A well run quirky little motel with stairs everywhere. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed eating at the outside common area. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Was met by Cameron, who showed me to my room and helped me in with bags as I am mobility challenged. I had already communicated that, so I had been allocated a room close to parking with minimum 3 steps down. So a very pleasant lodging.

We stayed in double room with 1xQ & 3xS. Great little motel. Carpet needs cleaning. Everything else was great. Beds are comfy as well. Tv was great. Toilet & shower was fine. Kitchen was equipped, hot water kettle can do with replacement. Aircon was near new. Entry was keyless which was great.

Property was very good. Perhaps older style. Although we were on the main highway we found our room very quiet. Room well appointed unless you wanted to eat in the room, staff very helpful, and friendly. Would stay there again. Parking spaces a bit tight.

I booked this place last minute based on the reviews--it was dingy, dirty, and I probably should've just left, but it was late, and I knew I would be leaving early in the morning. The bed was clean, but the sheet that's supposed to be a fitted sheet kept coming off. The room was dark, dirty (the chairs were not cleaned), so I didn't want to touch anything. It's an old motel, there was garbage all over the property, and I didn't feel safe there. Thankfully, it was just for a handful of hours.

Very comfortable bed and very clean. Lovely manager and great checkin . Very close to shops and beach, but Very noisy hearing guests above our room and around the property, had to get up in night to bang fridge to stop it making noise

I have to say, this wasn’t wonderful. First, it was very dark; the lighting was not adequate. Even the bedside lamps shone straight up and not across. The internet barely worked at all. The shower pressure was low. The bedsheets were wrapped in something like plastic which rustled when you moved. It was upstairs, which was ok for us but wouldn’t be for some.

We stayed in a tiny room that was very well equipped but dark, crowded and uninviting. Everything worked ok, the shower was great, but nothing was very nice to look at. The toilet kept a steady trickle of water running all the time, which is wasteful and noisy. There is a major road outside so it was not quiet, but not very noisy either. There are petrol stations very close by where you can get coffee and basic produce, otherwise you need to go to town

Pros: The room is clean. Good location. Easy, contactless check-in when I checked in around 11pm Cons: Noisy. I could hear everything inc ppl talking at 12am, walking up and down the stair & hallway, upstair room using water, etc and the room was quite dark. Should have more light inside.

I recently stayed at the Mahogany Hotel. The front desk stuff remember was very helpful. The room was clean and tidy and fortunately the air conditioner worked really well as a heater. This town has very cold nights.

Overnight stop between Melbourne and Mt. Gambier. Chose the motel on basis of price and location----on the map it looked central but coming from railway station and not being able to get a taxi it was a long walk. The guy on reception was helpful with my needs and amenities were ok . Very comfortable bed. They had breakfast available but my check-in was too late to order one.

Mahogany motel was very nice surrounded by beautiful gardens. Close to transport and all amenities, walking distance to Flagstaff Maritime Village. Staff member is also very helpful, he booked a taxi for me on the departure date.
