Wonderful stay with my parents. Staff was friendly and helpful- moved my parents to a larger downstairs room on request. Very safe. Central location -Walkable to all of Antigua’s sights. No restaurant on site but 24/7 coffee/tea was much appreciated. Too cold to use the pool (we don’t see anyone else use it either) rooms are noisy from the loud bar next door but that’s the only downside. Recommended.

This is a beautiful property, the room was huge. I enjoyed the pool and the sauna.

Nice hotel, great area, close to town centre Pool and sauna, great view too! Unfortunately No fridge in the room, so we had warm drinks at all times, you can ask for ice though. Also I asked to order breakfast as they offer breakfast on the website, but been told they don’t serve breakfast Good hotel overall for few nights stay.

The Hotel is great. Parking is 3 blocks away other than that. Location is perfect!

Room is ok, it could be better, pool and pool area needs maintenance. No Restaurant in the hotel, no parking.

Great location right by the main plaza and close to everything. We had room 7 and had no problem with the noise from the discoteca next door. Helpful staff, great views of the volcano from the pool, and picturesque grounds combined with location and price made it a very satisfying stay. would highly recommend it.

What a gem! Nice, spacious rooms, pool and sauna. Friendly, welcoming, feels luxurious. Pity there’s no parking or breakfast on offer. But, I’ll stay there again and highly recommend it.

Very nice central location, easy access to walking to Antugua sites and most important locations. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, clean, no bugs, I absolutely loved my stay and will stay again. There is a club next door which gets loud on the weekend but it never bothered me. It may bother some people. The hotel tried hard to make people as comfortable as possible.i can't what to return. The pool was cleaned daily I believe. Has coffee and tea from 7am-10pm The safe is in a small end table. I would prefer an actual safe but it isn't a deal breaker at all. I never lost anything and staff was very respectful of the do not enter the room sign. I give it 10 stars to be honest. Thank you so much for making my trip so pleasant.

Great looking property. Close to shopping, food, central park. Staff was very helpful. Only issue I found was internet access only available in open areas due to extremely thick walls.

En las amenidades del hotel o lo que ofrecia era el estacionamiento Disponible. nunca decia q era con cobro o peor. q no era en el mismo hotel. en la resepcion se limitaron a decir no hay parqueo. no nos dieron una opcion o referencia de donde buscar el estacionamiento. el Hotel lindo y agradable. pero menos mal llegue temprano y pude buscar opcion de estacionamiento

The room is so small you can lay in bed and put your feet on the wall. There's nowhere to put luggage and nowhere to hang up clothes. There's a disco tech next door that makes the walls vibrate. The sheets were dirty and the bed was rock hard.

La habitación bonita son casas antiguas pero muy bien conservadas, limpias Es muy céntrico el hotel, puedes caminar al parque desde donde se aprecian vistas hermosas del volcán. Muy recomendable

Knowing we would arrive early, we arranged to store our bags until check in. We dropped our bags and returned around 1pm, intending to sit at the pool and have a drink while we waited. When we got back, our bags were still sitting in the lobby- not behind the front desk or in a secure area. We got to the pool, but found out after changing that there wasn't a bar. There was a small refrigerator with some drinks in it, but we didn't see it on our way in and the receptionist didn't mention it when we asked for pool towels and obviously would be waiting a while. Between not having anything to drink and the pool being too cold to swim in, it was a waste of time. We could see our room from where we sat, and after about an hour of seeing no activity in or around it, we checked with the front desk again. We were finally let into our room. It was a decent size and mostly clean with the exception of the bathroom garbage. A hotel that directs guests to put their used toilet paper in the garbage rather than flushing it should be more thorough in making sure it is emptied between guests. Unfortunately, it was difficult to appreciate much after this. Toiletries were limited to soap and shampoo. The "cable TV" literally was ONE channel. The beautiful stained glass door and surrounding wall let so much light into the room it was difficult to fall asleep. It also did not feel safe since you could see everyone walking past the glass door. Poor value for the price. Staff wasn't even friendly.

Staff members at the hotel were helpful and kind. However, the room had a musty smell that never dissipated, and the noise from the nearby bar was loud. Ear plugs and white noise machine come in handy if you're staying there. The pool was nice, as was the location of the hotel. It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge for storing food and drinks. An air purifier or dehumidifier would also help to combat the damp, stagnant air.

