Very nice rooms. Appears to be pet friendly. Elevator was noisy so I often used the stairs. Great breakfast with pre-made breakfast bags to bring with you if you needed to depart prior to 6am

Staff was great! When we reserved the room, there was nothing online about construction or the pool currently being closed. There was a tiny table with two different muffins for breakfast and that was it. All night long there was a television on full blast so there was no sleeping.

This Hampton needs an remodel. Our room was dirty. The food was for breakfast was terrible. The juice machine was broken and the eggs and sausage was cold and watery. The staff was very friendly!

They said they had a walk in shower and didn’t, i found Graham crackers in the drawer unwrapped and smashed,i found a used coffee pod in the coffee maker. I feel like i need some sort of compensation.

There wasn't any coffee in the room. And also the bathroom was not cleaned from the prior usage. There were black hairs on the floor, my wife has light brown hair and I am bald... She is a clean freak and not happy with it at all.

The room had very basic amenities, although thoroughly clean. No frills or extras of any kind. Coke machine was empty and ice machine broken on the first floor. We asked to change out a pillow case on a Saturday morning and it wasn't done till Sunday afternoon. Front desk typical of chain hotels... Courteous, albeit ambivalent. Breakfast was sustenance, nothing special or of quality. Keep your expectations low and your experience will be fine.

I was placed in a handicap accessible room, the tv and air-conditioning didn't work appropriately and i only had matress on the bed and no box spring was present. The lady at the desk told me that was because of remodeling

Employees were friendly and helpful but the room was below average. Did not have a comfortable chair, refrigerator was not very cold, mattress not comfortable, turned down sheet to find a live bug crawling around. Elevator was loud with a vibration that was unsettling. Would not recommend staying here.

My ranking of 4-stars is as high a ranking as I ever give for a bargain price chain hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was nicely appointed. Evening tea and coffee service was not good. The hot water provided to make tea was barely warm, and the tea selection included high caffeine Earl Gray (not good at 9 PM) and a terrible tasting lemon infused tea. My comment is a nit, intended to spark better tea service. The next time we come to Monticello we will stay at the Hampton Inn.

We were in Monticello to visit family. Our stay was very positive. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and eager to please. The breakfast was nice and the woman who manages was a ray of sunshine. The front desk staff were efficient and helped us with several small matters. The public areas were clean and the area across from the front desk is very nice. Our two rooms were very clean. The handicapped accessible room was very spacious.
