Amazing to be directly acros from the Palais des Papes with the view from our window onto the Place d’Horloge in such a charming historic building. Just getting to and from the parking is a tiny bit challenging, but given the location, the history and the age it is very well organized.

La propiedad se encuentra bien ubicada pero sus instalaciones son antiguas, ventanas no son insonorizadas por lo que puede molestar el ruido exterior. El elevador no sirve y las pobres chicas de recepción son quienes ayudan a subir el equipaje por escaleras. El desayuno muy limitado y poco fresco para el costo.

Rien à dire si ce n'est l'aspect vétuste de l'ascenseur et le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de verre en chambre. Il serait utile d'informer les voyageurs que s'ils veulent une place dans le parking du Palais des Papes, il faut arriver assez tôt le matin.

Trevligt hotel mitt i gamla stan. Parkering ned/uppgång precis bredvid. Stort och fräscht rum. Lite svårt att hitta parkering då man bara fick adress till hotellet dit man inte kunde åka bil.

The hotel is at the heart of Avignon, couldn't be better situated. It's a beautiful building in sand stone and has this Middle Ages and Gothic feel. Staff was very friendly, the cuisine was ok. The food was good and tasty, the menu I found a bit boring. The hotel lacks maintenance however. The lift didn't work, no batteries in the remote, no light in the gangway, there was AC but a very noisy mobile model. There is no bar, and no vending machine either. At 22h, everything is closed in Avignon. Everything was clean though, the water in the shower warm and the internet good. All in all, I had a good stay.

We fell in love with this charming hotel and the lovely staff that worked there! They made every effort to make us comfortable and welcomed. The location is amazing. Yes there were light bulbs out and the air conditioning was broken but we survived it and slept with the windows open, laughing at the early morning noise. The charm of the hotel won us over completely. You do need to know to park at the Palais des Papes parking lot and travel light as you have to drag your luggage across the cobble stones. There is a classic old European elevator. Travel light. The servers at the restaurant downstairs, however, were rude. Everyone else was delightful! I’d go back again!

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch für eine Übernachtung ist es voll ok. Es ist sehr angenehm direkt im Zentrum ein Zimmer zu haben, das auch noch sehr sauber ist. Nur der Lift funktionierte leider nicht - aber die Dame am Empfang hat uns den Koffer ins Zimmer getragen. Das Frühstück ist jedoch nicht empfehlen - die Tische waren nicht abgeräumt und schmutzig, Brot fehlte .....

un peu d'aspect vieux,pas de frigidaire, ni même une bouteille d'eau dans la chambre,poubelle non vidée,volets abimés,dommage,très pratique central, petit déjeuner:les assiettes pour déposer pains et autres choses n'étaient pas séchées,suite à ma demande une personne les a séché,Le jour de l'arrivée,La personne à l'accueil a été charmante dévouée,serviable,professionnelle,un peu déçue,

1. Deficiencias Críticas de Mantenimiento Humedad y Sanidad: Presencia inaceptable de hongos/moho en las paredes (parte baja de las ventanas), señalando problemas serios de humedad estructural. Aislamiento y Seguridad: Ventanas y contraventanas que no cerraban/ajustaban correctamente. El picaporte de la puerta principal estaba estropeado con tornillos sueltos. Funcionalidad del Baño: La ducha es prácticamente inutilizable, ya que el agua se sale del plato, inundando el baño cada vez. Comodidad: El armario proporcionado era insuficientemente pequeño, incapaz de alojar el contenido de una maleta básica. 2. Higiene y Servicio (Por debajo del Estándar) Ropa de Baño: Las toallas eran visiblemente viejas, descosidas y presentaban manchas permanentes, algo inadmisible para un hotel de 3 estrellas. Limpieza y Gestión de Servicios: Se detectó una falta de higiene general. Las toallas no fueron cambiadas durante la estancia y, de hecho, el personal retiró una toalla de mano sin reponerla. 3. Problema de Olores Ventilación Comunal: Debido a que la cocina daba directamente al recibidor central y la escalera, un fuerte y desagradable olor a comida impregnaba las áreas comunes del edificio. The room is large and was clean. The bed linens were very worn and the coverlet would disintegrate when touched. The shower only had warm water at night, but was hot in the morning. After a long day exploring the city not having a hot shower was disappointing. Our first night the room was quiet, the second noisy trucks were passing by. Maybe it was trash day...

