This property is very old..however, the quality of cleanliness makes it feel much younger. The property doesn't have have an elevator, which it was no problem the staff assisted us with bringing up our luggages. The breakfast was really good, the staff was super friendly, including the owner. This is going to be our new go to place. It is perfect for a few nights.

Had a very friendly check in... lovely lady. Explained everything and showed us around Our room although basic Ideal for us.. Double bed.. TV.. desk and chair.. Plenty of sockets for charging and using your mobile devices.. Full length mirror which the wife was very happy with.. Good size bathroom ensuite.. great hot shower which is something i do like for me personally... Although near a main road and under the flight path for Heathrow..we never experienced any noise and had a very comfortable night sleep.. There is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but freely available to make in the adjacent kitchen/ Dining room which over looks a beautiful garden.. can do a little plane spotting here also if you want.. Certainly recommend staying here as it's very reasonably priced and in great location if traveling to Twickenham stadium.Heathrow or London as the case for me.. The hotel offers a contintel style breakfast which is more than adequate to set you up for the day.. And along with this beans and scrambled eggs are available.. beans and scrambled egg on toast for me.. Yes wouldn't hesitate in returning in the future... Fyi.. onsite parking available and ample spaces

Our second stay at this B&B.. just on the outskirts of London and close to Heathrow And Twickenham nearby.. Check in was with a lovely lady.. allocated a lovely garden room double bed and a single for our son.. contained everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay..may i add all very clean and well kept Conservatory/kitchen open for access to tea and coffee machine so no need for them in the room.. Breakfast was included in the price and a great selection of continental and cooked food along with tea coffee and juice available from 7am... Free parking to the front of the hotel and easy access from the road.. Felt safe leaving the car in the car park overnight.. There are shops and a KFC along with other facilities nearby..

Was greeted warmly by an old gentleman who k8ndly checked us in 25 minutes early. He wanted us to have a big room upstairs but was concerned about our heavy luggage. Problem solved when he got his daughters to take our cases up for us. So kind. The room was big and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower worked quite well, but bot a power shower. Breakfast had both cold and hot options and we were able to make hot drinks downstairs whenever we wanted to. Pleasant outside ,just a shame the lawn hadn't been mowed in a long time giving an untidy appearance. Easy to get to Heathrow by tube, about 5 minutes walk away. Would happily stay here again as also close to lical.shops and a pub.

Staff were friendly and welcoming at all hours - day and night. The room was clean and quiet. There were safes available for guests, and, for breakfast, they had lots of fresh fruit and dairy-free milk options. I will absolutely be staying at Skylark if I'm ever in London again. Thank you, Skylark!

Staff were friendly enough. Parking limited to about 6 cars. The room though clean was tired and some staining to bed bases and carpet. Room was very small but had a nice new shower although also small. Had a problem with the radiator being cold, the young lad came and had a look and said he would be back…. never saw him again so fixed it myself. Tv decent size with good channel choices. Room needed new furniture and a deep clean, walls painting and updating. The set of three drawers was leaning 2 inches to the left as broken. Cost £81 and I’ve had bigger modern rooms for less.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this property. The room was small, but very clean. The double bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows provided. The bathroom was equally small and clean, and both the hot water and shower pressure were excellent. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. I chose to sleep longer, rather than get up for breakfast (jet lag can be a killer!), but I'm given to understand I missed a good one! Parking is on the hotel forecourt: there isn't much of it, but it was perfect for my needs. The local underground station - Hounslow West - is a 5-minute walk away. I felt very safe walking in the area, but was disappointed at how trashy/dirty the area was around the underground station. Overall, though, this was a great stay and I would definitely both choose to stay here again, and recommend it for other travelers!

Stayed as a family of 6. Decent sized room which was clean. Staff helpful and breakfast was lovely. Short 3 min walk to tube station. Beds are really hard which I liked but not for everyone. Would stay here again

Stayed after arriving late from Heathrow and had to go into to central London the day after. The room was excellent given the price and very clean with a comfortable bed. Staff were all friendly and helpful and it was in easy walking distance to the tube station.

Nice and welcoming staff. The cleaning of my room was not very good. Found black hair in the bed and it was a bit dusty. The check out time is a bit early (1030). The breakfast is ok and not much better than that. It's close to Heatrow airport.

The beds and room were good. More hooks on doors for jackets or towels would be greatly appreciated! The breakfast was just ok; more and better choices are needed. Saw a mouse in our room once, but just the once. Staff askes if we left our window open, but our window looked into an interior kitchen area... Overall great staff and a nice stay, but just a few minor improvements and details would take this location to the next level.

Location, location, location. Property is not in good shape, needs paint, walls and furniture as beat, but bathroom was updated and spotless and bed was in good shape and clean and even smelled clean. Highly recommended for the quick sleep/wash before a Heathrow departure.

The property accessibility was limited. Narrow hallways, difficult door locks, rooms were very sparse. We were in room 17 that was a triple. Only two of us so the single bed provided a space for luggage. No bedside lamp and one outlet. A single ceiling light. It was acceptable for our purpose of being close to Heathrow for an early morning flight.

Great spot to stay overnight prior to catching out of Heathrow. Easy tube ride. The room was small but worked fine for three of us. We really enjoyed the outdoor area in the evening and again during breakfast. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful.

