Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump

Stayed here for a quick overnight trip. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I had a bit of an issue with the elevators and my room key but staff took care of it. My room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The water pressure in the shower was best out of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The TV was huge, the bed was super comfortable. This hotel is in walking distance from Short Pump Town Center which is a plus. We had dinner at the restaurant in the lobby. The food was delicious and so was the breakfast. My only issue was the pool. The pool water was very murky and the walking area around the pool was not very clean. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

The reason for the stay was to relax in the spa and the hot tub. Neither were open. Would have been nice if somebody would let a person know this before they check in so you have a choice as to going to a different place that has a functioning hot tub. Never did figure out if you could order room service as nothing in the room mentioned it.

This Hotel was well maintained. Beautiful inside and outside. The location was perfect, especially if you enjoy shopping and dining out, or you could just dine - in at the hotel or order room service. There was a Bar center at the front of the hotel, a conference room to hold seminars and a spa.

Lobby was beautiful. Parking garage with elevator was very convenient. Pool area was small, outdated & dirty. Hot tub was dirty. Room was clean, but outdated.

I liked the pool and hot tub as well as access to the outdoor area by the pool. I liked the coffee shop, although i wish it was open later or even 24 hours. I liked the fridge and in room cooff, but i really needed a microwave in my room. Staff at desk, bar, are housekeeping and catering service were professional and friendly lovely people. I also liked the ability to tip housekeeping via the QR code.

Restaurants hours weren't ideal. The food was awesome. And the fitness center didn't have many options.

Excellent property. Spacious comfortable rooms, ample parking including a garage which connects directly to the hotel via an elevator. Pool and hot tub onsite. Shopping and dining options are around the property. Short Pump Mall has major department stores and other branded stored. Twenty minute ride from the Richmond airport. Would stay there again.

The property is superficially nice and the staff was very nice and breakfast was good (paid) butttt coffee machine no work, safe no work and peleton bike in exercise room broken. Needs a little maintenance pool didn’t look that clean either.

We've stayed in this hotel many times over the years and I've always been satisfied. This time we were very disappointed that they now charge for parking at the hotel. The price of the hotel per night is a little steep so we feel like it was just another way for them to pinch off more money. We will not be staying there again, too many nice places right around the same hotel that do not charge for parking.

Clean, comfortable room

Room was clean and staff was very accommodating.

Bathroom shower was not cleaned before our arrival. There was a lot hair on the walls inside the tub. Parking one night was a nightmare. They had an event going on so we had to park across the street. Other than those 2 things we had a good stay.

The vents were full of visible dust which was off-putting, but otherwise, a very nice experience.

Our room was not cleaned. No new towels, no coffee for the next day, bed was not made. Overall poor service.

The beds are too firm for my liking. My back was in pretty rough shape from one night.

My only complaint was the bedding. Very thin. A duvet cover with no duvet inside and something that resembled a skirted bed pad underneath the empty duvet cover. Something much more substantial needs to be provided-even during the summer months.

Our room remained frigid no matter how much we raised the temperature on the thermostat! Very unpleasant! Whenever I was in our room I got inside bed covers to try and warm up! Gloria Dyer

The Hilton Short Pump was a wonderful facility located in the middle of an amazing area. Very convenient to excellent dining and shopping. The facility was very beautiful and the staff was courteous and friendly. Our only mild complaints were 1)that the bed, while nice, was not as comfortable as we had hoped for and 2)the room air conditioning didn’t cool the room as well as we would have liked.

The hotel is beautiful. Front desk staff was nice. The cons were that people were yelling in the hall at midnight, and the bedfing was not comfortable. They use a top sheet as a fitted sheet. It comes untucked and tangles up around you. The comforter is also really thin and there isnt any extra blankets in the room.

Excellent hotel! So clean!! Rooms are large, beds comfy. Hotel is very quiet and it was packed! Half a mile to Short Pump Mall, restaurants everyone. Great location! Pool and hot tub was a nice place to relax and wind down! Large tv! Thank you for a great stay!!

