Great place to stay in Launceston. Handy to most facilities. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking on site Beas good and the staff were helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when we next visit Launceston.

Our room was quite comfortable but dated and a little tired. It had a view of the rear service driveway; disappointing. Staff were friendly and helpful but the restaurant food was not up to the standard we would have expected. Parking was particularly tight and awkward.

Convenience of the facilities in the room. Clean bed linen. Friendly helpful staff at reception and in the dining room. The couch in our room too low and soft for us older folk to sit on & off of without a struggle! Finding a legitimate car park was not straight forward on Friday. The hotel parking space signs need a colour code or symbol to distinguish them from all the other spaces, plus an online location plan would help. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

This hotel was a short step away form the Charles Hospital and not in the cbd as we expected it to be. However we had free parking so no problem getting around. Our room was smaller that we expected considering the amount paid but it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. If we did not have a car, however, it would not have been convenient for getting around on foot.

very nice hotel with excellent staff, great brekky, good location. Found my room a little cold and was supplied straight away with a portable heater for my room. Only gripe was the lack of parking of which i believe the hotel is aware of. overall very pleased

Hotel Staff were amazing. I had a couple of facility issues that arose during my stay. The hotel staff attended to the issues promptly and kept me updated while I was out to let me know when the issues had been fixed. They were very apologetic for any inconvenience caused and I arrived back to my room later that night to a lovely note from the manager and a bottle of bubbles. I can highly recommend the Mantra on Charles in Launceston, Tasmania. Rooms are very clean and staff are friendly. There are also a couple of great cafes just down the road within a short walking distance.

The spa was in a very strange spot and flooded. The bin in the main area was in a dangerous place my fiancee hit is head at least 4 times on the side of the cupboard whilst putting things in the bin. The room was nicely set up but it appeared very unclean we didnt say anything as we were only there one night. The breakfast meal wasnt worth the cost

We enjoyed all aspects of our stay at the Mantra Charles. The rooms were quiet, clean and located in a quiet area. The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the meals produced by the chef, especially at dinner!

Very noisy hotel. We were given a room near the lift and just above the hotels delivery area. We could hear the lifts open and shut, other guests talking and the delivery truck was noisy and their lights reflected in our rooms. Thank god we only stayed there for one night.

Arrived 6pm after 12 hours enroute from Noosaville and to an Accor hotel where there was no food at all available- not even a bag of chips .Bar closed and mini bottles available to purchase from reception. Certainly was looking forward to a quick hotel meal and an early night. Room and amenities excellent which is the reason awarded. 2 star but felt otherwise would have given it a 1 star
