My girlfriend and I loved our stay here. The property is beautiful and right on the beach, rooms spacious with stunning views, and the staff was amazing! The only negative is not having any food/drink service on the property’s beach area.

I really loved the woman i was with we both enjoyed our stay! But, we where disappointed that the pool bar did not stay open longer and the restaurants where not open either we had to walk down the beach to find dinner accommodations. The propriety is very beautiful!

We had the most incredible visit. The view from our private balcony overlooked some of the resort and the entire bay. The pictures of the room didn't do it justice, absolutely gorgeous room, larger than we expected, the bed was so comfortable, outdoor shower that we loved, clean and the kitchen had the essentials if you wanted to cook. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. There are no elevators, but the staff will drive you up and down the hill on a golf cart. We had to walk up 3 floors to our room, but it wasn't an issue for us, I was too distracted by the beautiful views. We dined in the restaurant and had room service (eating on the balcony/patio under the stars was magical). Food was delicious. You definitely pay tourist prices compared to going further into town to dine, but it was worth it. We are already trying to figure out when we go back.

Staff — excellent. Food — very good. Location — amazing. But two minor quibbles. 1. Bar closes at 6 — right when I start thinking about a cocktail. There is a space above the reception that is set up like a bar but was never open the two times we stayed there. 2. Rooms are luxurious but there is no glass in the windows/doors so when it is hot (most of the time in Zihuatanejo) you have all the shutters closed for A/C so no view at all. But we had a lovely time. If you don’t care about a bar and plan to spend all your time poolside or beachside, it’s perfect!

This is our second time at this property and just like the first time last year, it did not disappoint. We stayed in villa 406. It has a full kitchen with dishwasher and washer and dryer. 3 bedrooms and 4 full baths. We were 5 adults but this villa can easily sleep 8 comfortably. The staff here is always friendly. If you have problems walking, since this property sits on the side of a hill and all rooms have some sort of ocean view, it does have lots of stairs to get from room to room and down to the pool and beach. They do offer complimentary golf cart shuttle service per request. We love this place and look forward to visiting again.

The room was nice but lighting is poor and the kitchen is laughable, a two burner cooktop, no oven and you needed to open the door to the balcony to put anyway any cookware. The balcony was large, two loungers, dining table and chairs and a plunge pool with a beautiful view of the beach and pool area. The dining in the restaurant and by the pool was reasonably priced and generally good. There was couple of broken bricks on the patio which were a trip hazard and was not attended to during our 9 night visit. We put a chair over it. So, overall a nice place in a good location but a bit dated and seems a lot like what it was 15 years ago when we last visited

We loved the beautiful ocean view room with dip pool. We also loved the cleanliness, friendliness of staff and the amazing ocean front locatation on La Ropa beach within walking distance to central Zihau. We did not love the bats in our outdoor shower. We also did not love that the hotel did not receive the Expedia rate with our reservation and therefore, we were substantiall over charged. It has taken a great deal of time and several phone calls Expedia and Hilton to sort this out.

The rooms are beautiful. The in room amenities are great. The room had a lot of bugs. They fumigated but it didn’t work. And tons of mosquitos in the room! I was miserable. My belief is because the exterior doors are more like shutter doors and allows all the mosquitos in. Taxis are an extra 30 pesos. The property is difficult to navigate . The food is just ok. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here again

I was not please with the staffs conflict resolutions. An onsite cooking class was offered and even solicited by your staff. We accepted and my wife was thrilled, until she wasn’t. They had nothing to offer. There were several other minor issues with customer service. That all being said, I would not stay at this property again.

I hope someone at property management sees this and realizes how incredibly valuable a long term amazing staff is to get returning customers. Everyone here was great but the pool staff of David, Eloy, Elvis, and Alfredo are beyond exceptional and the main reason we want to go back. Thank you for taking such good care of us, especially with my mobility issuse.

The place is beautiful, some members of the crew as Samantha and Rigo are son kind always giving and extra effort, but the property ia in maintenance and they didnt advise, the check inn was awful the room was ready until 5 instead of 3 and Carlos was not helpful at all.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property and rooms are beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. I'd like to mention Eloy and Procoro at the pool bar for excellent service. Also Hugo and Isaias at the front desk were very helpful with getting taxis and recommendations for dinners and other things. Thank you Embarc for a wonderful trip.

We usually stay in the Ixtapa hotel zone and decided to stay on the La Ropa side. So much quieter and relaxing and the scenery is so nice. The hotel is a time share property but maintained like a 5 star resort. We were 5 and shared a 2 bedroom suite with 3 full baths. Extremely comfortable and had enough space for everyone to have their space. Will definitely be back.

Hilton Zihuatanejo is an amazing property. We had an ocean view studio. The bedroom was very nice but the jewel was the huge balcony patio with dipping pool. The view was so gorgeous and peaceful. All the staff were so helpful and welcoming. Loved the swim up bar and pool right next to the beach. Several restaurants within short walk and town close enough to walk or take a short taxi ride. Definitely would return to this beautiful hotel resort!!

Fabulous location and very well maintained property. Staff were very welcoming and professional in their approach to making us feel like valued guests. Only thing that could use improvement was food. Not great. Not typical of good Mexican cooking. Otherwise would highly recommend.
