Stay Byparken - Self-Service Hotel

We booked a deluxe double room, but the room was very small and the double bed was also very small. The kitchenette had no cups, glasses, or any other kitchenware, and there were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. The location is very central, but be aware that there is a bar/club on the ground floor and more nightlife in the neighboring buildings. There was a lot of noise from both the nightlife and the traffic.

It was a lovely place to stay. Clean room, excellent location, clear check in check out procedure, lovely lounge to stay with coffee and tea. The only problem is there is no lift.

Excellent, clean, warm, comfortable. We stayed in a family room which was perfect for two adults and two teens. Plenty of room for us, however we also made good use of the shared lobby with some cooking facilities and coffee machine! Excellent location to explore Bergen.

Great location. Building was recently renovated with tasteful design. Another plus is the common area with a coffee machine, microwaves and a dishwasher. However, the „kitchenette“ in the room (microwave and fridge) doesn’t help if there isn’t any cutlery in the room. Also the exhaust fan is only active in the morning (waking everybody up) - so don’t shower in the evening because otherwise your bathroom stays humid until 6 am. Family room is 20 sqm (as shown in the offer) - but this includes the bathroom and the space under the sloping roof, i.e. 25% cannot be use. And last but not least: there is no elevator…
