Comfort Inn Ogden near Event Center

No pool or hot tub available. It was a big reason why we chose that hotel.

All the amenities were closed No pool No hot tub Not even vending machines I was told there was a discount but the hotel was the same price as other hotels so with the amenities closed the hotel should have been cheaper. The breakfast was cold and stale. Overall a poor experience would not stay there again nor could/would recommend

The hotel was great other than the hot tub not working.

This property is run down and quickly falling apart. In our room, the paint was peeling, the TV and refrigerator were broken, and several small things were damaged and unprepared. Tried to use the pool and hot tub, but the hot tub had 6 inches of foamy unknown chemical covering it, the pool smelled so strongly of chlorine. I almost needed a gas mask, in the room that it’s in is literally falling into the pool. Just beware this is no longer a nice hotel.

Our check-in was smooth and fast; the clerk was friendly, and then when we asked the hours for the hot tub, we were told the pool and hot tub were closed for cleaning! The sole purpose for me booking this hotel reservation was the hot tub for my granddaughter's birthday present trip! Other hotels showed "seasonal" or "outdoor" pools and spas, but this one was indoor and showed available, until our check-in. What a disappointment!! All else was fine, nice room, comfy bed and pillow, good shower. The breakfast was the usual fare: waffles, cereal, yogurt, eggs and sausage, plus juice and coffee. We don't drink coffee and when we asked about hot chocolate, they were all out - really!?? Sadly, the score I am giving is poor. I couldn't change my hotel reservation at so late in the game, but was truly disappointed that features so big as a pool and hot tub were not taken care of in better time than to be closed during the Christmas holidays - bad timing on Comfort Inns part!

This hotel is comfortable, up to date. Bed was comfortable. The hot tub was nice. It location is convenient to the freeway but it’s entrance is goofy,and the highway is noisy if you open the window. Bella’s Mexican restaurant across the street is very good. Breakfast at the hotel is pretty basic.

The pool and hot tub are out of order.

The staff were all very friendly. The pool was nice and warm. My family also really enjoyed the breakfast which included a mixture of cold (cereal, bagels) and warm (waffles, sausage, eggs) foods. We really enjoyed our stay!

The space is nice and the service is always solid. The facility is getting older and they were working on the water so the water was brown in the morning but was clear when we arrived.

Room was little dirty. The restroom had dirty light switches.

Missing one of the privacy curtains, other one was ripped. Stain on center of comforter. Walls had smudges.

The staff was very friendly, but thats as far as the pleasantries go. This place is run down and kinda dirty. It had a funk to it both in and out of the room. The bathroom smelled like mildew and the carpets were kinda gross. The window was missing a curtain and the ones that were on it were pretty dirty. There wasnt much in the way of blankets on the bed. The beds were very firm, which is expected in most hotels. Finally, there was a loud high pitched squeeking coming from something either above us or the next room over. It kicked on and off, like a machine that needed lubricant. Overall, I feel let down over this place. And it wasn't cheap either.

Pillows and sheets smelled dirty. I question if the sheets and pillow cases were even clean or not. The arms of the chair in our room was just caked with filth and should thrown out. It was so dirty it was almost black. The continetal breakfast was bad. Just some gross looking egg pucks and sausage patties and small selection of cereal. If we had not been so tired when we arrived I would have made a complaint regarding the filthy room and tried to get some money back. Would not stay again.

The water in the facility was coming out brown. Big problem

Got to hotel-appears it’s in an industrial area check not friendly. Room smelled like dog piss as soon as we walked in. Daughter dropped a hair tie under bend; bent to pick it up. What she pulled from under bed was a petrified piece of dog poop!’ Never again!!

Large clean room in quiet location .

This place is not for light sleepers. Could hear plenty of people walking and doors slamming. The AC unit did not have an option for continual noise to use for whiteout noise. And it would pop on and off and it was loud when it did. I did not sleep well at all.

The facility is nice. There are problems with attention to detail. The bathroom fixtures have bare bulbs. The toilet screams when it refills after a flush. Several lamps with two sockets have only one bulb. The doorstop has been pounded into the wall and ineptly repaired. The tv remote is essentially unusable, probably due to almost dead batteries. There are screw holes in the bathroom wall where, apparently, an appliance that didn’t work was simply taken down. Recommend the use of a room condition check list and a system for dealing with discrepancies to avoid a slide into a state of disrepair

The room didn’t look like the pictures, seemed the pictures are older and not up to date

Our AC died right at bedtime. At one point I thought it was going to catch on fire. We had to open our window and the truck lot next door was very loud. Also, the guy running breakfast would only put out a few eggs/meat at a time, making it difficult to get breakfast in a rush as he was cooking it.

