The parking was great. The staff was very polite and nice. I came in very late, I requested an extension to check out at 12:00 p.m., I only got until 11:30 a.m. but it's ok, at least I received some extension. The hotel also has a nice gym and basic breakfast that was included.

Roach infested. I reserved a 2 queen bed room for me and my daughter. They gave me a 1 bed room...not a big deal, they switched it out for me. I got ready for bed and then when I put my cup down on the table I noticed a roach. Me and my daughter hate roaches. I figured it might just be one, killed it. A minute later a full sized roach accompanied by 3 others started gunning it for the cup and then scattered as soon as they noticed I was going for them. Sat around for a minute and tried to get a few pictures and there were at least 5 different roaches. The staff gave me another room, but the AC wouldnt adjust and it stayed cold all night, and we slept with the light on in hopes to keep the roaches afraid to crawl out. I took pictures but they refuse to refund any money, because roaches are something you have to get over. Gross. Not eating food from a place infested by roaches. I paid decent for this hotel with easy expectations. Getting the room I booked, not being infested by roaches, and functional A/C. Do not go here if you have the same expectations.

Good location, rooms were VERY clean. Walls are thin so we did hear snoring from next door and people above us walking around. Wasn’t terrible though. Nice selection of breakfast items but all carbs (except for boiled eggs) so be aware of that. Some employees do not tend the breakfast bar as well as others. On the days that they work, there are empty things like coffee, fruit, And waffles. They also don’t clean up the area at all and are hard to find because they are in a back room chatting. When I asked if it would be refilled they acted like I was bothering them. But the other employees are great at all of it. No problems with anyone else and the pool was lots of fun. Would definitely go back just hope it’s not on says those people are working.

This honestly has been THE WORST property I have ever stayed at. The check in was easy enough, however, 1) The room has roaches. Several roaches. Small and medium sized roaches. 2) I was placed near a room next to the outside door on the first floor. The door slammed ALL NIGHT and MORNING! 3) The walls are paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING! 4) One or two of the front desk staff was accommodating, however, the rest of the staff were not. The room wasn't cleaned, the front office manager appeared to not care about the constant slamming all night. 5) Pets were allowed in the rooms but apparently they aren't supposed to be. Chose a pet free property because of allergies but when the pet was allowed, my allergies kicked into full effect. 6) Not accommodating to my complaints. I work in hospitality, so I am fully aware of how these properties should work and how the guest experience should be valued, especially for properties that tout awards for excellence. This property fell incredibly short of that line. As a frequent traveler, I will never be returning to this or any Microtel properties. This was supposed to be a relaxing experience for my vacation and this property ruined it for me.

I should have known by the name microtel, but the room was too cramped. By the time we got in and got our luggage in there was no room to sit. I had work to do and the desk is in front of the tv so i had to work off the bed and my husband had no place to sit to watch tv. The room would be better suited for a full sized bed and one person instead of a queen and two people. It was quite cramped to sit in and relax or work. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. Loved to 24 hour coffee bar.

decent, modern middle of the road hotel. Unfortunately, the walls appear to be paper thin and I could hear sounds of talking, children crying, etc from other rooms. I have not had this experience to the same degree in similar hotels.

Check in was professional and pleasant. 2nd floor room easily accessible by elevator. Room was very clean and comfortable. Refrigerator didn't get as cold as we would like. Nice sitting area to relax in room.

If it wasn't for the check-in person at the reservation desk, we wouldn't have known that there is a charge for using the safe in the room you stay in. Was advised to MAKE SURE YOU TELL THE PERSON WHEN YOU LEAVE THAT YOU DIDN'T USE THE SAFE, or we would be charged. We let the morning person know, and we were STILL Charged. Called to let the hotel know and they said that charge should fall off in a week....WHAT!~ Should NEVER have been charged in the first place. That is just a ADDED CHARGE that no one knows unless someone at the reservation desk tells you!!! Shame on you!!

I was in constant communication with the property about my flight being delayed and would be arriving late. I was told I needed to be there by 3:00 AM or they couldn't guarantee my room despite already prepaying for two nights. I asked if another adult relative who was meeting us there could be added to the reservation so they could check in and guarantee I would have a room for my children and myself who would be arriving late. I was told no changes could be made to the reservation. So my relative who already drove two hours to meet us was also left without a place to stay. Our flight ended up being cancelled due to mechanical issues so I ended up cancelling the room for the second night well within a 24 hour notice and was denied a partial refund or a credit towards a future stay. Very poor customer service as the car rental company, airline and mom and pop excursion place all issued us a full refund. Very poor customer service as this was beyond my control.

This was our second hotel on our very long vacation trip overall the hotel was very satisfying it was extremely clean everyone for the most part was really nice had a beautiful pool we really liked our rooms I think the only thing that we could complain about was they have a free breakfast and we had stayed there three days and never once was able to take advantage of the free breakfast and my husband one time went to go get some juice I guess she had turned on 10 minutes before breakfast and she snapped at him and wouldn't let him have a little cup of juice that was a little over the top and ridiculous also they have charged us for using a safe not once not twice but four to five times a safe that we never even touched not one time wasn't even aware there was a feed to use a safe not that we did cuz we didn't we've been at home now for 3 or 4 days and we're still fighting to get the safe fees taken off of our credit card other than that the overall stay was very delightful had a very nice time there very clean very safe

Great location. Sits right on where most everything is less than 5 miles away, and less than 5 mins from the Weeki Wachi State Park. We took a 1 min walk to Outback Steakhouse for most of our meals or again, drove less than 5 mins to other restaurants.

It comes out to being average. Pros: Room was clean, plenty of room, decent TV, and the bed and couch were comfortable. Cons: The TV remote was only for DirectTV. Could not adjust the frame rate to take it off the "soap opera" efect on the TV which gives me motion sickness. The included breakfast was trash. Just processed carbs and nothing else. Room walls were so thin, we could hear the people next door, their TV, and their vibrating cell phones even during the night when trying to sleep. The staff was friendly, when we saw them. Overall, some good things, some bad things, so comes out to average.

Byob-bring your own breakfast if you want something healthy, I almost mistook the gravy for oatmeal, you can bounce the hard boiled eggs, brown bananas, lukewarm coffee. The bed is scratchy the mattress needs to be changed, glad I’m here for just one night!!

We have stayed here twice now for visits to Weeki Wachee Springs with 2 young kids. The breakfast is good, a little bit of something for everyone. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The pool is a good size. We always feel safe in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

It was clean but the room has an odd smell. Not sure what it was. It didn't go away though. The breakfast is good with hot and cold options including biscuits and gravy. Yogurt and fruit also. The day manager is nice and helpful.
