The new management is working hard to improve this historic hotel. It's a big job, but they are working hard to make it happen.

Good breakfast

Very conveniently near Sight and Sounds Theater. Nice breakfast to start the day. I did not get to see the pool or the gym because we were only there for the show at the Sight and Sounds.

This proves what I don't like about Hotels.com. I have to pay up front before I even get to the property. Pictures of the place don't describe how bad conditions are at the Strasburg Clarion Inn. We checked in and the front desk said they do not clean rooms every day, in fact we requested a Monday clean and it never happened. The place is very run down and the entire outside looks like a million coats of paint on an ugly pig. The sidewalks, many being brick, are sagging and in need of replacement. The bathrooms are antique and I had to personally fix the toilet to get it to flush. The lack of daily cleaning meant garbage was piled up outside rooms everywhere. We had to walk up and ask the front desk for more toilet paper, and they authorized us one roll. They parking lot was full of glass in one area and never got cleaned up. We wanted so bad to leave and find another hotel, but I paid for 5 nights already. Anyone who reads this. Don't stay at this hotel!!!
