Decent for a one night stay. It’s close to the square and walking distance from all main attractions; location is the best thing about it. Unfortunately we were not advised before hand that parking needs to be reserved for a reduced fee. We had to park in the underground nearby for a larger fee. The room had a safe but was missing a battery; when we received a new battery, the safe still didn’t work. The bathroom is tiny. Overall, good for a quick stop but would t recommend for multiple nights due to lack of comfort. Service was okay.

This was a great location and I liked that they had sodas and water for sale in the lobby. My daughter enjoyed her massage as well. Loved the A/C. The shower head kept coming off and water would go all over the bathroom floor. Would help if there was a door with the shower. Bed was super comfortable. No kettle in the room and breakfast would have been nice if a little more was offered.

My husband and I only stayed at Hotel Emonec for 1 night. It was a small, basic hotel with no frills but suited us fine. The hotel itself has a weird layout and we had to carry our suitcase up 3 flights of stairs and through a maze of corridors (with no lift). It was fine for us, but I imagine those with mobility issues would struggle. Also, there was no luggage rack in our room which was a struggle as we had to lay our opened suitcase in the middle of the floor and walk around/over it. However, in terms of location this hotel is excellent! It is bang in the centre of Ljubljana's main streets. We appreciated being so close to all the attractions and restaurants.

Very nice stay and in the heart of the walking area only streets. Only downside is the parking. Be aware that you will need to park at parking garage. One is 45 Euros a day and is about a block away. The other parking garage is about 8 min walk and is 13 Euros a day. Very comfortable beds!

Das Hotelzimmer war klassisch aufgeteilt - 2 Zimmer, Schlafzimmer und Bad. Beide Zimmer waren sehr klein bzw. eng und man konnte sich in beiden Räumen kaum bewegen ohne irgendwo anzustoßen. Was uns aber wirklich extrem gestört hat war die Parksituation. Es gibt beim Hotel keine Möglichkeit zu parken (selbst zum Abladen des Gepäcks nicht). Direkt neben dem Hotel (ca. 2 min zu Fuß) gibt es eine Tiefgarage - die kostet aber 40-50€ pro 24 Stunden. Das Hotel bietet jedoch eine Vergünstigung (12€ pro 24 Stunden) einer Park-Garage an, die haben wir dann auch genutzt. Allerdings ist diese Park-Garage gute 8-10 min zu Fuß entfernt. Das war mit dem ganzen Gepäck recht nervig. Fazit: für eine Nacht ist das Hotel ok, aber wenn man länger in Laibach bleiben will sollte man entweder ein größeres Zimmer buchen oder ein anderes Hotel aufsuchen.

Needs a good make over. Staff helpful. No lift so be sure you get ground floor otherwise be prepared for 30 steps up. Family room spacious. TV doesn't work.

Hôtel bien situé mais… chambre sale avec toile d’araignée au-dessus du lit, ventilation tenant par des scotch, cabine de douche sale, sans pommeau en hauteur et pas de table dans la salle de bain pour poser ses affaires. Le pire : une climatisation qui a inondé la chambre et qui a goûté jusqu’à environ 2h du matin… nous avons dormi avec une bassine en plein milieu de la chambre et l’hôtel nous a dit que c’était de notre faute parce qu’on avait sûrement laissé la fenêtre ouverte ce qui est faux puisque la chambre etait au rez-de-chaussée ! Aucune ristourne ne nous a été proposée ! C’est une honte !!

L'hôtel est composé de plusieurs bâtiments disposés autour d'une cour. Nous avions la chance d'être dans un bâtiment plus récent, à l'étage 1/1, avec une vue magnifique sur le château. Merci ! Ideal location in the old town. Very clean. Reception staff very helpful - let us borrow a charger when our luggage was lost in transit by klm. Breakfast great value. Only issue was that the air conditioning was not very powerful meaning the room was hot.

