Dynasty Hotel and Suites New York LaGuardia Hotel

I'm going to be fair and say that I cannot give a full star on any of the questions asked because the hotel is being renovated. What I don't understand is why do companies open up their business when it is being renovated? It takes away from the possibility of earning higher Stars due to the construction the noise possibly the dust that may scatter while construction is on the go. It would be so much better if all the construction is done and then open up. God pity the person who has asthma and the construction is taking place on the floor there on and rented in the room next to the person. I just don't understand why it's done but I must fairly rate the hotel with a half star for each of the questions asked. The bedroom was neat clean but the curtains were shabby. I stayed on the floor where you could see outside if a person knelt down on their knees you could see right into the room I suggest that you get curtains that are black out curtains that reach all the way down to the bottom of the floor to help maintain the privacy of your customers the bathroom tile was beautiful on the floor as well as on the wall the sink was definitely beautiful and I hope it remains that way. Customer service was nothing to brag about it was very average I guess one would say. The outside is very busy the outside of this hotel it's next to the Ramada and a next to a whole lot of seafood restaurants noodle shops a lot of Asian cuisines. It de

my hope is that this hotel was actively working on improving the facilities. Outside of my window there was a rooftop that was filled with a bunch of trash bags and about 12 old dirty mattresses. Not the best view. Not sure I would go back, but I wouldn’t necessarily say it is a bad idea for someone on a budget.

Although there was a change in management in July 2026, they kept my reservation as is, so I was able to stay there. The room type I had paid for and secured at the time of booking had been changed, but they handled it flexibly. The renovations weren’t finished in time, so I couldn’t use the Wi-Fi, and half of the outlets in the room weren’t working, but that wasn’t a problem for the purpose of my stay. All the staff were kind. Once all the renovations are complete, it should be a great hotel, especially given its location.
