They had absolutely No parking, had to find parking 6 blocks away, such a hassle. Had to keep moving and paying 😡. Wouldn’t stay there again because of the parking issues

It was a very nice place to stay the rooms are small yet your only there to sleep. . Wish they would have had coffee pots. If you stay here make sure you pay for parking 20 a night they only have 8 spots. Nice views from the third floor.

There were some surprises, especially when it’s so highly rated on hotels.com. It makes it hard to trust reviews. First, the description clearly states “parking available.” But we arrived to find only 8 parking spots, all of which were taken, and then we were told that people book them in advance. We never had that option and were completely unaware. So late at night, we had to find street parking in an unfamiliar town, and walk in the dark with our luggage in an area that didn’t feel safe. When we finally found the place (no signage which was weird) and got inside, we found the check in desk in the middle of a hallway, only a few feet from what turned out to be our room. Nobody was there, so waited in the hallway with our stuff for quite a while until we decided to call, and the guy came from a back room super close by… it would have been great to have a bell or something instead of a sign saying to wait 30 mins and then call. The “hotel” felt more like a “motel” - small and poorly updated. The A/C box was dripping a weird dark liquid on the shutters. It wasn’t what we expected for the price, and the surrounding area wasn’t very nice either. It was a disappointing experience.

This was a really quaint boutique hotel with a location that can’t be beat! The room wasn’t the cleanest and the towels were really small but worth it for the view from the room and the proximity to the beach. Parking was available at an additional fee and was worth it for us with our rental car— right in front of the hotel entrance. Would definitely stay here again. Nice place to sit on the roof and fire pit outside overlooking the beach. Walkable to Starbucks! Hotel has a microwave and a water/ice machine on the second floor.

The hotel was nice, small and quiet. Right by the beach, had a nice outdoor area. Rooms are not fancy but clean and comfortable. Only frustration I had was the Wi-Fi was very unreliable, and the 5G that was great outside, was not available inside.

This is right on the beach which we absolutely loved. Easy to walk to so many things on venice beach. Rooms were clean. Parking is tight but convenient. Our favorite part was the staff - especially Noel! All of them were so friendly and helpful.

BEWARE OF Bedbugs, check your mattress especially if you are in room #4. We checked and were appalled to see the foot of the mattress was covered in blood splatters and it looked like someone had urinated on the main part of the mattress. The staff was very kind and the clerk seemed as appalled as we were at the mattress, and quickly put us up in the suite (that mattress seemed fine).

The Staff was excellent... However, the room floor wasn't very clean, I walked around in my "white socks" they were black when I took them off... I litterally had to squeeze between the sink and shower door to get in / out of the shower... no hand soap for the sink... the room needs major renovations

Great boutique hotel right on the beach. Small but clean. We were able to walk to restaurants, bars, the boardwalk on Venice Beach. The Staff was friendly, helpful and nice.

Can't beat the location if you like Venice, and the staff could not have been nicer and were always available. The facility itself is VERY tired. The 2 double bed room was tiny and the bathroom was barely big enough to navigate in. There was mold in the shower grout and the TV was probably 20 years old. No decor at all. But, it was reasonably priced for the great location.

Super friendly staff who let us check-in early, answered questions about surrounding area and let us store luggage and provided beach towels after check-out while we waited for our flight. Property itself is pretty dated and was not very clean. Overall, a decent stay if you aren’t paying full price.

The view here was SPECTACULAR: you honestly couldn't get closer to the beach if you tried. I booked a first floor room with the ocean view and it was worthy of the great pictures I sent to make colleagues jealous. BUT, the room was very small, the TV was a nightmare to work, the wifi failed more than succeeded, and the shower was the size of a cat litter box. I can't say I'll ever go again, due to it being so uncomfortable. My bed also smelled of bleach.

The location was AMAZING, just steps from the beach, but the property (specifically the bathroom in our room) was in dire need of repairs and amenities, like hand soap for said bathroom. It was also easy to hear the people above and next to us. From the bathroom i could hear the people in the room next door talking plainly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for the beach access, this place is great. If you're looking for luxury, go a few streets inland.

Overall I enjoyed the hotel - the staff were amazing, the room was comfortable, the location was great - but I don't recommend staying on the lower floor if you can help it. I still have no idea how the person above us managed to make so much noise by themselves (according to the front desk, 1 person) but it was really frustrating at 1 am and again at 8 am. Guessing the lack of carpet or padding? Either way, definitely recommend as long as you stay on the upper level.
Overall I enjoyed the hotel - the staff were amazing, the room was comfortable, the location was great - but I don't recommend staying on the lower floor if you can help it. great location, no doubt about it but rooms are very small with bare minimum in it. Queen size bed for us (room 5). Building is old and don't look kept up. No elevator so people with heavy luggage be aware. No breakfast. Entrance through the back was confusing. Three nights there and i had it. But locarion is prime, right on Venice beach and away from the shaggy/ junkies crowd of Venice...

Absolutely loved the patio on the boardwalk and the rooftop patio. We went on the 4th of July and watched an amazing fireworks display. Very easy to go out the patio to the sand. Didn’t like the smoke alarm going off at 557am chirping due to low battery, or the dirty forks in the kitchen drawer. Front desk clerk wasn’t there for check in but there was a number to call and a short wait for assistance. Would stay again due to proximity to the beach and parking. Denied late check out fyi.