Great room - just the right size. Fantastic shower with wonderful water pressure! The bed was comfortable and as were the linens and the pillows. We totally enjoyed out stay!

Did not appreciate paying for parking overnight. Plenty of land. Bit of a scam. Room unfortunately overlooked a roof.

Very nice hotel overall. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Worst hotel stay of my life due to raging party in room next door that started at 3pm and ended at 3am. I notified desk at 11pm and they turned down music but people continued to come and go until 3am with very loud conversation, constant door slamming and nothing was done to stop this.

The staff at this Hilton were open and welcoming. Each staff member with whom we came into contact was helpful and gracious. The room was clean and very comfortable. The only drawback was that there were no bins for recycling materials.

Wonderful stay. Front of the house was super nice! Helped coordinate with a partnering hotel so I could wash my clothes.

The customer service was beyond excellent! Charles, Jamie and Asia were so nice and would go out of their way to ensure I had a wonderful stay! All the staff there are friendly and helpful! Best hotel experience I’ve ever had and I’ve had many.

This is a very nice property but check-in staff were somewhat disappointing—we were a little early and she left us sit waiting while giving others their room keys. In the morning when we showered the water was almost cold — we called down and they dismissed it as “we were full last night “. So our showers were cold!!! Probably not the first time this issue was brought to their attention—but Hilton doesn’t remedy it!!!! Again, a bit disappointing!!!

My stay was great until I had to drive 3 hours back to pick up my daughter and nephew swim wear/clothes I left at the property. I called the hotel when I got home when I realized that I didn’t have their wet clothes. I called the hotel and asked if housekeeping found them and they went to check. Housekeeping found them. I asked if they could wash them for me and I was willing to pay over the phone and name all the items in the hotel bag. I told Wayne that I was able to come back up that way the weekend to pick the items up. I just didn’t want the clothes to mildew by the being wet until I was able to return. We checked out on Sunday and I was ongoing to return that Saturday. I was told they do not take payment over the phone due having past issues with payment. I talked with the manager Wayne and he could not assist me with any other arrangements. I explained that I had to work the next day and still nothing. So I had to get back in my car and drive 3 hours back to get my daughter and nephew clothes. My daughter had her favorite pants and shirt in the bag, her new swimsuit and my nephew new swimwear also. So after all that I will not be staying at this hotel again because they could not accommodate me in any way. I understand policy’s but sometimes you can make accommodation for someone that is willing to pay and lives 3 hours away. They could have sent me an invoice. My family and I will not be staying at this hotel again.

The staff were outstanding

The personal in the reception are racist. When I arrived to the lobby to request my keys for two rooms. The lady told me are you sure this is the correct property that you are looking? I said yes this is the property, you could check by my last name or my husband. She ask me to show her my email confirmation. I feel very uncomfortable, to be honest I will never choose again this hotel. I booked in this property because my son soccer team were there. But I stayed in other hotels in that area and never got this rude service from any other hotel.

This is my go-to hotel for Richmond. I always book this hotel whenever my family come to visit or if I just need a nice staycation. It's easy parking, great rooms/service and it's close to the mall, movie theater and restaurants. My family and I always enjoy our stay here.

The property was first-class, clean, and modern, and we felt safe and had a wonderful time. We had breakfast every morning, and the selection and food were awesome. We were there for a graduation, and we enjoyed the stay.

I liked the convivence of the location. Clean, friendly staff. For the price per night, it would be nice if the breakfast was complimentary.

Comfortable beds overall. Nice job on the sheets and pillows. Well done Hilton! However, did not enjoy the breakfast/dining room. Very cold unpleasant aesthetics. Same with the bar. The breakfast food was not of higher quality by today's standard of whole unprocessed foods. For $250/night in a suburban hotel the food was disappointing.

We came in a little late. Room was all set for us and everyone was very nice. The restaurant was excellent and took care of us even though we made it for dinner just before the kitchen closed. Place was very beautiful. We will stay there again next time we are in Richmond

Great hotel, good area, lovely bar. My first time here for a con, and they had a lovely set up available to us. The bar was great for socializing post-con, and the resturaunt's food was good too!
