Four Points by Sheraton Saskatoon

If you’re looking for a place to lay your head and sleep this hotel will match that criteria. If you’re looking for a hotel with a pool I would strongly reccomend going else where. Immediately walking into the pool there’s an intense smell of urine. The pool and hot tub are both stained yellow and not in good shape. The ultimate down side. The waterslide only runs Wed,Thurs, Fri evenings and all day Saturday and Sunday. Which was a huuuge disappointment for my daughter who was wanting to slide during the day during the pool hours of 9am-9pm the pool also left us with irritation to our skin!

Convenient location. Pool/waterslide was out of order (booked for this reason), and no where did they state that before I booked. Told me as I checked in, they knew I wasn't happy but didn't offer any solution. Contacted Expedia and they were helpful but because I had checked in I could not get a refund. I got a $30 Expedia credit and was given the option to talk to the front desk about going to another hotel to use their pool. Decided thay was more inconvenient. Stayed the night and left early in the morning, was not interested in staying any longer. Room was clean but needs to be repainted, water stains on ceiling, just worn looking.

Stay was good. Pool needs some maintenance and hot tub didn’t work. Staff was excellent.

Pool was out of order and the smoke pit is right outside the front door- and was always in use. Have to hold your breath every time you come or go.

The hotel was decent, beds very comfortable. Pool and hot tub were a weird colour and filled with kids late at night - nothing to do about that and it looked much cleaner in the morning. Not a fancy stay but very comfy sleep.

The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfy. The staff member when we checked in was terrific. I didn't like that there were a bunch of people smoking cigarettes and pot right outside the main entry when we arrived with our kids. I was also disappointed that the waterslide doesn’t operate on Mondays - would have been nice to know that in advance from the listing when be booked.

The building itself has not been well kept, with carpet in the hallways not flush cracks in the tiles and drywall patched awfully. The swimming pool was not clean, and the

My stay was good, may return next time I’m in the city. Was disappointed with the hot tub though, heat was almost adequate but the jets did not work.

I booked two rooms for a family event in Saskatoon. One room (308) the thermostat did not work at all. Too hot for sleeping. Took my grandchildren to the pool Saturday night. There was a group of 15-20 children unsupervised and disruptive. Very loud banging on the waterslide, screaming, roughhousing. We could not stay. Sunday morning we went back to pool to be told it would be closed for 4 days??? Not surprised, but kids were very disappointed! I paid over 200$ for each of these rooms. Only one room was booked through hotels.com. I would never recommend this hotel. This hotel is a 3 dressed up as an 8. Had a stale, old small of smoke. Must have been a smoking allowed building previously.

Pool did not work the whole time we were there.

Did not use anything else but a stay in the room. Bathroom tiles are broken and room needs minor upkeep and repairs. Elevator carpet really dirty. Really noisy with children crying and coming and going in hallways at 11:00 pm. Finally, kids running in hallways at 2am. Not what we expected at a Four Points hotel.

Upon arrive you are greeted by the glorious smell of weed… The bathroom had mold in it… that should have been our first clue. The mini fridge leaked all night long and there was a huge puddle in the morning—we didn’t even use the fridge. The cold water tap leaked like no tomorrow when trying to wash our hands. The bathroom fan took forever to turn on. Just pick another hotel. This one isn’t worth it for the price.

Room floor wasn't clean

Officially, the worst Four Points or any Marriott Bonvoy property I've ever stayed at. It just just awful: dirty carpets all over, including elevators, hallways, and the room. Broker sink, broken shower, poorly repaired tiles, broken tiles, yellow-ish bed sheets, etc. Highly not recommended. Stay away from this hotel.

Dirty, broken and run down. The only nice thing about the stay was they refunded me for two out of the three night I was staying so I could book somewhere else.

We really loved the staff so kind and helped us so fast and efficiently. Found the pool a bit unclean and in room 407 the shower was not working properly taps were opposite ways, I would recommend cleaning the carpets a bit better in room 405 our carpets were dirty. The beds were so comfortable and I enjoyed having a crib to borrow for my baby.

Older property. Room itself was ok however carpet was quite stained. Bathroom floor tiles cracked. Wifi signal only fair. Could easily hear noise in hall and upstairs room. Likely would not stay here again

Maintence of the room was poor. Textured wall had a patch that had been poorly glued over top of whatever issue was existing and was lifting at the edges. The light fixture cover in the shower was not sealed. Light could be seen between the fixture cover and the ceiling. Walls and shower showed poor cleanliness, with pink mold and scale/build up around the edges of the shower glass.

I like the location but not much else. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was not attended to during the day so we had to call down for clean towels, etc. There was a big gross stain on the white bed spread. Cleanliness of halls and elevators was lacking as well.

The room was very clean!!! The staff were polite and courteous. Restaurants were in the hotel and convenient for dining.

I would seriously take a look at replacing the bed. In the room I was in the bed springs were shot and really uncomfortable. Based on that I would not recommend this hotel.

Room was clean and spacious. Noisy halls when people were walking thru.

If we go again we will ask for the top floor…poor sound insulation. I found the rooms comfortable and nicely decorated.

Hot water took a very long time to come. Bed was too firm. The room aesthetics were bland and boring. TV was small.

Vanessa at the front went up and beyond to accommodate us!!! Excellent! While the east indian at the restaurant would not even give us a pork and spoon when we asked for it for our take out food! Absolutely ridiculous!!! The elevator is dirty, the room is noisy and does not feel like four points hotel that we stayed many times in different cities! Made my allergy flared up because of the dusty carpet! Feels like a motel not a hotel!!!