The place was nice and quaint (not quiet). The pool was excellent. It was clean! They offer coffee and tea 24 hours a day. The room was clean, the sheets smelled clean, we were 3 people and the place was large enough. There is a TV in the room with 2 remote controls one to turn on the TV, the other to change the channels. There is little explanation on how to switch to streaming services which they claim we had access to, but that was not a deal breaker, I was there to rest, not to watch TV. They go you separate towels to use the pool you get those at the reception and you must return those at the reception. We didn’t use the sauna but if you do, you must alert the reception 30 min. Ahead of time for it to be ready. No extra charge for that. The staff was extremely friendly, and helpful. They informed us of the locations we were interested in visiting. Keny, Heidi, and Ale were excellent also the other gentleman that had the night shift was friendly. Nosie: there is a group of bars almost next door so you can hear it late at night. Not a problem for me bus something to keep in mind. Food: welcome basket you must pay for any item you consume (snacks, water, wine). Also, restaurant is 5 blocks away and opens at 10am, not convenient. We didn’t go. Security box: it’s a drawer in a nightstand, didn’t look safe at all, easy to open w/o they key. Wished they actually had a real safety box. Overall a good experience, we felt safe in that hotel.

We had a lovely stay in Antigua with a beautiful view right from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable, and we appreciated having plenty of towels and blankets provided. A couple of things to note: there are no elevators, which makes sense given the age of the property, but it was a bit of a challenge carrying our luggage up to the top floor. The room itself was a decent size, but the shower, bathroom, and closet were extremely small—uncomfortable for a family of four. Overall, it was a good hotel, but for our family’s needs, we would likely choose a place with a little more space if we return to Antigua

It is a cute little boutique hotel, however the bedroom and bathroom are essentially one large room. W/C had saloon type doors with stained glass so that whoever is in the bedroom can see and hear who is in the bathroom. There is no A/C which I guess is not uncommon in Antigua. Also the beds were very uncomfortable. Sleeping on the floor might have been softer.

The property is absolutely stunning and perfectly captures the charm of Antigua. I was lucky to be given Room 15, the only one with a private balcony overlooking the street, with Volcán Pacaya visible to the left. Waking up to such a beautiful morning view is unbeatable. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making the entire experience amazing. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Antigua.

Really loved this hotel location & the pool! As the other reviews mention the sound from the club next door is extremely loud until 2am everynight. The bed was also extremely hard.

The place was great on most levels. But there was no air conditioning, only a fan. The room took a long time to cool, making it harder to sleep.

Beautiful property, great location but the wifi is terrible. Morning staff seemed to have a very nonchalant attitude. My flight was canceled last minute and I already paid for transportation through the hotel but they wanted me to pay extra the following day. I suggest taking Uber. It’s cheaper.

Evening receptionist is not very helpful. Didn’t provide WiFi info or stated where in the room to locate information. Not very informative or welcoming.

Tried putting me in a single bed for me and my nephew after I clearly paid for a double room. No one at front desk after 10pm.

What you should know is that there is a restaurant/nightclub next to the hotel so if you want peace and quiet you better search for another. They finish playing music at 1 A.M. Really charming place and central.

Well situated but Very noisy…there is a bar next door and the played loud music until 12h30 am and then everything stop … otherwise rooms are clean and staff are friendly

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years, and the location is great - just 1 block from the Central Park. The rooms are all unique and the pool is great. The one downside is that there is now a large nightclub next door, and during our weekend stay, the music was loud late into the evening, which (depending on where your room is) can be disruptive for sleep. This wasn’t an issue for Sunday night, so may be a disruption only on weekends.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years, and love the location - only a block from the Central Park in Antigua. The rooms are each unique and the pool is nice. The only recent downside is the loud bar next door, which has music playing late on the weekends (when we were there). Depending on where your room is, that noise can be a nuisance if trying to sleep. Overall, this is a great location, but there is some noise risk with weekend stays.

Excellently located hotel a few steps from main square and easy walk access to arch and other sights. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very charming old building, nice pool area, beautiful view from upstairs corridor. There is a trendy bar next door so some noise extends to early night, at least for top floor rooms (did not bother us, just something to consider). Overall excellent centrally located option with a pool.

Great location, close to the park and the arch. However the bar next door is very loud at night so if you think you're going to sleep early, bring earplugs.

The hotel is very convenient to the central area. It’s a good value. I was a little disappointed that they no longer have a restaurant/bar in the hotel. But there are lots of options near by

Nice hotel at the center of Antigua City,but not restaurant available there.Also i had inconvenients to sleep the first night with the lights at the hall durig the night time.

La propiedad es bonita y está muy bien localizada pero necesita un poco de trabajo. Sería muy bueno que reabrieran el restaurante. Los baños necesitan remodelacion, la piscina un buen retoque y sería bueno que pusieran un a nevera pequeñita en la habitación.