We booked two tripple rooms for a 1-night stay for our family. Location is not bad, only a short walk to the Underground. Rooms were small but ok for just staying a night. Internet was fine, staff were quite friendly. On-site parking is also good. Breakfast was quite a basic 'continental' breakfast with some cooked food (but mostly cold). Hotel is almost directly under the Heathrow flight path, so on a warm night you can't close the windows but get a lot of plane noise. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable and quite stiff.

Only qualm with the facility was that the location of my room was close to the common/dining area so it was loud at night and got loud earlier in the morning. Location was relatively old but had the basics I needed and it was as advertised.

The international breakfast included into the price, was not served even if well publicized at the entrance. I looked for the host but I didn’t find anyone, also for checkout, and I left the B&B without the possibility to speak with someone. Very disappointing experience.

Check in was excellent, arrived early so only dropped off bags but managed to check in and was shown the facilities and room so we only needed to collect our keys on oud return

Very friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast was good and tea/coffee available at all times. Room basic but comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Staff very kindly allowed me to sit out in the lovely garden after check out, while I sorted a few bits on my laptop. Free parking is great and saves some money (most hotels in the area seem to charge for parking). Would stay again, thanks for a lovely stay.

Staff were friendly enough. Parking limited to about 6 cars. The room though clean was tired and some staining to bed bases and carpet. Room was very small but had a nice new shower although also small. Had a problem with the radiator being cold, the young lad came and had a look and said he would be back…. never saw him again so fixed it myself. Tv decent size with good channel choices. Room needed new furniture and a deep clean, walls painting and updating. The set of three drawers was leaning 2 inches to the left as broken. Cost £81 and I’ve had bigger modern rooms for less.

The room, the service and the hospitality from the front desk team was excellent. The experience though was spoilt by ridiculous fireworks going off like bolts until gone 2:30am and hardly any sleep. Ridiculous.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this property. The room was small, but very clean. The double bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows provided. The bathroom was equally small and clean, and both the hot water and shower pressure were excellent. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. I chose to sleep longer, rather than get up for breakfast (jet lag can be a killer!), but I'm given to understand I missed a good one! Parking is on the hotel forecourt: there isn't much of it, but it was perfect for my needs. The local underground station - Hounslow West - is a 5-minute walk away. I felt very safe walking in the area, but was disappointed at how trashy/dirty the area was around the underground station. Overall, though, this was a great stay and I would definitely both choose to stay here again, and recommend it for other travelers!

This Bed and Breakfast hotel is excellent value for money. It's close to the underground only a couple of stops from Heathrow. The area it's in isn't the best and the property is basic, but it's price point is very good considering it's really convenient location. It was clean and functional If you're looking for a good quality hotel, spend a little more and go somewhere else. If you want somewhere close to the airport without breaking the bank then this is perfect

Stayed as a family of 6. Decent sized room which was clean. Staff helpful and breakfast was lovely. Short 3 min walk to tube station. Beds are really hard which I liked but not for everyone. Would stay here again

Convenient location near Heathrow Airport, breakfast had plenty of options. Not too bad a walk to the nearest train station where you can get a single train into downtown London, that was convenient also. Good price for what we got!

Great check-in, got al the info on the tube museum's, shows in London, nice breakfast in the dinning area which was also available for hot drinks and to eat the dinner we brought in after a day sight seeing. And only 15 minutes from the hire car drop off at heathrow 👍

When wanting a place just a few minutes from the airport certain compromises need to be embraced: The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and the breakfast was comprehensive and well-presented. However, being only a few minutes away from the airport means accepting the noise of aircraft passing low every couple of minutes. On balance price and the romance of the start of a journey means I will stay there again.

The skylark has been an amazing place to stay! Staff is so friendly and helpful. It is an excellent value for the money. We have truly enjoyed our stay and will be returning soon! The breakfast is delicious! Plenty of food and lots of variety. Also have to mention that it is in a great location! Just a 3 minute walk to the underground and bus station. We have loved it here!

Our second stay at this B&B.. just on the outskirts of London and close to Heathrow And Twickenham nearby.. Check in was with a lovely lady.. allocated a lovely garden room double bed and a single for our son.. contained everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay..may i add all very clean and well kept Conservatory/kitchen open for access to tea and coffee machine so no need for them in the room.. Breakfast was included in the price and a great selection of continental and cooked food along with tea coffee and juice available from 7am... Free parking to the front of the hotel and easy access from the road.. Felt safe leaving the car in the car park overnight.. There are shops and a KFC along with other facilities nearby..

This is a great place to stay for the price. We only stayed here one night to be closer to the airport for a morning flight. I was impressed to know that a continental breakfast was included, it included hot and cold items. This was my favorite part of the stay as the kitchen has a beautiful view of the garden and everything was spot clean and organized. There are a lot of stores and food shops across the street and its only a block away from the train station so its very conveniently located. We arrived on a late flight so I had to run from the airport because the check in time was advertised as closing at 11:30pm. For me that was the only inconvenience.

On the negative side, the room was too small and very basic, the bed and the pillows were of low standards. The noise was also high and I could hear people talking outside the room. On the positive side, staff was is friendly and helpful. The shared dining area where tea/coffee is available all the time free of charge is wonderful. The garden is also very nice and relaxing. Heathrow Airport is only 2 stops away and there is also a lot of restaurants and shops in the area. Overall, this is a good place with value for money. If only the rooms were better equipped I would give then 10/10.
