was amazing. When we told them what happened with the breakfast staff they were so nice and even gave us points for our next visit because we couldn't even get our last day breakfast because they run out of everything by 9 am.

Overall great hotel. The breakfast was awful in terms of the quality of the food and they charge for it. We have gotten better quality breakfasts for free in other hotels like Wyndham. I would avoid their breakfasts and eat out. It’s not convenient but it will taste better and be healthier.

Daniel was at the desk and very friendly; However, we were not told of the new dining or if there was a continental breakfast. The dinner was good there. During breakfast, there were dirty dishes all over the tables and the counters and it was not busy as all. Not a great value for breakfast and the selections were that of a typical continental breakfast and way to expensive.
