Days Inn by Wyndham Kemah

The parking lot was exceptional. Inasmuch as a parking lot can be exceptional. Did not use the laundry room. The reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful even giving me a box of tissues for mother.

We always had clean laundry and the parking lot was lighted very well. very safe place to stay.

Bfast was only waffles & cereal. No syrup & out of milk, no fresh fruit or juices. Room smell & wasn’t wipe down the greatest. Pool water was very cold & hot tub not working.

The property was clean and a great value for the cost. The only thing is that the elevator was out the entire time we stayed. We stayed on the 1st floor so it was fine

Me Happy was very nice. The price was great. Very close to the Kemah Board walk. Rooms set up so you can cook. Parking was available and well lit. We will use again, and invite family. Good value for the price.

Indoor pool was freezing with no way of heating.

There was no breakfast worth eating the orange juice was hot and hardly anything offered at all they def need to improve breakfast, big time. The elevator was out which made someone with asthma struggle going up and down stairs. Would not stay here again

The front desk guys were very nice. There were a few things i didnt like. We stayed 2 days and housekeeping didnt clean or do our beds the 2nd day. We had to ask for extra towels. The breakfast was also limited. They only had a few muffins left and then 2nd morning there was only 1 muffin in the bin. There was no syrup for the waffles. I asked for syrup and he said they ordere but hadnt gotten yet. The pool was super cold. The jacuzzi wasnt on or hot either. The rooms were ok.

The motel’s fitness center was broken, hot tub was broken, tv was broken, muffins were stale, roaches in bathroom, dirty towels and vending machines were empty and the motel was hot. We spoke with the property manager and he did not seem to care about our concerns.

The hot tub was not working so we were disappointed after a long day we wanted to go relax in the hot tub but did not work

Roach in bathroom. Run down property. Poor part of town. Right on freeway. Poorly lit area. Did not feel safe. Sad breakfast options.

Room was clean and comfortable.

We booked this last minute for a family/anniversary trip. The front desk staff were very friendly but the conditions of the hotel and our room were absolutely awful. The room was very humid and the beds felt sticky and wet. The furniture in the room was dirty. The desk chair was covered in food stains (I hope that's what it was) and dirt/dust. Our TV didn't have a way to turn down the volume and was stuck on way to loud. My husband got another remote from the front desk but that didn't work either. After about an hour of trying to figure out what to do we went down stairs to ask if we could cancel the rest of our stay. The man at the front desk said that he would do that and we wouldn't be charged a cancellation fee. That was honored. We were just very disappointed and disgusted with the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general.

I didn’t like how sticky the floor was in the room & there was hair in the sink when we first got there.

Bath towels were nasty, and they smelled so bad. The bedsheets were nasty and stained.

Good clean room, friendly staff. Free breakfast is always nice too. Lots of TV channels. Very affordable price. Nearby lots of amenities, walked to a restaurant next door to eat lunch one day which was very convenient. Overall I would stay here again.

Hotel smelled weird. Sraff sitting talking having a gatter at breakfast area. Super rude cleaning people. Got in the bedroom the smell was even worse. Everything really old and broken. The tube was completely nasty. We sat a little to wait the rain stop for us to go to boardwalk. We had to.open the windows because of the smell. My 3 years old baby started etching and my husband found bed bugs. We didn't spend the night. Packed back and went home to have shower. No way would use that bathroom

Very clean room and bathroom. I don’t usually do hotel room review but this time is different. I enjoy that the has a relaxing vibe, no weird smell and the bathroom is well lit and clean.

The floors look dirty when you walk in. The room smelled mildew or mold in the air. Only one lamp light worked and the bathroom light. There was a gross spill on the carpet. The table was burnt. The chair arm was broken & dangerous. There was hair in the shower. The toilet seat wasn't stable to the point our son sat down and almost fell. The hot tub doesn't work and the pool is to cold and full of chlorine. So much it made my youngest throw up from the smell. When i told them, the manager told me he would get me a bucket and mop so i could clean it. I asked for paper towels because i couldn't find any in the bathroom. Thats what i cleaned it with. When we where checking out he was nonchalant. Horrible totally playing more to get something way better. Every time we came to kemah for the past 16years we had stayed there. Never again!