The staff was great. The room was as expected. I added an extra day arriving a day early. I specifically contacted the property to insure I could reserve parking for the early arrival which they charge for separately outside Expedia. I was assured they reserved it for me. Upon arrival I was told they did not have any parking reserved for me the first night. It was a hassle and not entirely safe to park elsewhere nearby but I did eventually find street parking after a few attempts. They did comp my parking for the next two nigjts as an apology. The staff was great. The room was as expected. I added an extra day arriving a day early. I specifically contacted the property to insure I could reserve parking for the early arrival which they charge for separately outside Expedia. I was assured they reserved it for me. Upon arrival I was told they did not have any parking reserved for me the first night. It was a hassle and not entirely safe to park elsewhere nearby but I did eventually find street parking after a few attempts. They did comp my parking for the next two nigjts as an apology. It was a hassle but it turned out ok. Would stay here again.

Super friendly staff who let us check-in early, answered questions about surrounding area and let us store luggage and provided beach towels after check-out while we waited for our flight. Property itself is pretty dated and was not very clean. Overall, a decent stay if you aren’t paying full price.

This property is great with a few specific callouts: 1) The rooms are not very big. They were fine for my 12 year old and myself, but were still a little tight. 2) The parking is also very tight and if you get back later than 11pm and the staff is not there and someone has stolen a spot, you can be in a tough spot. Luckily the people who stole my spot left before I had to park in an illegal spot (although the staff assured me they'd cover the ticket if I got one) 3) The hotel is right down the street from some active nightlife spots... Which can be great, but also can result in some possibly unwanted late night merriment (yelling, singing, etc) Overall id highly recommend, just be aware ;)

Really reasonably priced for being right on the beach. The rooftop deck was cool, too. The location is perfect: The action of the Venice boardwalk is just a short walk away but you’re far enough that you don’t get all the shouting and chatter.

There were some surprises, especially when it’s so highly rated on hotels.com. It makes it hard to trust reviews. First, the description clearly states “parking available.” But we arrived to find only 8 parking spots, all of which were taken, and then we were told that people book them in advance. We never had that option and were completely unaware. So late at night, we had to find street parking in an unfamiliar town, and walk in the dark with our luggage in an area that didn’t feel safe. When we finally found the place (no signage which was weird) and got inside, we found the check in desk in the middle of a hallway, only a few feet from what turned out to be our room. Nobody was there, so waited in the hallway with our stuff for quite a while until we decided to call, and the guy came from a back room super close by… it would have been great to have a bell or something instead of a sign saying to wait 30 mins and then call. The “hotel” felt more like a “motel” - small and poorly updated. The A/C box was dripping a weird dark liquid on the shutters. It wasn’t what we expected for the price, and the surrounding area wasn’t very nice either. It was a disappointing experience.

Another tourist referred to the area as "grungy", I think that means dirty & common to see drug use & homeless people. In saying that this is probably what the area is known for & part of the attraction. The location was fantastic, literally right on the beach, & all the staff were also great, & once we got the "grunge thing" really appreciated the location. If you want to be in the middle of it this is probably the most cost effective place to do it.

Location is great, room was clean. The rooftop is great for sunsets, and we enjoyed the outdoor space. It is very close to bars and restaurants as well as the boardwalk. That said, it can get a little loud in the back alley when the bars let out, but all-in-all, this was a comfortable stay and I would stay again.

Like many reviews have said, the location is great. It's a short walk to many restaurants and a convenience store and the Beach and pier are right out front. Doesn't have the greatest amenities but it was perfect for a one night stay. Walls are thin but we used a sleep sound app and it was fine. Fantastic customer service - very welcoming and friendly.

It was a nice, clean little place but I feel their information on your site is completely wrong.. Rooms look completely different, they are so tiny. Photos on your site are not really what it looks like. For the most part I felt safe staying there but feel the explanation is the property on your sight is not at all what it is. Staff was very nice when you could find them. Joe was great, but when he wasn’t working you never knew were anyone was if you have questions.. Zero amenities not even a vending machine. I would not come back and stay here. Walls are thin, we were woke up at 4 am the first night by pounding on the outside wall by a homeless individual and we were on second floor, that tells you how thin the walls were.

I had a wonderful stay. I loved being right on the sand. No ice machine here but there a market a short walk away. Location and staff are amazing. Rooms are basic and small but the bed was comfortable and you get a fridge with a little freezer. Would stay again.

Gem of a hotel in a great location! I loved the small boutique feel of this place. Nice, clean rooms - a bit small but plenty comfortable. Staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the places to gather along the oceanside and the rooftop terrace. The only thing missing was coffee in the rooms/onsite.

Property was quaint and right on the beach so that was a huge plus. Check in and staff was friendly and helpful! Close to the pier, coffee shops and eatery’s. The down side was no coffee machine or microwave in the room. Huge downer. There was a communal microwave on the second floor for everyone however we were not told about it. Nice third deck for viewing. Room was very small but expected in an old building. We couldn’t get the safe or TV working.? It’s good for a night or two. In my mind not for any longer of a stay.

Perfect location right on the beach and right next to the walking and bike path. Plenty of restaurants, markets, and shopping within a short walking distance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage there for a few hours after checkout since our flight was later. The room was small, but nice and clean. My only complaints is there is no sink counter space in the bathroom so not much room for your tolietries, makeup, etc. No where to set stuff inside shower either. Also, no vent in bathroom. The biggest downfall for me was no coffeepot in room or main area. First time I've stayed in a hotel where I've had to go out for coffee every morning. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay though.

No elevator so people with heavy luggage be aware. No breakfast. Entrance through the back was confusing. Three nights there and i had it. But locarion is prime, right on Venice beach and away from the shaggy/ junkies crowd of Venice...

What a beautiful spot! You cannot get any closer to the beach! I misunderstood and thought that they had beach chairs and umbrellas that you could take to the beach. They do not. That is my only knock on the hotel.
