Bromley View Inn

Great location for skiing Stratton. Comfortable bed. Lounge in the bar area was nice. Would have liked the fireplace functioning mid-week (only had a pilot light going midweek, fully functioning on the weekend)

Cozy inn, kids liked playing pool in the common area. Nice gas fireplace and Tv. Great breakfast. Close to several ski areas. Free coffee all day!

Very good breakfast for a continental. Food fresh. Innkeeper was excellent when she was there. Limited parking. Very clean. Very pleasant. Only complaint is jacuzzi not working and not sure if we could have used fire pit.

It was nice that they had a pool table in the common area.

This was such a nice lodge! I appreciate how clean & comfortable the room was. It was a self check-in that provided easy access that came with a list of instructions & all of the things that are available at the lodge. The common room was large along in a cozy set-up with a fire place/ tv/ pool & plenty of couches. Even though the room came with a small fridge, there was two large refrigerators in the common room & dining area. To top it off, the hot tub was great!

We had a lower-level room and could hear the guests above us a bit. Our room was a reasonable size, with a small bathroom and a whirlpool tub and shower in the room itself. it was clean and comfortable enough and had a rustic charm. I would say it was a good value for the price. It was convenient to our destination and was right on the road to Bromley. The view was nice, there were chairs and a deck outside, free pool table in the lounge, a nice tv in our room, free internet, breakfast, and a keurig coffee machine available all the time. Parking was easy. During high season, I believe they run a bar in the lounge, but it was just a nice space when we were there during the summer.

Very cool place. Situated close to Stratton, Mount Snow and Okemo (and Bromley of course). Chill apres ski bar, good for families and adults, and solid free breakfast. Under new management, who are hands on and take good care of the place and their guests.

Bromley View Inn was easy to locate. The facility was very clean. My room was comfortable. There were activities i.e. billiards(pool), exercise equipment, & a hot tub available at no extra charge. It was off season and the bar was not in service. Check-in was easy. The breakfast was continental with all fresh offerings. Overall I was very pleased with the facility & what they offered!

This is such a cool spot to relax in the Green Mountains. Conveniently located 15 minutes from Downtown Manchester, the building is located within the shadow of multiple mountains. Check In - We arrived at midnight and there was a key waiting for us with directions to the room. It could not have been easier! Hotel - The inn is a little dated and there are some minor things that could use some paint and repairs but for the most part, it was fine overall. Room - We stayed in the family suite with our two kids and we had more than enough room. Breakfast - Free breakfast was served every morning and was simple (bagels, toast, muffins, juice and coffee) but was great for a family that can easily spend $50 or more on breakfast every day at a restaurant. Amenities - There is a lovely hot tub on the deck that overlooks a mountain and that was the highlight for us. What a great way to spend an hour. The lounge area is simple but nice with a fireplace, pool table and games.

Carpets were stained, bathroom fan came on with the light and was deafening, the AC would randomly make a horrible noise (right above the bed) for a minute or so and stop, so not a good night’s sleep. No one on duty at any point to help. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. Not one gram of protein in the breakfast options. So it was not the worst, but not likely to return unless there are upgrades. And maybe some eggs 😬

When we checked in at night, there was a key and a sheet of instructions on the desk apparently that’s how they did it for everybody as there were many sheets and keys on the desk. So did not see anybody. We did find our room it was very, very dark with one window that had a broken shade over it. There was no place to put luggage. Absolutely no view. There was a doorthat couldn’t be opened to go outside to the Jacuzzi, which was broken. We were told in this cover letter not to adjust anything as far as temperature, but our room got down to 61°. Bare floor and we were freezing when we did call for help, they did respond and it warmed up 5°. The toilet was dirty under the rim and I did get somebody who finally came and cleaned it. We literally only saw the two people/ managers for maybe a total of 10 minutes during our three nights stay. There is a shower inside of the bathtub inside of the room right next to the bed and you have to crawl over the bath base which is about 8 - 12 inches wide and not easy to step in and out of and there’s no handrails of any kind. We stayed because I had prepaid two nights and the bed was comfortable. Again, I think the rooms on the main floor and top floors probably had a nice view and a sunny window. That probably would’ve made a huge difference in my opinion of this place.No housekeeping of any kind. There were some extra towels and toilet paper on a stand in the hallway between room so we could get that. Most disappointing.

Great views of Bromley Mountain as the name suggests. Unfortunately there was a fruit fly infestation in my room. Thar made the stay a bit challenging. The breakfast was also fairly limited, no hot food except waffles but they were rubbery.

Old needs a good cleaning and a weeks worth of maintenance. Shower/tub was in the middle of the room, yes the dead center middle, hopefully you are traveling with very a close companion. Shower/tub caulking was discolored, window blinds draped over the windows, room smelled moldy. Nice location just needs a bunch of cleaning and repairs.

Not a bad place but shower curtains and shower needed deep cleaning. Bathroom very small and toilet in awkward position.

