Although the hot water heater circulating pump was not working correctly the staff worked with us there was a lot of professional and kind people working at the motel the pool was very clean and the breakfast was not bad at all

Very friendly staff, building was still quiet despite it being bike week. Two complaints are: the ice machine not working on 3rd floor, which I told to front desk at my checkout and smell of marijuana in the bathroom near elevator going to the pool on main floor.

Nice hotel from the outside. Felt safe and quiet. Parking lot could use better lighting. Air conditioning in room could have worked better. Entire common area on the 4th floor was hot like the air conditioning was out. Landscaping could use some work as the beds were full of weeds.

The bed was very comfortable. However, the WIFI was very weak and cut in and out--took forever to load. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. The desk chair was so worn that it should have been thrown out. There were various rust stains in the bathroom and tub. The ice machine on our floor was out of order. And they ran out of many breakfast items by the time we arrived at 8:15 AM.

There was a booger on my sheets when I got into the room so i stripped my sheets immediately. The desk chair looked like they got it from the trash it looked horrible. The tub has stains in it that made you feel it was not clean. The fridge obviously did not fit in the cabinet and it was irritating to have to open and close it. It was not enough lighting in the room. The bathroom had a lot of lighting. I literally hated the shower bar and curtain it was made weird and was hard to close. Overall it was just for one night but I definitely did not feel like I was in a clean and upgraded room.

Room 101 absolutely reeks of dog urine. I realize that it is a “pet friendly” room but there is absolutely no reason for it to smell. I’ve had pets my whole life and I’ve never lived anywhere that stinks like this. Pets have accidents but it is not difficult or costly to clean up after them. For a room to smell this bad, they are obviously unconcerned about sanitation.

I think the hotel has a problem with mold. There were gray spots on the ceiling and it’s VERY humid inside. Door frames and tub were rusted and paint was coming off. The carpet was VERY dirty as well.

I was in town for a few days for business, while the price was good for my stay, my room was less than satisfactory. There were broken pieces in the bathroom, visible rust on just about anything metal, and the couch in the room was stained badly. The check in staff was undermanned making check in take a very long time. Overall, I would spend more for a nicer place next time.

Hotel was clean but a bit worn, our bathroom needed new grout and had rust. The bathroom has eco Fri lighting that kept turning on all night so we had to keep the door shut. Bed was comfortable and hotel was quiet- would definitely stay again

The staff was friendly and check in was easy. The breakfast was ok. I never got bacon, but that's because of the other customers taking a PILE. The area directly around the hotel has nothing walkable. The parkway that it's on is busy and we saw several accidents while we were there. It's a short drive to Pier Park and the beaches. You really need a car in PCB. Something is not quite right with the air-conditioning. It cools, but doesn't take the moisture out of the room, so everything felt damp. Overall, I had a good stay here.

Danielle at the front desk was AMAZING. She was able to accommodate a early check in and was so pleasant every time we saw her during our stay. The manager as well was very pleasant.

Front desk staff were brand new, seem to be trying their best with their customer service skills and check in procedures. They did know where to look on my rental car key to get check in info about the car. They missed my wake up call the first day and didn't have a blow dryer in the room when I called the night before arrival and mentioned it when I checked in. Did not get fresh towels my second day. Did not share about wifi until I called down that night; also had to have maintenance come to the room to set the TV for viewing.

This property was absolutely horrendous. After a red eye flight and being awake for 36 hrs I checked in to drop off bags and grab dinner quick before going to bed. I checked in and dropped off my bags in my room and went to dinner. On return, I realized I put my bags in the wrong room. I flagged down the maintenance man in the hallway and he confirmed my key worked on 3 of the 4 rooms in that hallway. I called the front desk to advised my key worked for the wrong room when I checked in. I was instantly berated and told I was trespassing and they would call the cops if I didn’t leave. I tried to advise her she gave me a key that worked on multiple rooms and I was concerned for safety reasons. She continued to act as if it was my fault I was in the wrong room. I called Orbitz to address the issues, but on top of the key issue the rooms smelled of mold and pee and customer service is non existent. No one should be treated that way and I was told the property has cameras and I shouldn’t worry about they key issue. I made sure to take videos of the key issue and would recommend avoiding this property at all costs.

Absolute nightmare. I showed up at 10:30pm from a 4 hour drive for the staff to tell me “Expedia overbooked you and about 10 other people into our hotel” that is not how it works. The hotel sells rooms to Expedia to rent out. Not the other way around. They were so quick to point the finger and not accept responsibility that they overbooked themselves. I was legitimately turned away from the hotel. The GENERAL MANAGER was reached out to by the front desk and told the front desk “there’s nothing I can do”. The staff did NOTHING to make it right. Didn’t comp a night for a future stay, didn’t even offer to look up other hotels in the area for me. Just said “sorry, I hope you find a room”. I couldn’t have been more calm and friendly either. The General Manager of that location does not deserve her job. She has ZERO customer service and leadership. She should’ve been there to answer to her customers herself, instead she did everything through a phone call where she didn’t have to face the music. I will never return and I will deter anyone I know from ever staying there.

