We got in late, we arrived around 11:30 pm. We were greeted warmly and check in was seamless. I grabbed a bite from the convenient hotel market thing and the prices were reasonable for the frozen pizza and sodas. The room was incredible, comfortable and clean. We had breakfast and it was delicious. The coffee is top notch, you wouldn't think you were drinking coffee at a hotel. We will be looking for more Microtels in the future to stay at.

When I arrived Friday evening, I had booked what I thought was a handicap room but it really wasn't. The person on duty let me look at a more suitable room and I was able to make the switch. They also helped me carry my things to my room. Being in a wheelchair makes it difficult to push the luggage cart. Check out was more difficult because everyone seemed to be busy so it took me several trips.

We choose this property because it was listed as handicap friendly. It was to some extent. Access was great. The bathroom was a great size, but there was no walkin shower. The tub side was extremely high, very difficult to step over, but it had several grab bars. The floor of the tub was pebbled, but not enough still slippery. The towel bars and towels were on a wall at least seven feet from the tub. The only electrical outlet in the bath was ten feet from the sink. No towel bar near the sink. The room itself had only one electrical plug under the small table next to the bed. This made plugging in several items that needed electric very difficult, ie cpap and hearing aid charging etc. Had to charge the laptop on the floor using the outlet for a vacuum. Not a great experience. If you are handicapped and traveling alone this in not the place for you.

Things seemed just barely clean. The sheets were questionable. It was super noisy and for the amount of rooms available in comparison to the cars parked in the lot, it seemed unnecessary to have someone directly above us. The person above us walked very loudly all night long. It was extremely frustrating.

The hotel is amazing. Of course there’s always room for improvement. Housekeeping is the best, even by premium hotels standard. While everything is wonderfully clean, there was a minor offensive smell in my room. Otherwise, as much as I can help it, I would stay there always.

Staff was very professional and courteous. This location has accessible rooms and that made all of the difference. There did seem to be a bit of a problem with a fruit fly type bug, but after being "bugged" by a few before bed, they didn't seem to be a problem anymore. Despite the "fly" problem, this hotel is very clean and comfortable. I suspect the "fly" problem was just in our room.

The firniture in the room was all stained. The bed was worn out. The sheete were freyed and had yellow patches in them. The pillow case was yellow . The receptionist when i checked in was playing on a game it looked like and didnt seem interested. The bathroom.shelf was hanging off the wall. The fridge in the room was really noisy. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The hotel is really not like it is supposed to be.

Nice hotel with a clean, comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent—waffles, omelets, potatoes, sausages, and a wide variety of other options. Probably one of the best breakfasts among comparable hotels. The only downside was that the shower water wasn’t quite hot enough, so we had to take quick showers.

Hotel was quaint and cozy. Above average for area. However, beds need replaced, clearly one side is slept on more than other. Water pressure is very low, barely enough to feel adequate. Very hot water though which was nice. Comp breakfast was offered and was very lovely looking, we did not actually have anythingto eat though.

The Microtel was a great value. The rooms were nice and the hotel was clean. Breakfast was better than most with a hot option. My only complaint would be noise. You can hear any noise from neighboring rooms. I could hear the guy next to use yawn loudly. My adult children could hear the tv from the next room and a conversation. Everything else was great.

Everything was great except the t v situation. It’s very confusing to operate. You couldn’t get the list of shows that were on and you had to go to each station separately to see what shows were on like just the abc channels. Then when you went to that station that wasn’t what was on anyways. My only complaint about this hotel. Breakfast was great and staff was very helpful. Would go back on mt trip from Florida.

Asked for double beds. None available at check in (9pm). “Upgraded to suite with pullout couch. No bedding in room. Go to front desk, “washers are full, this is all I could find” —a mattress pad!! No sheets, no blankets, no pillows! And to make it worse, the tv only received local channels. Room was clean but stay away from this unprofessional operation!

The front desk attendant was exceptional. She offered to troubleshoot my TV problems so I could relax and watch my Netflix. What a great employee this hotel has. She recognized the needs and sensitivity of others, and did so with a smile. While I went down to get some ice she was pushing a rollaway bed down the hall. Kind, technically savvy, polite, effecient.

The stay was excellent, with comfortable beds, quiet, and easy access. However, the staff was less than friendly, which is odd because Waynesburg is a very friendly area—I decided to stop greeting them since they were not approachable. Other than that, it was good.

The girl at the reception would be very poor, maybe it would be because my English is a little short but independent, I think one pays for a good service !!! with telling you that I had reservations from Friday to Saturday and then from Saturday to Sunday and Saturday I would not return to stay, I preferred to look for another option.

Stayed there for 6 days out of our 10 day trip to an event near Morgantown. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. They have the most comfortable beds of all the places we’ve stayed. Very nice continental breakfast. Very clean and the staff was friendly. Convenient location near the interstate and lots of places to eat around. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced option near Morgantown.

Clean room, comfortable beds. On the day we were there free pizza and soda was available. I am not sure if that is an everyday thing, or just on certain days. The front desk staff was very pleasant, and actually remembered a phone conversation we had a couple of days before we arrived. The hotel was quiet, and we felt safe there. Breakfast was pretty standard, an upgraded continental with a few hot options. Also had a waffle machine, which is always a win in my book! Would definitely stay here again.

Beds were ok but the pillows should be replaced as they were thin and uncomfortable. Staff were very helpful in trying to find better pillows but they were all like that. There were no table lamps by the bed just one large bright light spanning the area above the headboard. Good luck trying to sleep while your partner is reading. The breakfast area only had one waffle maker and biscuits and gravy. There was cereal, bagels and bread. All in all a disappointing start to our morning. There’s a Bob Evan’s next door so I guess people went there instead. Microtel should visit the Hampton Inn and suites. The other big issue was no place to go for dinner. We wanted a nice sit down dinner with a glass of wine but all there was in this town were fast food restaurants like Wendy’s. We had to travel 20 minutes north on the interstate we’ve been on all day to Washington (where we’ll find a hotel for our next trip) and 20 minutes south back to the hotel. In Washington they had places like the Olive Garden and a great place called the Walnut Grill next to it where we had a great meal. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Microtel in Waynesburg is the BEST! The facility is very clean and well kept. There are a lot of dirty, hardworking men that stay at the hotel but you would never know because the lobby, dining area, elevator and all other common areas are kept immaculate. We have stayed here many times and it’s always been perfect! The staff is very nice and the hot breakfast is awesome!! I personally love the “make your own” waffles! There are a few other hotels in the area but Microtel is by far the best of them all!
