Leslie Hotel Ocean Drive

We enjoyed our spring break stay so much! We parked our car overnight in the public garage on 13th. Our teenagers enjoyed the Leslie's beach chairs and rooftop pool every day.

The only issue we had was the pool needed to have some sort of bar service and music playing- that was the only issue i had.

Across from the beach with hot tub and pool too. Center of downtown. Walking to many other places. Off beach bike bath and rental place is a few blocks away. Great place.

I enjoyed my stay at the Leslie Hotel. It has a good location on ocean drive. I was a little worried about the parking situation but it was convenient and easy to park in the city run garages near by(Hotel staff provided a map). The hotel provided chairs for the beach. The room was nice with normal amenities. Only complaint was there was no chair in the room, only a stool but given the space it is hard to complain. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant is comparable to other restaurants in the area.

Very nice hotel with great breakfast included (some selection from menu card). Rooms very beautiful with a good bed and great pillows. Hotel is located very good directly to the beach were you get parasol and towels for the beach. Good restaurant with wide selection for lunch and evening and good discounts when you live at the hotel. Good heated pool on top floor. No bar at the pool. High service at the front desk. High recommendations from us.

This property noted local parking is available at $20 per day. This property then offered two parking decks and we checked in our vehicle. Less than 18 hours later, we checked out of the parking deck and found our parking bill was $160.00 (one hundred and sixty dollars). Their was a man at the gate waiting for this as it was clear they had this issue before. He offered us a “deal” by taking $30 off the total bill and making it $130. Interestingly enough, the valet service charged $40 a day in the same parking deck. This is unethical and be aware if you come here.

Love the rooftop pool area. Very relaxing

Beach was across the street. Pool and hot tub on roof were nice with beach view. Very friendly staff. Hotel provided beach chairs, umbrella, towels. No parking available, paid parking lot was very close.

For the price point, this was a nice hotel. The location is awesome across from the beach and many restaurants to walk to. The gym is small but adequate. The hot tub wasn't in service, and we spent no time at the pool area. The walls are thin, and we could hear anyone walking down the hall but it wasn't a frequency occurrence. No noise that I noticed at night and we slept well. Staff was very nice and very accommodating.

I have to be honest I was hoping for more. The hotel itself was overpowered with the smell of air freshener I think to hide the mold smell that promptly hit our nose when we entered the rooms. They must know because there were what looked like air purifiers in the basement workout facility, which was nothing to brag about and again couldn’t really stand the smell. Another issue, I paid an extra $49 per day for free breakfast, and this did not include most of the delicious breakfast items on the menu! I had to pay extra for those.. I mean it would have been cheaper for me just to buy breakfast every morning. The staff was trying, but my husband said that the lady at the front desk was rude to him. I will definitely opt for a hotel without the smell of mildew next time, I left feeling dissatisfied and definitely that I didn’t get my $1500 worth for our 3 day stay. I prepaid so there was nothing I could do about it. I think 8.8 stars was very misleading

The smell in the lobby, halls and especially the elevator was foul.

The hotel smelled like mildew and bleach. The room and bathroom were poorly lit. We were put in a room with a bathroom with dark gray walls and no window. The phone was broken. The main room had drapes all around most of it to cover windows. The pool area was in disrepair. There was a yellow warning tape blocking it. The hot tub was broken. The pace is horrible and itt was expensive due to Art Miami. Do not stay there unless you have to!

Fantastic location, particularly for the price. All staff members were super friendly. Room was clean but average!

I love everything about this hotel and the staff were great the only complaint was I seen a huge roach in shower other then that excellent

Room and bathroom was clean

Access to amenities prior to checkin but strict checkin policy. Pool was warm and clean. Towels and chairs available for the beach. Room was very clean, but the tiled shower was full of mold and the overhead didn’t work. Our room was near the entry door and we heard it slam when someone came through. Overall okay but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean and modern rooms.

The basement and elevator smelled like urine! Other than that stay was great.

The hotel was in a prime location right on Ocean Drive. However, being where all the action is also has a downside - "noise". The hotel backs up to an alley which is also quite noisy. Our room was the last room right next to the alley so if you stay at this hotel ask for a room that's in between other rooms so you have a buffer from the noise. Also, there are very few electrical outlets and no USB ports.

This hotel is nice and cozy. It is in a good location, but you should bring ear plugs because the street out front seems to be where everyone wants to show off their car stereos until around 2-3am. That’s on a Sunday, so not sure how Fri/Sat are. All in all, the bed was comfortable and the room was nice.

The view from a standard room is quite poor and overall, the pool area could use an upgrade. However, the staff was very good - courteous and welcoming. Beach chairs and umbrellas were in good shape and the convenient walk to the beach was excellent.

The staff was very friendly and helpful! Our room was very clean and had a huge bathroom and nice windows with views of the ocean and park. They kept our luggage after we checked out and let us use the pool and other facilities the rest of the day. My husband and I had a very relaxing time during our stay!

We enjoyed a lot of this hotel but the few improvements could be: double glazing as we were loudly woken up early in the morning on most days, the room’s amenities were awkwardly laid out, e.g. no plug ports spare at the bedside as they were all used up and there was a small desktop ironing board but you couldn’t plug it in as there was only one plug socket by the basin and no space to put it there. However, the staff were very helpful and especially the bellboy who did everything. Also, the location and quality of the hotel were great. It’s just a few very small things which were not ideal but otherwise a lovely hotel.

