Stayed for 5 nights at Fraser’s. The location was perfect, stone’s throw away from Namba Station with lots of food and shopping options within walking distance. Appreciate having the washing machine, microwave in the room. Sauna was available by reservation and it was good and private. Breakfast was decent with some nice pastries but could do with more variety.

Close to Namba station, which has big shopping malls, department stores and tonnes of restaurants. The room is big, should be good for family. It also has a small gym and a free sauna to rent. The only defect is the cleaning is not good enough which we found hair in the bathtub. The hotel is eco-friendly. You can opt out the cleaning services if you stay for more than one night. They provide us with coupon to use in convenient stores all over Japan because of that. A thoughtful idea.

Great location. Internet each time worked for only literally a few minutes and then stopped. So we all bought local eSIM for 3 days. If u stay here expect no wifi. The sauna a big plus tho

This hotel was fantastic. The location was great, a short walk from all the action in Dontonbori, close to Namba station, but far away so that it was quite still. The washer/dryer was key as it was halfway through our trip so we were able to pack light and laundry. The room size was quite large as well, and the TV had the ability to cast from your phone which is a huge plus as English speaking travellers. We also got the breakfast while we stayed here which offered a large variety of options. The staff were also very helpful and taught us how luggage forwarding worked when we decided to use the service to send our luggage to our next hotel. Lastly, this hotel has a private sauna and steam room, which was something we took advantage of after days of 25-30k steps through Kyoto and Osaka. If I am ever in Osaka again, I will definitely book this hotel.

Hotel was well located. Doesn’t have parking on site but provides affordable parking options close by at Namba city for ¥2000/24hours. Loved that the hotel has a washing machine and provides liquid for wash. Will stay here again.

Very convenient and safe location. Close to dotonbori and shopping malls. Hotel staff very helpful and nice. One thing I was bothered was the smell of the bathroom. Smelled like a urine stuck on the floor. I don’t know if that’s how its supposed to be because it’s old apartment or what… my nose was not liking it. Other than that, no problem at all. Washer and dryer in one was a plus for me.

The rooms were spacious and appreciated the kitchenette and laundry options in the room. We also had a quiet room which was greatly appreciated. The location was very close to the Namba station and the mall, with lots of shopping, dining options. The one improvement I would suggest is better ventilation in the bathroom as it always felt a bit damp and muggy in the bathroom despite the AC and de-humidifier being on in the room.

Very convenient location in terms of being walkable distance to Dotombori and local trains/subways. My room was clean and I loved having a washing machine in my room especially in the Summer when I was always sweating so I constantly washed my clothes in between outings. The staff was great - always friendly and helpful. The only negative thing seems to be the lack of soundproofing, since I've heard banging, thumping and sometimes yelling through walls or ceiling (could be why they offer ear plugs). If I come back to Osaka I'll most likely book a room here again.

Very corporate, but well situated with everything from Dotonbori to the train and metro station at a walkable distance. The only major issue is the mattresses that are way too hard, making it uncomfortable to have a good night sleep. As soon as they solve this problem for travelers, the place will be a nice little neighborhood apartment hotel where people will want to go to.

The room was amazing! It was huge by Japan standards. It is, hands down, the most comfortable room I've had in Japan. The spaces are big and makes you feel like you're in YOUR own space.

Great hotel, friendly and attentive staff. Quick to assist with any questions. Location is great, with easy access to transit and walking to nearby neighbourhoods. Lots of great nearby eateries and convenience stores on every other block. The room is a good size, especially by Japanese standards. The only issue was that we booked a room for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids), but the room only had 1 (king-sized) bed and 1 small sofa that converted to a bed that barely fit 1 kid. When we enquired at the front desk, they offered to either make up the sofa with sheets for 9,000 yen, or give us sheets for free. As bizarre as it seemed to have to pay extra for them to add sheets, it still didn't solve the problem of where our 2nd child was supposed to sleep. We asked them to deliver 2 sets of sheets, and we managed to create a makeshift bed on the floor. The hotel doesn't have cots or roll-away beds. It was very strange that they knew that we were travelling as a family of 4, but only provided bedding for 3 people. The next day they did offer us a 2 bedroom unit, but for a significantly higher rate than our King Executive room, and since we'd already unpacked, it didn't make much sense logistically or financially. After we "Macgyver-ed" the sleeping arrangements, everything else was great. We would definitely consider this hotel again, but be prepared that their interpretation of how to sleep 4 guests might be off compared to other hotels. We had no such issues at Mimaru hotels previously.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times and every time has been wonderful. The service is excellent. Whenever I send luggage before my stay, it is always waiting for me in my room when I arrive. The staff are all so friendly, welcoming, and professional, especially Janak who helped me check in and Eiko and Shankar who helped me forward my luggage. I was happy that a few staff members even remembered me from my previous visits. The location is perfect. Namba station is very close to the hotel, so it’s a great base for exploring Osaka and for day trips. There’s plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. The washer/dryer in the room is so convenient. I love the music it plays when a cycle is done! The pyjamas are comfortable. I like that they are a shirt and pants instead of the long, awkward nightgown that some hotels provide. I enjoyed having a smart TV in the room for YouTube.

I was excited to stay at this place because of all the raving reviews on how kind and lovely the staff were, but that was just not my experience. I felt that they were a bit impatient and not very accommodating. I stayed in a room that was handicap accessible which is great but should probably be reserved for those who need it. It was set up and two twin beds and we requested to be changed to a different room and we were OK with paying extra. They said that they didn’t have anything available, but when I looked back on Expedia, there were several rooms available. I just felt like the room was an eye sore and honestly out of the three different hotels we stayed at in Japan this was the most unappealing one.

We booked 2 bedrooms unit, the space is amazing compared to usual Japan hotel. Check in staff was unwelcoming, however the Hotel supervisor was great in the Service recovery! Location is great, just opposite Airport Express, Mcdonald is just across the street. Lawson and many eateries below hotel.

Thank you to the Fraser Namba team! I stayed here for four nights and the service was absolutely outstanding. The location is incredibly convenient—just a two-minute walk from Namba Rapit Station. I have stayed here several times over the years. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is adjacent to the subway and AirPort Express train (Nankai). The area around the hotel is great for shopping and eating. Staff is attentive and friendly. I’ll be happy to stay here again.

The hotel itself was great. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and having the washing machine in the room was a big plus on our trip. We also though that the breakfast was very good and was very convenient. We also used the kitchenette and it was nice for a change of pace. The only thing that was a negative was that we found the area around the hotel to be very noisy in the evening and overnight, particularly the sound of revving cars and motorcycles. I don't know if this was worse because we were there on a weekend and on a lower floor, but it definitely made for a less restful sleep.

Stayed at Fraser for three nights with my husband and 19 year old daughter. The lay out worked well for all. Spacious and our room divided into two separate spaces for privacy. Area was very walkable to Dotonbori area and to Osaka Castle. Shopping at your doorstep. Very clean and great breakfast. Would highly recommend!
