The parking area is a bit crampt.

Bright and colorful large rooms, super clean, quiet yet adjacent and walkable to everything - from restaurants to beach and marina. Large refrigerator and microwave in room. Owner was welcoming and super responsive. Loved the retro decor. The poolside barbecue and the accessible laundry machines were a big plus.

Excellent location, a 3 minute walk to the top of the main street or 4 minute walk to the beach. The room was a good size with a small kitchenette plus a sofa and the essential air con'. There was also a barbeque area and a small pool with water at a perfect temperature! The lady running the place is lovely and helpful. The only negative for us was the bathroom is quite small, a bit dated and the air con' doesn't make it in there and it did get pretty warm in there. However we would definitely stay there again and do recommend.

Large room set well back from the street. Running water 24/7 from pool in adjacent property might take a night to adjust to. Tiny bench space in room but full kitchen facilities by poolside BBQ. Coin-op washer and dryer. Very friendly mgt.

Great place to stay to enjoy the main Street of Port Douglas. Our reception at the entrance was super friendly and convenient. The pool and BBQ available outside are a nice bonus. 10/10.

This motel was absolutely phenomenal! The rooms were huge and super clean. The outdoor kitchen and pool area were clean and spacious as well. Only a 6 mins walk from the grocery store and a block away from shopping and restaurants. Just absolutely amazing place. We seemed to have the whole place to ourselves. Amazing amazing!

My hotel room was a dump. Thin walls. I could hear the occupants next door turning their microwave on and off. I could hear their alarm clock going off (and it took them a long time to shut off the alarm). My room was next to the tanks which serviced the pool. So everything in my room smelled like chlorine. It was the stench of disinfectant in a seedy motel room. The pool was filthy (not that I wanted to go swimming). Sand and dirt strewn about the bottom. My room had a flimsy hollow core door, which if one was determined, you could easily kick the door in. A flimsy lock on the door. It was one of those places that the police use when they’re setting up a sting. In the movies, they huddle around a grainy monitor, listening over a busted speaker, waiting on the informant to say the code word before they spring into action and come rushing in through the adjoining door with guns drawn. It was only for one night, so I toughed it out, but it was a restless night and I must have woke up half a dozen times. I’ve travelled quite a bit, all over the world and your facility has to be the 3rd worst motel, I’ve ever spent the night in. Now I know, “Where NOT to stay” in Port Douglas. Next time I’ll stay elsewhere. The next morning after I checked out and didn’t look back. I'd like a refund. You could not pay me to stay in this motel again.

Excellent location and very clean and tidy

This is one of the best motels in which I have ever stayed. The outside was bright, colourful and inviting. Inside, the room was immaculate, well furnished and decorated. The bed and furniture were designed for comfort. Staff were most courteous. Very highly recommended by me.

Bright, clean rooms. Quiet complex and no noise from neighbouring properties. Great location, easy walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Parking is a bit tight in a big car, and water pressure/hot water wasn’t great, might just be a problem for upstairs rooms. Overall our stay was great.

Rooms are exactly as nice as they look on the photos. Bed super comfy, good size fridge freezer and in a great location to walk into town. We arrived late and there were easy helpful directions for us to check in on the reception door. A perfect stay

The location is the hero. Excellently situated for beach, shops and restaurants. Staff excellent. Furniture was cute but generally the place is looking a little tired. Pool is very small (unused during my stay). Large noisy fridge freezer in the room, microwave and kettle with minimal cutlery. A pleasant if minimal stay but definitely not five stars for me.

A really nice property with excellent facilities and a beautiful pool/BBQ area. Walking distance to the beach and dining places. Quiet room, with comfortable beds and kitchenette. Friendly staff. My only issue was with the shower. It had terrible water pressure and you didn't have enough water pressure to wash your hair. However, I would definitely stay here again.

This property is excellent, it is spacious, clean, and close to restaurants, and stores. The rooms are set up like studio apartments, so they have a refrigerator, microwave, and a sink. It also has a small living room.

Room was spacious and cozy. You will have extra towels for the swimmingpool from the reception. There’s also parking spots if you have a car. Supermarkets are nearby so you can fill up the fridge in the room. Will definitly recommend this! We arrived late, which wasnt a problem at all.

Best location for walking. Parked at door. Large comfortable room with bed, sofa, 2 chairs, table and full sized fridge. Staff very helpful with info. Only negative was most expensive laundry of trip. But it was clean and handy.

I have stayed at this property before and I find it is an excellent location being within easy walking distance to shopping and dining options. The staff and management are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet, clean and safe location with ease of access to this beautiful location.

We couldn’t wish for a nicer place to stay with lovely retro features which we loved, & everything was within a few minutes walk. Our room had all the accessories we required & was clean & comfortable. Only comment was the washer & dryer in a separate building needs updating but that may already be in their plans to do as everywhere was well kept & updated. We would highly recommend this motel & the staff - mother & son Bernie - both of whom were very welcoming, were friendly & gave us lots of advice & suggestions on what we could do & where!

Team at the Port Douglas Motel were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay so much we extended for longer than originally planned, it is in an awesome position for getting into town to the restaurants and shopping

Lovely renovated property, located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and markets. Spacious, clean, comfortable room with a great BBQ, pantry and kitchen set up at the pool. Well done to the owners. They are great too.

Lovely quirky spacious accommodation. Just around the corner from Macrossan Street and close to 4 mile Beach. It has everything you need.

The staff were so friendly. The location was perfect, just a block from the main street and a couple of blocks from Four Mile Beach. The room was huge with great amenities.