Where do I begin?! I must say that the customer experience at the Lesley Hotel was Exceptional! Patricia, AJ and Edin were absolutely fantastic. They made me feel extremely welcomed at check in and throughout my stay. What an amazing staff. PS. I still have the roses Edin gave me for my Birthday. Thank you Daniel for assisting me with my bags. This is now my go to hotel whenever I’m visiting Miami. Wonderful stuff. Job well done.

Poor service and attention to detail. I booked the Leslie Hotel on Ocean Drive South Beach because of the positive reviews I read of it online. This was our first trip back to SB in nearly 20 years and the experience at the Leslie diminished our enjoyment in SB. The check in process was the only positive thing about the whole experience. This is a historic property so we didn’t expect a large space. The space was adequate, however, here are some of the disappointments: - No Kleenex or similar tissues were provided. - No body/hand lotion provided. - We requested an iron and ironing board. The ironing board legs wouldn’t stay up to be useful. We had dinner with friends and our clothes were wrinkled because it was difficult to iron clothes without using the ironing board. - There’s a glass wall the separates the bathroom from the bedroom. There are no curtains on the bathroom windows or glass wall so the room is extremely bright due to the streetlights. It was difficult to fall asleep. - We came back to the room at 4 pm on the second day and housekeeper didn’t show up to clean the room and change the towels. When we enquired at the front desk, they told us that housekeeping had left for the day. - The bathroom dimly light and not appropriate for shaving and applying makeup. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this property for its poor quality of service. There are many other properties in SB at similar price point that would provide an enjoyable experience.

Terrible experience won't stay here again.. They told me I had to park in garage at 12 st. It was full.. so I had to go to 16 st. And park.. After checking in...we start walking and next hotel down they have valet parking. And I ask your front desk and they told me no valet. And the lady was very rude at front desk.. also we get a room right next to elevator noise all night long cuz everyone knows everyone talks in front of elevators. LoL. So we check out .. To many nice places to be treated like that..

Really average service, reception staff not helpful

We originally had a smaller room with a very small closet but were moved to a bigger room that had a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel manager Patricia was hands down amazing. She had quick customer service recovery and ensured our satisfaction.

The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of South Beach. We used the chairs, towels and the umbrella provided by the hotel for the beach. This was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Looking for a retreat from the ever-present dance party on Ocean Drive? The Leslie is a peaceful oasis while still in the heart of the action just steps from the beach. The rooftop pool and hot tub were an absolute gem, with great views of the ocean. Even with the late-night street vibe, our room was totally quiet. Staff let us check in early and held our luggage all day when we checked out and let us use the rooftop pool all day before our late-night flight home. I will definitely stay there again!

Right in the heart of south beach area.

Great location. Easy to go out on to South Beach shops and the beach itself. Staff very helpful. The room was at the back so nice and quiet. Overall a good base to go out and explore.

We had so much fun in Miami and really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Leslie. Hotel is located on the northern end of the South Beach “strip” so you are super close to all the action but just far enough that it isn’t thumping music all night long. Across the street is a playground and an awesome park that runs all the way up and down the beach. You can rent bikes cheaply and easily and bike south to the lighthouse or north all the way to bar harbor. Just past the park is the free public beach with lifeguards, snack shacks and people selling drinks from their portable coolers. The hotel will provide you with beach towels, chairs and an umbrella if needed. The hotel building is a super charming Art Deco building from the 1920’s with a lovely cafe out front. Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and stays open late (about midnight or so). Staff of hotel and cafe are super nice and accommodating. The rooftop pool is beautiful with an amazing view of the beach and has shaded couches and tables/chairs for relaxing. The room was on the small side but that is normal for these older buildings. The decor was glam chic and the beds were very comfortable. Towels and linens were very high quality. My only suggestions for improvement would be: a dresser instead of the table (there is a closet with shelves), usb outlets, and the ability to order food and drinks from the restaurant at the pool.

Good location, excellent breakfast, nice jacuzzi and swimming pool, convenient gym room. We had a great winter getaway in Leslie hotel and Miami Beach.

Hotel was ok. Nothing to complain about. Decent hotel with excellent location. Pool on the roof. Let us borrow chairs and umbrella for the beach. Restaurant was delicious.

Great location- across from park easy walk to the beach. Hotel has chairs and umbrellas. Roof top pool is relaxing. Very easy to walk up and down the strip. City has good control measures for the car traffic. Food was good at the hotel. Drinks were average- they need to work on the drink service. Very friendly staff. Can’t go wrong with this selection for South Beach

The Leslie Hotel was very comfortable and clean. The room was beautifully decorated with a great view of the ocean. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and two rain-type showers. The hotel's restaurant was reasonable and had a great selection for breakfast and dinner. It is located in a convenient spot on Ocean Drive. Highly recommend!

The staff at the front desk was amazing. The restaurant has great food and service. The location could not be beat- right on Ocean Ave and right across from the famous white sands of Miami Beach. The only improvement to make: The bathroom, while stylish, was quite dimly lit. Hard to see to shave and I couldn't imagine someone trying to put on makeup in the low light.

The rooms are adequate especially for the price. The location was premium and the restaurant food was incredible.

Lovely boutique hotel right on Ocean Drive. Food and service were outstanding! Reasonably priced. Parking garage around the corner on 13th. Would definitely stay there again.