It was average hotel. Bed was comfy, bathroom was renovated, didn’t eat at the restaurant. Parking after 9pm meant walking around the hotel from the back to the main entrance, no other door. Not easy in the winter

There was consistently a hum in room, sounded like a pump in the distance.

The building was extremely noisy all the doors would slam shut and the halls shook as people walked by. Could hear doors open and close on the other floors. Traffic in the hallways was rediculous all through the night

Great location with restaurants and shopping. Amenities were as listed, staff were very accommodating and helpful. It was quiet at night, bed was comfy. One thing they could have is an extra blanket. The heavy duvet was too warm, blanket would suffice.

Very rude staff at front desk, not enough cameras for the types of people that stay there with liquor available downstairs as we had an instance with a drunk rude hotel guest and felt unsafe in the elevators, ghetto

Great staff and service!

Had to ask for our deposit back as well as the man in the front desk ask how our stays was and pressured us into giving a high review saying “ You know if you don’t give us below 8 it’s a fail, so I’ll be expecting a 10 from you?” Waiting 20 minutes for our money back when they said 5, as they were waiting from a phone call.. after the 20 minutes the front desk lady said “oh we got the call, you can put it”. Super unprofessional and no urgency as we have a work meeting at 11:30 but we’re late because it took in total 30 minutes.

Zahid at the front desk kindly accommodated my request for a late departure. Nice option in Saskatoon.

Overall, the room was adequate. It was large which was good as we were four adults in the room. That being said, we were only given two large bath towels, two face cloths and two hand towels, there were only two coffee mugs in the room and the coffee selection included a single serving of regular coffee or two single servings of decaf. Not enough for four adults. Called down to the desk two different times for items (coffee, cups and towels) which never arrived. Had to go to the desk to get them. Front desk staff was no help on a holiday Monday morning in helping us find somewhere for breakfast. Neglected to tell us that the hotel restaurant would open at 8:00 a.m. when we were looking for breakfast at 7:40 a.m. ended up randomly driving around and happened upon a Cora's restaurant that was open, thankfully. When we did eat in the hotel restaurant the food was very good, better than expected even. Breakfast staff was super friendly and attentive, dinner service was much, much slower, almost non-existent. Overall, the room served the purpose as we were really just there to sleep then gone all day. We found if we left a note for cleaning staff we could get the extra coffee and other items we needed. Would stay here again as the location is good for my needs. Might not put four adults in the same room again though, seems to be more than what the hotel expects.

Hotel is just ok. A bit dated. Very good location. Near to shop & restaurant. What pill down the rate is that we reported about the children noise, screaming & running at the hallway even after 11pm! Nothing was done. It was not a restful night. It will be our first & last stay.

Property is showing its age, and the exterior grounds could use some better maintenance (weeding, garbage pickup). Overall an enjoyable stay and a decent price, with easy access to major arterial roads.

The location is great. Lots of stores & restaurants are within walking distance.

Staff was great and room was clean. The hotel was noisy on the floor I stayed on. Other than that this hotel was in a safe and conveient location.

Average hotel! The rooms are not at all sound proof. Kids running around in the hallway. Sketchy area with interesting people. Would never recommend

It was so close to shopping and cafes and just fun exploring neighborhood.

Our stay was good - it is a great location. I did find the bed to be kind of hard but the pillows were great and everything else good. We didn’t eat on the premises.

The Four Points Hotel is very quiet, easy parking, and convenient for local restaurants. Thank-you.

Its walking distance to the shopping area at food

Room was dirty, no complementary breakfast, breakfast doesn’t start until 7 on weekdays and 8 on the weekend. Bathroom was dirty when we checked in. The fridge was too cold and froze anything you put in it. Will never return to this hotel.

My family and I have stayed here multiple times over the years, and had probably a dozen rooms this weekend. The service in the restaurant was slow, the staff would not help since no luggage carts were available all weekend. It was just an overall disappointment after so many years of good experiences. Sadly, this hotel is now off our family list.

Disappointed to find the water slide operates on a very sparse schedule. We chose this for a back to school fun mini vacation with the thought the kids could water slide. However we went on a Tuesday and the water slide does not operate that day. We also requested a cot and were told we could not have one in our room. Food was good in both restaurants and room was good ( needing some minor upgrades) beds were comfortable

First, Expedia prices were more expensive than if I just called the hotel and got my union rate!! Frustrating! The bar didn’t have food past 9:30!! Housekeeping cleaned garbage and took dirty towels but didn’t replace or clean anything even with a 3 night stay! Evading! The one rep Andrew was amazing and accommodating when we needed to extend our stay, the morning staff not so much! They were happier when we left in the morning. The hot tub was not working and the pool hours said 9am but clearly people didn’t listen cause they were there after 8. Location of hotel is great

We needed a last minute room due to weather. Check-in was uneventful. Room was adequate. Bed was comfy. Bathroom clean. Limited amount of towels. Super noisy, kids running up and down the hallways, making lots of noise till late in the evening. Even though we were on the top floor, sounded like stomping above us!! The dining room was closed except for takeout when we checked in. I I thought the dining room was always takeout, to my surprise breakfast was being served in the morning but we didn’t go down in time since we thought it was takeout only. Parking in front of the hotel was available. Overall was an ok short stay.

Check- in was good. They need to update their website as there was no continental breakfast on Sunday, restaurant changed ownership and not as good. We were looking forward to their menu, but changed our minds and went elsewhere. Restaurant doesn’t open till 8 a.m. Not convenient for us as early risers. Went elsewhere. Not happy and will not stay there again.
