One night stay. Fox Room a nice size with small shower room onsuite. Mattress comfortable but pillows not no give at all. Furniture a bit dated & the tub chair worn. Sited on Penrith road so early morn traffic noise from our room. 15-20 min walk into Keswick town. A very enjoyable full Cumbrian breakfast. Eldon a good host.

The room was just what I needed- sink in the room and facilities done the hall. Can be noisy when other guests arrive. Otherwise it was fine.

I couldn’t leave this place fast enough. Room was so small you could barely turn around, and was not as depicted. Parking was a nightmare! Host was not happy that we were arriving at 9 (check in close), and made sure that we knew we had inconvenienced him. Earlier I had let him know it would be evening before we would arrive and he was fine. After a long day of mishaps, we decided to grab dinner before checking in, which apparently was not the thing to do! We arrived at 9 and were treated very poorly. Perfect ending to what had already been a bad day. Left at sun up and skipped breakfast so we wouldn’t have to interact with Eldon! Worst stay in our two week trip to Great Britain.