Lots of character in this place, nice view in the off seasons. A room with two queens and a king is really nice for the motorcycle trips with friends

The property was in a great location for us since we were attending plays in Dorset and Weston. We explored the area over to Manchester, down to Bennington and the other way to Weston. However, the room we had (4) had a tv that wouldn't turn on with the remote. The staff person said, "oh I should have put a note on it." Yes, you should have. And when we accidentally turned it off with the wrong button the same staff person answered the phone (it was at night) from home. The person tried to walk us through regaining the picture but the line hung up before we got it going and when I tried to call back, I got the answering machine. Apparently there are no staff on the property overnight. The worst thing, tho, was the bed. Not only was it so tall that the room included a step stool to get onto it, it was hard as a rock. Horrible. And the pillows were king sized. We found one regular in the dresser. But it made for miserable sleeping.

The room we were first assigned was not very pleasant. We spoke with the night attendant and worked to find us a different room. That room was very different and much more comfortable. In all the stay turned out to be pleasant.

The chalet is older, but quaint. Plenty of areas to rest, and relax. It was clean and comfortable. Our only issue was our floor sloped toward the head of the bed, which we just put our heads at the foot of the bed. Beds were comfortable- staff was friendly. We will be back.

There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. The entire staff leaves at 5 pm. No one answers the telephone. There was no free TV in the room. You needed a code or have a subscription to Roku to watch television.

This is a neat space in a scenic area which provided good value. I'd certainly stay again as well as recommend the place to others. As I'd selected to pay in person, I found it off putting that I wasn't able to do so and that I had my card charged without prior notice. It was also concerning that there was no way listed online to call ahead to talk with staff.

The Bromley View Inn had a very euro flair, i.e., self check-in/check-out, no daily in-room housekeeping services, and various international guests. We really loved our stay in the Adirondack room. It was a perfect size, quiet, and comfy. The Inn had a bar that was not open for the length of our 4 day stay. The 7a-9a breakfast was hard for us to make, but we did get to try it our last day and found it very good with a nice selection of fresh foods. The Inn’s location was perfect and allowed us to take several day trips. We enjoyed the fall foliage, wonderful warm weather, and amazing views. We are looking forward to returning soon.

This is a fantastic Inn-style lodging close to a lot of skiing, shopping, and dining in Southern VT. One of the Owners, Sky, we spoke with in the mornings was more than generous and kind with recommendations for the local area and being available for anything we needed for our rooms. The weekend we happened to stay, there was a large group of families that were having some sort of group trip that booked a large amount of the rooms. Children running the hallways, treating the common areas, bar, fireplaces, hot tub, pool table, and seating areas in the bar room like they were all there just for them. No consideration for other guests. Essentially made the common areas reserved for their use only. Little disappointing, but it was nothing to do with the Inn itself, other than not having a presence at nights to maybe speak with them to remind them, this is a shared space for all guests.

My wife and I have been going to Bromley View for 14 years. We have now introduced it to our children ages 8 and 12. They adore it. It’s charming, clean, and the staff is wonderful. Sky and Erin are gracious hosts. It’s close to Manchester for shopping and dining and close to Bromley ski resort and Stratton ski resort. Magic mountain is close by as well. You can’t go wrong here. This is a down to earth, cozy inn with great hosts and great rooms with all the little quirks of an older building. If you want uppity excess then go to the Equinox in Manchester, but honestly those uppity places are boring. Stick with the true Vermont inn experience and book a stay at the Bromley View Inn.

I received some type of bites on my legs from my bed. I hope I do r have bed bugs. I’m going to an urgent care for follow up. The towels are horrible. The woman who tended to breakfast was rude and abrupt. She was only nice to certain people.

Perfect location. Stayed here overnight while on motorcycle trip. Definitely recommend. Quiet place with beautiful surroundings. Good breakfast in morning.

Quiet and beautiful area. Breakfast good with a variety of buffet items. Facility is an older ski lodge. Clean and a nice shared living space. Some exterior maintenance needs however we like the quaintness. Onsite person friendly and helpful. Our second off season visit.

Smallish, quiet ski lodge off season. Felt homey with great views of the green mountains surrounding. Self-service but that was okay. Great value for the money. Comfortable. Not many food options nearby in the off season (summer) so have dinner before you arrive or bring your own.

Would not come back. Pictures are not accurate. This is a worn out facility with minimal staff. No one at front desk, saw only a grumpy breakfast person during our stay. Breakfast was a soggy muffin and weak coffee. Shower water pressure was ridiculous.

It was a a mother daughter road trip. We liked the location, cleanliness and good breakfast.

The Bromley View Inn has a nice rustic feel to it. We enjoyed our stay. It has a skiing theme, which makes sense, as it literally has a view of the Bromley ski area. Beautiful multi-purpose lounge area. Situated in a beautiful area. The breakfast waffles were amazing, from homemade batter, real butter, and local real maple syrup. Organic good coffee too. We would go back
