Excellent choice. Great location and our room (11) what a great view. bar was fantastic atmosphere and good selection of beers and wines. Restaurant was excellent nice selection of meals at a reasonable price.

Lovely hotel with a fantastic location , rooms very comfortable and clean . Excellent value for money . One side note is please allow an extra £9 per day parking fee as hotel does not have parking and you have to use beach car park opposite.

One night stay, late arrival early checkout. Great place, nice cozy pub downstairs - had tagliatelle which was good. Room comfy, warm, great, lovely bed. Nice toiletries, amenities. Left too early for breakfast but knew it would've been good just from the feel of the place. Decided to check out early doors, visit some places for work then come back at 9am for the breakfast (included). Correct decision, it was amazing. Nothing against the normal run of the mill chain pubs I tend to stay in when on the road so much, but this was refreshing and welcome change. Just a shame I my stay was so short...

We stayed at this lovely Pub in May. We had a small double which was comfortable, clean and had a Sea View. Lovely place to stay in Sennen, staff is very welcoming and we got a really nice view of the beach from our room. The room was big and comfortable, the only thing I would advice is work around the parking situation. We stayed in August and could not find a space to park to check in but we were early. So ended up going away and coming back.

This was a really welcoming hotel, staff were lovely, very helpful. We stayed in a luxury room literally overlooking the sea and view of the bay, which was wonderful. Parking is via a car park just across the road from the hotel. The cooked food and pastries at breakfast were very good. The bar also had a good vibe and also serves food in addition to the restaurant. Would stay again.

The Old Success Inn is in the most stunning location and the staff all tried hard to please . However, we thought the bedroom we booked was a deluxe room , which although looked great on first impressions, it had a few issues. Unfortunately, the bath tap dripped all day and night and you couldn’t fill the bath as there wasn’t enough water pressure. The shower wasn’t much better, especially if you have to wash your hair , it took ages to rinse. We live by the sea so are used to windows banging and dealing with that when it’s windy but the bathroom issues need to be sorted. The breakfast and evening meals were good, quite basic but cooked well. I would also suggest that if you are staying , remember to flip over your sign on the door if you need your room cleaning or fresh towels. We didn’t see it and came back to our towels still wet and piled up in the bath where we had left them at the end of the day. This was rectified quickly once we realised but just a note to self to check if you need room doing , flip your sign over hanging on the outside door. Other than that, we had a great stay and will definitely return next year but maybe stay in a different room … unless they get the tap and pressure sorted . A beautiful location and full of character.

Very enjoyable stay. Location and views are wonderful. View from room is across the Sennen white sand beach. Room was neat and well presented. Well stocked mini fridge and refreshments tray. Weather was perfect which helps.

Very clean and a really lovely room, luxurious with bathrobes. The fridge with drinks and snacks to buy was a nice touch, as were the two complimentary cans of Korev. Great shower room. Fantastic view. Couldnt ask for more. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast which has a great choice.

The room was nice until you looked. Bed mattress stained, though was covered with mattress protector. Lot of places hadn’t been dusted . Cobwebs around windows. Coffee machine, kettle and fridge only had 2 socket, so had to pull fridge out and swop plugs when wanting tea or hot chocolate. Breakfast was very well done, asked to change and brought same dish back. Waitress even said chef said send it back to customer. Very busy but no excuse. Informed person on reception that said they’d put breakfast back on our card but that wasn’t the point ! Was so looking forward to a night away. Very very disappointing

Best of all were the staff - all very welcoming and helpful, in a natural, non-corporate. Congrats to them all. Only downside was the room - number 15 - which has poor sound isolation from reception and bar. It has windows that are overlooked by the terrace so you have the noise and the lack of privacy following from that. I’ve given five stars because of the outstanding staff but I would only stay here again if I was sure to avoid that room.

Love this Inn - charming & luxurious but unfortunately has some downsides which they probably can’t fix due to the age of the building & regulations. Absolutely stunning room, the best bed I’ve ever slept in was simply amazing! Water pressure in the shower along with lack of hot water was disappointing to say the least even when used at random times. Windows are only able to open 3” which is probably some random health & safety law but again disappointing to have an amazing view spoiled. Staff are exceptional and will go out of their way to help with any queries.

The location of the hotel is great with beautiful views of Sennen Beach and surrounding countryside. Great access to the coastal path as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and cozy. My only issue was the noise in my room. I stayed in #15, which is directly behind the reception desk and I could hear guest interactions well into the evening and first thing in the morning. It was reasonably quiet from 10:30pm until 7:15am. It is an older property, so sound proofing is not so good, but the decor and amenities were very good.