Très grande chambre avec un très grand lit et vue sur le Palais des Papes. Magnifique ! Par contre les fenêtres sont en simple vitrage : nous avons eu droit aux gens qui se promènent en ville jusqu'à une heure du matin et aux poubelles à 5 heures : la nuit fut courte. Le petit déjeuner est bien mais pas de plat chaud.
Très grande chambre avec un très grand lit et vue sur le Palais des Papes. Magnifique ! Par contre les fenêtres sont en simple vitrage : nous avons eu droit aux gens qui se promènent en ville jusqu'à une heure du matin et aux poubelles à 5 heures : la nuit fut courte. Very well located. Good front desk service. Room #2 were we stayed was good but the floor vibrated very loudly until 11PM Discount on the parking didn't work so we paid full price and was very expensive 25 eu

The room is large and was clean. The bed linens were very worn and the coverlet would disintegrate when touched. The shower only had warm water at night, but was hot in the morning. After a long day exploring the city not having a hot shower was disappointing. Our first night the room was quiet, the second noisy trucks were passing by. Maybe it was trash day...

Enjoyed our stay. We rented two rooms One was newly remodeled Ours was older but freshly done up with beamed ceilings. So fun to be in a quaint historic building above a restaurant. Parking was easy and elevator delivered us in front of Palais des Papes a short walk to our hotel .

Het oude hotel ligt midden in Avignon. De openbare parkeergarage ligt letterlijk direct bij de voordeur. Kamer was geen hoogvlieger maar voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk.

Good position, but we had a small back room onto a back yard with erratic lighting and broken louvre into the bathroom. Eccentric breakfast arrangements. NO WARNING that access was restricted by a market, so that it took nearly half an hour to unload, one of us hovering illegally, the other wheeling cases. WORST OF ALL: we asked for a taxi for next morning, which wasn't ordered. The attempt by the office to book another failed repeatedly and we had to walk half a mile to another station to get to the TGV station we wanted a taxi to. We only just made it.

The hotel is at the heart of Avignon, couldn't be better situated. It's a beautiful building in sand stone and has this Middle Ages and Gothic feel. Staff was very friendly, the cuisine was ok. The food was good and tasty, the menu I found a bit boring. The hotel lacks maintenance however. The lift didn't work, no batteries in the remote, no light in the gangway, there was AC but a very noisy mobile model. There is no bar, and no vending machine either. At 22h, everything is closed in Avignon. Everything was clean though, the water in the shower warm and the internet good. All in all, I had a good stay.

We fell in love with this charming hotel and the lovely staff that worked there! They made every effort to make us comfortable and welcomed. The location is amazing. Yes there were light bulbs out and the air conditioning was broken but we survived it and slept with the windows open, laughing at the early morning noise. The charm of the hotel won us over completely. You do need to know to park at the Palais des Papes parking lot and travel light as you have to drag your luggage across the cobble stones. There is a classic old European elevator. Travel light. The servers at the restaurant downstairs, however, were rude. Everyone else was delightful! I’d go back again!

Amazing to be directly acros from the Palais des Papes with the view from our window onto the Place d’Horloge in such a charming historic building. Just getting to and from the parking is a tiny bit challenging, but given the location, the history and the age it is very well organized.

La propiedad se encuentra bien ubicada pero sus instalaciones son antiguas, ventanas no son insonorizadas por lo que puede molestar el ruido exterior. El elevador no sirve y las pobres chicas de recepción son quienes ayudan a subir el equipaje por escaleras. El desayuno muy limitado y poco fresco para el costo.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, doch für eine Übernachtung ist es voll ok. Es ist sehr angenehm direkt im Zentrum ein Zimmer zu haben, das auch noch sehr sauber ist. Nur der Lift funktionierte leider nicht - aber die Dame am Empfang hat uns den Koffer ins Zimmer getragen. Das Frühstück ist jedoch nicht empfehlen - die Tische waren nicht abgeräumt und schmutzig, Brot fehlte .....

Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!

Fantastic location and warm welcoming staff. We had a wonderful view of the palace entrance, which was only a 30 second walk away. Everything you would typically want in a room was already there without having to ask the staff. Beds were comfortable, including the pull-out couch. Plenty of coffee in the room.