It was very windy while we were there which revealed that the windows were very poor quality. With any hard gust of wind the windows shook and made a lot of noise. The AC unit also had a gap that let in a lot of cold air so the heat had to run the whole time. We would have asked for a different room but by the time we realized the issue it was a bit too late.

Window coverings with holes and were torn and failed to close completely, air conditioner only blew into curtains leaving room hot even with air on, hallway carpets dirty, entire hotel rundown and terribly dated. Comfort Inn used to be better. I regret staying there.

The bed was slanted, the ac noisy, light came in behind curtains and the shower spigot leaked.

The gentleman that was at the desk was fantastic. I called the hotel because I couldn’t remember where my reservation was and he was very very friendly and so helpful. He remembered me when I got to the hotel. We will stay at your hotel every time we go through Ogden.

I travel a lot and have stayed in many different places throughout the USA. I leave this review in all honesty as I have never been treated so poorly by a worker and come to find out the worker is the owner Rick Patel. (Thank you kind employee that told me his name) He is extremely rude and made my wife and grandchildren very uneasy as He unleashed a verbal assault on us for using a door to go outside of the cafe and told us we couldn’t use that door very aggressively and that it was for “emergency use only” when it’s just a regular door not labeled such. He was very angry because there was a chair outside and he blamed us. This was not the kind of experience I have ever endured at a Comfort Inn. He was extremely rude to us and had absolutely no manners. If there is anyplace better for him to be it would be at home where an owner should be. The rest of the staff were very nice and polite, they even apologized for his unreasonable behavior. I would stay here again but Rick Patel should do what is best for his business and stay out of the front operations of the business when it comes to customers. He should be ashamed of his actions and learn manners. I will make myself available for any reasonable compensation for such a harsh experience.

Room next doors alarm went off @ 5:00am, our phone in our room didn’t work. Left at 6:00am alarm still going off. Front desk was no help

We really wanted fu check in early as we had lots of plans with family. The front desk guy went out of his way to get us in early so we could go play ago day

I will never stay at a comfort inn again. My last two experiences were not good but this last trip was the final straw. When I booked online I booked a king bed with a sofa bed for me and my two daughters. When I got there I wasn't allowed to stay in the room I booked because the room was meant for 2 adults, and I had one adult and two children. The breakfast was horrible, there was a chunk of something in my coffee and yet this wasn't even the worst part. The last night we were swimming when another family came to swim but they weren't allowed because they brought pool floaties, and a person wasn't listed on the room. Which the Hispanic family was very quick to not use the toys and to pay the extra money for the third adult, but even with them complying the front desk lady insisted she was being treated and called the cops on them. There was no confrontation and she was very quick to call the cops. I was honestly in shock so when I asked what the problem was trying to help she also told the cops she was being harassed, and my key card to my room was deactivated. The racism towards the family was so blatantly clear and sad to watch and for my room to not be accessible, that had my kids medical supplies in, just for sticking up for the family is sickening. Needles to say comfort inn has the absolute worst customer service and hospitality and I will not be back

We had a great stay at this Comfort Inn. It was very clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating. It was far enough away from Ogden to be in a nice quiet area but could be to downtown within a 8-10 minute drive. There were also several different dining options close by for easy access. Highly recommend!!

Only hotel between Ogden and northern Utah, so well located. Also clean and comfortable.

At least 7 restaurants within walking distance. Nice staff. Quick check-in.

Conveniently off the highway. Easy access to food and gas.

Easy access from freeway. Lots of eating choices. No area to walk outdoors - industrial and busy road.

Great location, close to great food and the Tesla chargers were practically across the road.

This hotel was right off the I-15 which made it easy to get to. There was great parking as well. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't anything extra special but the food was hot and tasty.

They were out of Kleenex the entire 5 days. Breakfast was same every day but the food was hot and good!

This was the perfect stay after driving for 12 hrs. The staff were the best and very accommodating. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The room was spacious and very clean. Lots of dining options around hotel. Great breakfast as well included. Will stay again and highly recommend staying here.

It is easy on/off the interstate and close to where my business was conducted. The carpeting in the hall ways to the rooms was filthy. My toliet was dirty. The tile in my bathroom was loose and poor fitting. To top it off: the breakfast was the worst I have ever had at ANY hotel in the WORLD. That puts you in very bad company, folks.
