The treadmill in the gym did not work. Elevator button on second floor did not work. Breakfast displayed as unappetizing. Management is allowing this property to decline. It is not consistent with Marriot standards.

Should be informed that the hot tub in the pictures no longer exists. Phone in room was broke, also the TV volume was stuck. Bedding was mismatched and not great. Overall, overpriced for what your getting.

The website said it had a hot tub by the indoor pool. That was misleading because there was not and that was the main reason why I booked the hotel. Or else I would have not stayed there.

It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast had plenty of options, it was better than most hotel breakfasts. The pool had plenty of clean towels available. The indoor pool water was very cold but otherwise nice. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Pretty nice hotel, in what appears to be a decent area. Property starting to show it's age a little but, nice overall. Indoor pool is nice but, no longer have a hot tub as shown on website. Room is nice and has plenty of amenities. Staff is friendly and helpful. While able to be seen from the road ... not the easiest to get into/out of as, it sits behind a couple of smaller buildings on the corner of US 31 and Cahaba Valley Rd. I-65 is close by. Plenty of places to eat and stores to shop. Only here for one night but, enjoying so far ☺

Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The issue was the rooms. We were welcomed with a strong smell of mold, which was found in the bathroom. Our mattress was awful, and patch work in the wall was clear they’ve had damaged. We were the for a hockey tournament, so all rooms in the area were booked.

We stay here frequently. Never had a bad stay until now. Piles of hair in the bathroom as if someone cut their hair but room was cleaned so not sure how that came to be. Guest threw up during the breakfast in lobby and the vomit stayed on the floor for more than 30 min until the cleaning person arrived with a carpet shampoo machine. Pretty gross.

The staff greeted us as soon as we arrived. The check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean; however, our room smelled like old dirty wet socks. Not typical of the Fairfield Inns we have stayed in before.

The hotel was ok. We stayed for Thanksgiving and did not receive housekeeping until the 3rd day of our stay. My wife and I had to ask for towels because they did not do housekeeping services on Thanksgiving Day. Of course, I understand it is a holiday, but in the service industry, you still have to work. Also, the front desk staff did not seem to know when housekeeping services was provided which was confusing because that should be something that is standard for their hotel, and a simple piece of information to provide. Overall, it was just an ok stay. Doubt I will stay again.

Enjoyable stay. My room was a bit worn - the wallpaper was starting to peel and the bathroom door would not close all the way. But it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast could be improved, but was consistent with other places I have stayed.

The front desk staff was great - very friendly and helpful. The wooden floor of the room above me was not great, and I had to listen to hundreds of footsteps from 0515 to 0545 - not fun at all. The AC motor was also very loud.

Our room was very nice and spacious. We had a King Studio. The bathroom was very spacious as well. Plenty of room on the vanity put your toiletries out. I would highly recommend staying there.

On Thursday evening, I arrived a day earlier than my reservation. The hotel was booked due to a local concert. Tyler secured a Fairfield Inn hotel nearby for me. I stayed at Fairfield Inn Pelham on Friday/Saturday. Tyler and Ryan were superb and most helpful with directions and a later check in. Thanks Tyler and Ryan.

I drove from FL as a stopping point here. I was greeted by Jazmine at the front desk. She was very welcoming and pleasant. Got me checked in quickly and got me into my room. Room was very clean and inviting. I got a good nights rest here.

I payed for a King bed and we got a Queen bed. I asked why did we set a Queen instead of. king the manager told me they over booked. It was our fault for that problem. I told her I payed 2 months in advance. She said it didn’t matter. I felt like if I paid for a king I should’ve gotten a king bed.

Arrived around 11 pm and had notified the hotel I would be arriving late. There was no one at the counter to check me in. Another customer was waiting for her room. She had checked in and gotten key. When she got to her room the beds were not even made. The check in clerk had left the front counter to go clean this ladies room. I had to wait several minutes until someone had called for the manager to come to the hotel and help out.

Upon check-in I was greeted with such kindness and laughter, it made for a great end to such a hectic day. Tisha and Shay were very personable and made me feel right at home. It was late so I wanted it to be a quick process and they made sure check-in was fast and smooth. Thanks ladies!

My sister & i stayed here to attend a concert at Oak Mountain Amphitheater. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the Amphitheater. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff went above and beyond.

Property was close to many different restaurants, Walmart, mall etc..downside pool wasn't available for a couple of hours and had to ask front desk for towels was a lil downer....also the coffee in lobby was cold. In the room the shower had hair and a dirty towel left on shower head.

The only issue we had was that there wasn’t anyone at the desk when we went to check out, and some breakfast items (bagel and yogurt) were not available. Other than that, our room was clean and bed was comfortable. Elevators needed a vacuum, but we didn’t have to wait a long time for one to arrive. Staff was friendly at check-in and breakfast. Overall a very nice place to stay.
