Hotel is very aged. Rooms and halls are very hot and stuffy. Room had a lot of dust on many things. The shower had a big rust hole which resulted in the room below me leaking and maintenance having to come in my room mid stay. Pool is nice but was very cloudy and muggy. Bad area is nice.

The pool had a lot of dirt, debris, and garbage at the bottom. I can overlook the dirt and debris because it’s a rooftop bar, but all the plastic cups from the drinking and fake eyelashes were excessive.

The room was amazing, the hotel, had an amazing view of El Paso. Liked the pool area that had an area that someone could grab drinks and relax. It was a great experience for myself. Just wish the AC was easier to use, my room was set at 64, and when attempted to change the temp, the AC wouldn’t work.

The hotel staff was great. But we had zero AC in our room, it was so hot, and they did not fix it while we stayed. It was miserable. I asked for a discount, considering we barely slept due to the heat. But they never responded to my multiple requests. The hotel staff was amazing, and if the AC had worked, it would have been a 5-star experience. However, not having air conditioning in your room in Texas is not a good experience.

The hotel is very pretty. The area appears safe, though I didn’t walk around much. I was traveling alone and needed to sleep for business purposes between 10 pm and 6 am. I was situated two rooms from the elevators. I could hear shuttling through the walls. People slammed doors all night. Walls were thin on the 11th floor. I was woken every 30 minutes until 1 am when the DJ at the pool deck finally shut down the party and everyone came up to their rooms laughing and slammed their doors. I understand the DJ is a common thing every weekend. I stayed Saturday and Sunday. The service, ambiance, cleanliness and amenities were nice. The situation with it being a party hotel on the weekend is not great - especially with thin walls.

Fire alarm went off at midnight, no explanation. Had to spend an hour in the cold and elevators were out and had to walk 9 flights up the stairs for a day including that night. Super inconvenient. Hotel never brought towels when asked. Bar tender was super rude at hotel bar and never spoke to us. Waitress even tried charging a drink the next night when we went to the restaurant. Super bummer, used to always stay here over the last years and it looks like the plaza will be where we stay during the holidays now.

Front desk staff was terrible! Checked in and the man at the front desk never stopped texting on his phone to answer my questions. Went back to ask about their NYE event and he just told me to look it up online. Find out the next morning that they were hosting a brunch buffet which I also wouldn’t have know about if I hadn’t gone downstairs to get coffee since there was a couple screaming and fighting on my floor which by the way was not stopped by hotel security who only knocked and didn’t attempt to talk to the girl in said couple.

Concierge was very welcoming right from the start, everyone else was just as friendly and helpful if we needed anything. We will definitely be back and would recommend Indigo for anyone staying in El Paso.

Sheets were not clean. Front desk staff do not consistently answer the phone. Gym equipment is subpar. At check-in I was told that the hotel had system issues and guest were unable to obtain room kesy. I had to wait an extended period of time to be able to check into my room because of “system issues”. Valet service is the worst I have ever experienced. Morning valet employee did not answer phone the entire stay. I had to wait to get car in the mornings because valet employee would not answer the phone for guest to request that their car be available when they got downstairs-this delayed my work arrival daily.

Overall the Hotel Indigo was a great experience. For our first time to El Paso it provided at GREAT location to access downtown, the baseball game, and many restaurants within walking distance. The valet service was fast and attentive so there was very little wait. The Indigo staff was overall good. William was the front desk attendant and was attentive to several questions I had including local food options (they were perfect suggestions to!) The rooms were easy to get to and the security features with the room cards were nice as well. There were a couple of issues that were disappointing. The AC in our room did not keep the room cold and in fact was more humid than cold. We told the staff but there attempt to fix did not do much. The ceiling above the shower looked to be patched but the paint and the area was not well finished and looked pretty rough. In the men's restroom in the lobby there appeared to be some patch work done behind a large portion of the wall in the stall. It was not painted or attended to so it looked pretty rough. All in all I liked my stay at the Indigo and would return! The fixes and attention to detail would only make it that much better!

The Hotel Indigo is right downtown El Paso. It is on the trolley line between downtown and the university a couple miles north. Downtown El Paso is in the early stages of renovation with some new apartment buildings beginning to appear. Right now, however, there is more going on in the suburbs. The outdoor pool on the fifth floor is delightful, Front desk staff were helpful.

Late day arrival....passing thru. Easy checkin....room was very nice....and open aired bar was a nice suprise. Only downfall for us personally, was the very limited menu of the restaurant.