Parto dal presupposto che l'hotel è in pieno centro a Lubiana e anche il parcheggio con cui sono convenzionati non è troppo lontano. Noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di trovare quasi sempre alla reception un ottimo dipendente che parlava benissimo italiano e che ci ha aiutato in tutto e per tutto ma mi dispiace assegnare voti così bassi a causa della pulizia della camera che va richiesta a causa del covid (prima volta che lo sento dire in vita mia) e per la doccia che va bene solo se siete alti 70 cm o senza gambe. Onestamente da un 3 stelle con prezzi da 3 stelle e non da ostello mi aspetto un servizio migliore

Excellent location. Stayed twice as a family of 4 and had very different rooms each time. Both fine, but second room on the ground floor was MUCH larger which was great with teenage kids. Good value compared to other accommodation we found in Slovenia.

Great location and quiet in the evenings for sleep. The negative would be bed quality and bedding that was not comfortable and somewhat scratchy. While the hotel provides breakfast, the dinning area is warm and the selection was minimal and not very appealing.

The location of this hotel is perfect. The room had high ceilings and the bathroom was huge. The room was too cold when we walked in. There was an inverter heater and it took us the whole night to heat up the place.

Firstly, theres one big benefit of this hotel, which is its great location in the centre of Ljubljana and you’re within walking distance for everything. That said, the hotel disappoints in all other areas. The rooms are extremely small, frayed at the edges and the walls are very thin so you can hear when people walk by or close doors. The beds are very uncomfortable (you only get own really flat pillow so prepare for a sore neck), the shower temperature fluctuates and the A/C unit was extremely noisy. Despite the convenient location, I can’t recommend for anyone to stay here.

The location was great and the room was very clean. The other guests were noisy and talking loudly coming and going and doors bang easily.. However my main problem with this hotel is that you have to hold the shower head. I prefer to stand under a shower, so this was an issue for me. Great location and fine for a night or two..

Does exactly what it says on the advert really. Basic and not expensive, in the perfect location. I’d stay again due to the proximity to everything you want in the city. But rooms are very basic, small, and bathrooms aren’t great. Staff not particularly helpful or welcoming. But I suppose what can you expect for 3 star.

Our stay here was amazing - when we arrived, the concierge helped us by letting us use his phone as my girlfriends luggage was lost when we came in on the bus. On checkout, we had a 2 hour window until we left Ljubljana, and the concierge kindly let us keep our luggage in the secured room and an extra important bag behind the desk with her. Their kindness in that stressful time was very much appreciated, and the hotel itself was great. The room was very spacious with and extremely close all amenities. 10/10! Aidan & Emily

The best thing about Emonec Hotel is the location which is in the heart of Ljubljana, just off Preseren square. It makes visiting Ljubljana city very possible on foot. You are also surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants outside your hotel and long the river. The bedrooms are in separate buildings but all near each other and it's quite private. The room was clean but compact, perfect for a few days in Ljubljana.

Just a one night stay after a longer stay in Slovenia. Can recommend Hotel Emonec due to it amazing location. Just be aware that taxies will drop you off on the corner on the square due to traffic limitations. We had a family room for four, and it was spacious with excellent beds.

I like the location very quiet in pedestrian super city center. We were group of 9 people, we appreariated to sit downstairs at social room, where is also microwave oven and electrical kettle. Some friends from group had breakfest and were very satisfied.

This is a great place for families and we enjoyed staying in family room for 5 that is walking distance from everywhere in centre of wonderful Ljubljana. The hotel is excellent value for families. Breakfast for 5 Euros was also good value. Friendly staff and place to store luggage.

Sin duda lo mejor de este hotel fue su ubicacion, que por su precio no podia ser mejor. Me dieron una habitacion individuak decentita, pero rel baño era tipo cabina minúscula. Cuando llegue no tenia jabon en la ducha y no lo pusieron hasta el segundo aviso. Desayune solo una vez pero el desayuno era bsdtante escuálido. El ultimo dia no hicieron la habitacion. Viejo pero reformado, se descansa bien por la noche

It was an easy walk from the bus station and in the heart of the old part of the city. The staff was welcoming and answered all our questions. We ate breakfast each day (for 5 euro each) and felt it was adequate. Our only complaint was that you can hear outside noise easily and our room faced onto the entrqnce where people gathered. Overall, it was fine!