I loved my stay here. It was one of my favourite stays on my trip. Tom was brilliant at check in amd was available to help when i needed. My room No1 was stunning, beautiful decor, and views of the bay. Sennen Cove is dreamy and i highly recommended it

Truly excellent overnight stay. Great pub and superb room, beautifully appointed with everything you need. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Amazing cooked breakfast in the morning as well. Absolutely nothing to find fault with.

We were able to check in early which was a nice touch, as were the complementary drinks and snacks. We ate outside in the afternoon and the burger was delicious. The room was nice until you looked. Bed mattress stained, though was covered with mattress protector. Lot of places hadn’t been dusted . Cobwebs around windows. Coffee machine, kettle and fridge only had 2 socket, so had to pull fridge out and swop plugs when wanting tea or hot chocolate. Breakfast was very well done, asked to change and brought same dish back. Waitress even said chef said send it back to customer. Very busy but no excuse. Informed person on reception that said they’d put breakfast back on our card but that wasn’t the point ! Was so looking forward to a night away. Very very disappointing

Lovely hotel with a fantastic location , rooms very comfortable and clean . Excellent value for money . One side note is please allow an extra £9 per day parking fee as hotel does not have parking and you have to use beach car park opposite.

10/10 stay. Beautiful room, stunning views, delicious food, friendly staff. February was a perfect off-season stay. Access to south west coast path with a 6mile return walk to Nanjizal beach. Would love to stay again.

The location of the hotel is great with beautiful views of Sennen Beach and surrounding countryside. Great access to the coastal path as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and cozy. My only issue was the noise in my room. I stayed in #15, which is directly behind the reception desk and I could hear guest interactions well into the evening and first thing in the morning. It was reasonably quiet from 10:30pm until 7:15am. It is an older property, so sound proofing is not so good, but the decor and amenities were very good.

This was a really welcoming hotel, staff were lovely, very helpful. We stayed in a luxury room literally overlooking the sea and view of the bay, which was wonderful. Parking is via a car park just across the road from the hotel. The cooked food and pastries at breakfast were very good. The bar also had a good vibe and also serves food in addition to the restaurant. Would stay again.

One night stay, late arrival early checkout. Great place, nice cozy pub downstairs - had tagliatelle which was good. Room comfy, warm, great, lovely bed. Nice toiletries, amenities. Left too early for breakfast but knew it would've been good just from the feel of the place. Decided to check out early doors, visit some places for work then come back at 9am for the breakfast (included). Correct decision, it was amazing. Nothing against the normal run of the mill chain pubs I tend to stay in when on the road so much, but this was refreshing and welcome change. Just a shame I my stay was so short...

Very clean and a really lovely room, luxurious with bathrobes. The fridge with drinks and snacks to buy was a nice touch, as were the two complimentary cans of Korev. Great shower room. Fantastic view. Couldnt ask for more. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast which has a great choice.

Had a lovely stay at The Old Success Inn. We booked a room with sea view and were not disappointed. The breakfast was really good and kept us going well into the day. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was really good. Only issue was the bathroom fan was really loud, however forgot to tell them this when checking out, so hopefully they will read this review. Overall thought the stay was great.

No doubt this is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we had a poor check in experience: first we were told our room wasn't ready on time and to wait; after a few minutes we were told it was in fact ready but that we hadn't paid (we had) - this took 30 minutes to check in and sort out - causing stress and with little care from staff. The room was okay, if a little run down. However, there were lovely touches including provided beach bags and towels and free beers, coffee and biscuits. We had lovely breakfast and roast dinner. The Sunday morning team were particularly great. The main issue was noise. Our room was on the edge of the outside bar - no mention of potential noise on the website, booking details, or in the hotel. And it was noisy. After a long journey, we were in the hotel room by 10pm on the Sunday, only to have loud, drunken behaviour right outside our room to the point where you could not have a conversation. We would have tried to drown out the noise with a film, but the Internet and TV signals were so poor, we only had BBC1 or 2 available. Thankfully, Monday as we stayed away till 11pm. It's a shame. There were some lovely moments. However, on the whole, we found the stay quite stressful, and not what we wanted for a rare trip away.

This hotel was more than I expected in many ways. They said they had renovated in the past 10 years and congratulations they did so well! I don’t know how it was before and our room was in the annex building so all I can tell is what I experienced in 3days. Food was very good morning and evening ( not half board) , staff was very nice from checkin till out. And a super beautiful location overlooking the ocean . This place is not like other pretty attractive fisher villages ( of course I live these, too) but all you have is ocean. I’d love to go back there again.