I always choose La Quinta hotels and generally have an exceptional experience. However, this particular one in Panama City Beach was an experience unlike any other La Quinta I’ve stayed at. There was one person working the desk and the process was very slow, about 10 minutes per person to fill out some paperwork that could have been distributed to the five people in line to start filling out before their turn at the front desk. We received our keys and proceeded to our room, the air conditioner was making a high-pitched noise that was unacceptable. We explained the situation to the front desk, and were given keys to a second room. This room had an air conditioner that was in operable. Returning to the front desk, she made several calls trying to find out if anyone from maintenance was working. It appeared as though no one was on duty. Without any apology or consideration for inconvenience, she provided us with new room keys and this room was lovely. The rest of our stay was fine with the exception of the front desk staff clearly having no hospitality training. I highly recommend during the busy spring break season, that this hotel provide enough front desk staff and maintenance to keep this hotel running smoothly.

We stayed at this hotel as a treat to ourselves since we had been staying in a Airbnb previously that week. We should’ve stayed at the Airbnb. The service here was awful. I needed to do an early check in and attempted to call the hotel to ask if this was okay. No one answered the phone. Since no one answered the phone, I arrived in person. There was no one at the front desk and an employee that happened to be around told me to come back in an hour. When I finally got into the room, there was 1 hand towel, a mini bottle of lotion and 1 mini shampoo for 2 people for 3 days. I had to go to the front desk and ask multiple times for towels. Also, I discovered later that night there was no hair dryer provided and for reasons unknown they couldn’t provide my room one. The front desk was noticeably unfriendly and never said hello, goodbye or asked me about my stay. It frankly felt like I was bothering them by asking for the basic amenities that come with a hotel room. My key card was even deactivated about an hour before check out without an explanation. We checked out on time but the cards no longer working made taking bags to the car annoying. The room itself was fine. There was a substantial crack in the sink that made it leak but the jacuzzi tub was very nice.

Staff is incredible! They are so considerate and professional here. The included breakfast is incredible compared to any other hotel in the area. The lady in the kitchen has a way of brightening your morning she's amazing. If you're looking for somewhere comfortable, close to the beach, and without a bunch of hidden fees. Then seriously look into this place. I hope this helps someone on their travels. 🤗 On if you require a very good quality bed this is the best I've found in the area. My partner likes a very firm bed while I enjoy a pillow top, and we both love the bed here. That rarely happens when traveling. Lol

The Inn was clean and convenient. The breakfast was fair, we had some grits that weren't cooked all the way but everything else was good. I was pulling a bike trailer and was told to park on the exit drive, was OK but concerned about parking in the lane of exit traffic. Almost got hit when walking from vehicle. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time when booking.

The hotel is overall clean and fairly new maybe a decade. Rooms are a good size and have microwave and mini fridge. The location is great . It is very close to the beach about a 5 minute drive. ( a few blocks away) free parking at hotel parking a lot. Breakfast was simply ok. Just the basics but there are plenty restaurants around. The only thing we didn’t like was our room wasn’t serviced for two days and we had to take out our own trash and track someone down to get fresh towels. Called the front desk and they told us they would send someone but it took over an hour to come. Definitely think they need to hire more people to get rooms ready and cleaned for check in time.

The stay was fine. We were very disappointed in the breakfast. Ran out of multiple items & did not replace them. It was only a little after 8 & the breakfast goes until 9. Asked for milk & yogurt & was told they were out. It was only Friday morning so what were they going to the rest of the weekend! Very disappointing!!

Staff was rude. Room smelled, no food at breakfast. Came down at 8 and all food was empty. Asked to refill and they came out about 20 min later. Awful food. Powdered eggs, microwaved bacon, cold biscuits. No batter for waffles, no yogurt. List could go on.

as a travel agent, I would testing out different location for some family get togethe. This was an exceptionally enjoyable experience. The breakfast provided was of outstanding quality. The two young women who assisted (breakfast technician )us demonstrated remarkable professionalism and attentiveness. The environment was well-maintained, and the front counter representative exhibited exemplary service.

The property itself is nice and clean, the room we stayed in reeked of mildew. We booked this specifically for the free breakfast because we had children and they did not keep it stocked. Both times we went down for breakfast they ran out of almost everything and were very slow to restock it. One morning they didn’t do it at all. When you asked them to restock, it was like a huge bother and made you feel bad for asking. That was the biggest issue I had while there.
