We had a wonderful time staying at The Silk Pincushion. Judy and Dennis are the sweetest hosts, we had such a lovely time getting to chat with them over the amazing breakfasts that Judy cooked. This B&B is just a few minutes walk away from downtown Golden, we really enjoyed getting to walk around the town, through the trails nearby, and along the river. The bed was comfortable and the home has so much character! We will absolutely be staying here again and recommending this to our friends and family. Thank you so much for the lovely stay, Judy & Dennis!

What I like the most is it was everything that I saw when I saw the opening picture on Expedia, and more Judy and Dennis were so fantastic easy laid-back, Judy is a wonderful cook both mornings breakfasts were amazing, but yet easy for her to do for everyone. Love the whole Victorian feel exactly what we wanted to do. Thank you so much Judy and Dennis for a wonderful time.

This bed and breakfast was the best place I’ve ever stayed in the USA. I’ve been to all inclusive resorts and the silk pincushion did not disappoint. Dennis and Judy were a delight to be with at breakfast. Judy made wonderful scones and egg pastries. Their house is beautiful and our room was so comfortable. We felt at home. The property is walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We hiked and explored Golden, Colorado. If we come back we definitely will stay at the silk pincushion again. Thank you Dennis and Judy.

We had the best time in Golden, Co. We highly recommend The Silk Pincushion. We had the Queen Anne Suite. The owners are very friendly, nice and knowledgeable. Breakfast was fantastic each morning and it was cool to connect with the other travelers staying at the Pincushion. We would book there again if we return to Golden. Red Rock was spectacular!!

The lodging was very reasonable, though I wouldn't call it luxurious or fancy. It's homey and therefore slightly dated, but not unkept. Very relaxing place if you need to stay in the area for a few days and have a safe base if operations.

Judy and Dennis were gracious hosts. We really enjoyed talking to them each morning at breakfast. The breakfasts were impeccable. And our room and bath were clean and comfortable. We most certainly recommend The Silk Pincushion. It was our first time doing a bed and breakfast, and the experience exceeded our expectations. We would love to stay there again if we ever make it back to Golden!

We had a great time at the Silk Pincushion. It was an easy walk and easy drive to hike to the mesa or get to dinner downtown. What stood out is the breakfast and the company. They hosted and treated us to a great breakfast and the people were so friendly and easy and enjoyable to get to know. We were interested in Golden's history and the home and they were fun and impressive historians :)

Wonderful experience. Dennis and Judy are very nice hosts and I had a very good time. The house is close to both the center of Golden and the School of Mines which is a very good spot if you have to work there.

We had a wonderful time staying at The Silk Pincushion. Judy and Dennis are the sweetest hosts, we had such a lovely time getting to chat with them over the amazing breakfasts that Judy cooked. This B&B is just a few minutes walk away from downtown Golden, we really enjoyed getting to walk around the town, through the trails nearby, and along the river. The bed was comfortable and the home has so much character! We will absolutely be staying here again and recommending this to our friends and family. We had a great time at the Silk Pincushion. It was an easy walk and easy drive to hike to the mesa or get to dinner downtown. What stood out is the breakfast and the company. They hosted and treated us to a great breakfast and the people were so friendly and easy and enjoyable to get to know. We were interested in Golden's history and the home and they were fun and impressive historians :)

Very clean, hot breakfast, walkable to downtown and there is a grocery store across the street Lots of coffee available if you're a coffee drinker. The front porch is relaxing and surrounded by beautiful flowers. The couple who run the place are very friendly.

This bed and breakfast was the best place I’ve ever stayed in the USA. I’ve been to all inclusive resorts and the silk pincushion did not disappoint. Dennis and Judy were a delight to be with at breakfast. Judy made wonderful scones and egg pastries. Their house is beautiful and our room was so comfortable. We felt at home. The property is walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We hiked and explored Golden, Colorado. If we come back we definitely will stay at the silk pincushion again. Thank you Dennis and Judy.

A lovely place to stay within walking distance to downtown Golden. Judy and Dennis are wonderful hosts and breakfast was delicious each morning. Rooms are comfortable with plenty of thought put into usability and needs. Definitely recommend if looking for something outside the hotel experience.
