The staff was amazing. The amenities not so much. The Hilton has really gone downhill within the last few years. It’s disappointing, especially as kama’āina.

This was overall one of the worst stays I’ve had. The first disappointment was learning that the check-in isn’t actually where you leave your car so if you plan to leave the property for anything you have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for a tram or take a 20 minute walk through the property to even get to the valet- or your car… and it costs $50 to valet or $48 to Self Park for one night and hike all the way to where the tram will (eventually )take you to your room. Check-in is at 4 o’clock and what time does the pool bar close? 4 o’clock so if you’re only going for one night, don’t expect to have much fun at the bar by the pool. It’s supposedly non-smoking but people go out on their deck and smoke and we were smelling it morning and night. We couldn’t get out of there quick enough we were gone by seven in the morning there was nothing there for us to enjoy.
