First off, I just have to say how kind, friendly, and welcoming the receptionist was! And even though the hotel doesn't have a large fitness area, they provided a day pass to a nearby fitness center, which I thought was really awesome!

The gym was in a dangerous condition. Very small room, treadmill belt was shredded and half missing and still plugged in for use, no sign saying out of order. The plug should have had a lockout cover on it. This would have been an extremely dangerous situation if someone hadn’t noticed it before starting it. The bike seat wouldn’t lock in place so that was unusable as well. I ended up walking in circles around Publix parking lot doing my 5 miles, could have been dangerous as well. Pool looked clean but was about 65 degrees, way too cold to swim and the exterior door to pool area card access doesn’t work had to walk all the way around the building in bare feet and bathing suit. Also the lounge is closed supposedly for renovations but when I looked in through the door it looked like it was being used as a storage room. Room was acceptably clean and reasonably updated. Coffee was great.

After road-tripping across the US this was our last Best Western before flying home. It was ok at best. The gal at the desk when we arrived was fantastic and friendly. The lighting in the room was minimal. There was a big hot pink stain on the couch cushion. It looked like spilled nail polish. The bed is comfortable. I attempted to use the business center computer but it wouldn’t connect to the internet. In the morning I tried again with no luck. The older lady at the desk was no help and just shrugged her shoulders when I asked for help. After playing with the connection cords I was able to get the internet to work but the printer would not work. Very disappointed.

Stayed here to attend my step son’s graduation at Fort Novosel. Location was convenient. My stay was comfortable. Bed was clean and comfortable. The sofa bed was good for my two young sons to sleep on. Room was very dark which not a fan of. Pool was good except the mosquito problem and bug problem but my sons enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was good overall. The staff were wonderful and helpful.

We traveled after Hurricane Milton was announced to Florida. When arrived the staff member was emphatic with the situation we were facing and provided emotional support. Great customer service! The cleaning staff member assigned to my room was GREAT! The hotel is very simple but easy to find, clean, accesible to other areas. Recommendation: pool needs to better maintenance. It was dirty. However...recommended but not for family with children.

I stayed here for a couple of nights during Hurricane MIlton. The people here were very kind and accommodating. This hotel is walking distance to Panera Bread, Publix, Panda Express, and other shops. Also only a short drive to Walmart, and other fast food chains. Laundry on site was not available but there was a clean laundromat nearby.

Overall the hotel was great the only complaint t I have is the shower was terrible. The water coming from the shower head felt like needles sticking in you and you could not adjust it; the water did not get very hot and the tub was not clean.

This hotel is not located anywhere near Dothan and should not be listed in the Dothan and vicinity searches on Expedia. We had a lovely experience at the best Western plus in Tallahassee and we’re looking forward to a similar experience. Instead, we found a grimy room that looked like it was decorated in the 1970s with awful carpeting and a weird smell. Fortunately, we got there late and we’re only staying one night. The girl who checked us in was delightful. The stuff in the morning were surly and didn’t even respond to good mornings. Expedia should reevaluate their ratings on this location.

The beds are extremely firm. Four of us weren't able to sleep. The walls are so thin we could hear our neighbors talking. We paid $485 dollars for three rooms and didn't get sleep. We are very disapointed in our stay.

The air conditioner went out in my room around midnight and the room got very hot. It was too late in the night for me to pack all my stuff up and go to the front desk and request another room so I just suffered through with a bad night’s sleep. I brought it to the attention of the front desk early the next morning and the response I got was “sorry.”

Stayed here during a recent business trip and was very pleased overall. The hotel is quiet, which made it easy to relax and get work done. It’s also in a great location—several restaurants are just a short walk away, which was super convenient. There's an indoor pool available too if that's something you enjoy. Pros: Nice and clean; the staff was super friendly; the bed and pillows were very comfortable; breakfast went until 10 so you don’t have to wake up super early to eat. Cons: the refrigerator made a really loud clunking banging noise several times during the night; the shower head felt kinda like needles and there was no way to adjust or control where it was spraying; and the black out curtain is very short so sunlight came blaring in early every morning.

The young girl at the reception was annoyed that we walked in and interrupted her cellphone time. She didn't greet us and simply asked for an ID, printed the document for me to sign and handed us the two keys. And then quickly went back to her entertainment. Very unprofessional.