At first glance, the room looks really nice. Upon further inspection, you begin to realize why the room is so inexpensive. The bed was clean and comfortable but the condition of the furnishings is subpar. The conditions could use a little more attention to detail. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

This was a great hotel. The room was so nice, but the AC was not working. We reported right away but were dismissed with the excuse that the heat outside had the whole hotel hot. It never did cool. By the time we were taken seriously there were no open rooms in the hotel or in Kehma for that matter. It was a miserable sweaty night. The refrigerator was not cooling either, so we couldn’t even refresh with cold water. It was completely unacceptable to me. I would honestly stay here again, but I would definitely check the room before paying.

This place is great. The only thing that needs work is the bathroom. The only light that came on was around the mirror, the shower curtain rod was concerning because it was barely hanging on the wall. Other a that we enjoyed our stay.

Advertisement stated indoor pool- yet unheated- unusable. Air conditioner sounded like I had a jet engine in the room. Street construction blocked the drive. The room was very clean and the staff was amazing, very professional and kind.

I chose this motel because it had a room with 3 queen sized beds in it. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean. The carpets were filthy. The breakfast was very good and in a clean dining area. The consigner at the desk was especially helpful and went out of his way to make sure our stay was pleasant.

Friendly staff but the guests upstairs from us were loud all night. The lamp shades were both torn and the view was a brick wall from looking out of the window. Not a eye friendly property.

I mean it was nothing to brag about, thought i saw a hottub in their pictures when i booked but it’s a children’s pool, not a hot tub which was disappointing. Walls are thing you can hear everything outside of room.

Room door was open when going to room before using key. Room was hot/humid AC was not on when arriving. Fortunately my family left for dinner rather then staying in room.

I think the room was great for the price!!! I would definitely stay there again if I knew for sure we would be in that exact room again. Staff was super nice too!!

Staff is so accommodating and thoughtful. Greeted so warmly and welcoming. We have stayed before and will definitely be staying again.

I booked through a 3rd party the same day as i would arrive. A few hours later i show up and they booked someone else in my room. Told me my name was VERY common, i can assure you it is not. I had to stand there with my ID and reservation for 45 min while the front end argued with me about my name.

Arrived at 3 desk clerk off property a resident was in the lobby waiting for Walmart to deliver groceries for continental breakfast. Clerk arrived at 3:45 no apologies had mentioned that he went to pickup his child and also received a call that he had been chosen for a position at another hotel and would be gone by Monday

It was very nice, the pool was warm, and the man at the check in desk was absolutely the best... he actually befriended my husband and I.

Check in was smooth, staff is very friendly and helpful. I think I will continue to stay on my trips to this area in the future. For the price you can’t beat it.

Terrible terrible service by the so called “manager”. Had my reservation of 3 rooms done a week in advance with no problem on the app. On the day of very early in the morning I get a call from a man (very heavy English accent) saying he cancelled my reservation because my cc declined. I said there was no reason for my cc to decline however why he would be running my cc if we are not even there. He was very rude and talking over me the whole time saying he didn’t know and it was not his problem and if wanted rooms we would pay higher price. I tried to get a reasonable reason out of him but he was just talking over me and repeating it was not his problem. I ask to speak to the manager or someone else and he refused saying no one will help me anymore then he disconnected the call. After that I started reading the reviews and saw where many many people had complained about bad, rude service from the front desk people. I called back and I said I should of read the reviews before reserving at this hotel and he simply said I don’t care and disconnected the call for the second time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel at all. READ THE REVIEWS and you’ll find out why.

Good property for the price. 2 or 3 minute drive to the Kemah Boardwalk area.

A pleasant stay. Close to Kemah Boardwalk and restaurants.

Road construction right outside entrance. Elevator not working. Carpets need vacuumed. Walls had chipped paint

It is ok, lot of road construction. Hard to get to or find the entrance. Wyndham used to be one of the nicest places you could stay but this place is definitely lacking anything Wyndham... It was an ok place to sleep for one night. The one was clean.

It was very clean and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was decent. The road closures due the road construction, makes it very difficult ro get in and out. Almost all Google directions very inconsistent.

We ended up checking out a day early due to the conditions. The room smelled moldy and gave us a headache, we killed 2 roaches on the bathroom counter, the vending machines were empty and left no options for drinks and there was no ice. The tubs were very slippery. When we walked down for breakfast the muffins were stale.

According to booking it said they do breakfast, and tgey don't, but wasccharfed for it.

Our room was clean and seemed to be updated recently. The only exception was a small hole in the bathroom door and the missing towel holder. For breakfast, there were not many choices and there was only 1 wafflemaker. We had to wait in a line. It was not working properly so waffles were not done on the inside. “Happy” at the front desk was very kind and reported this for us.

Pool was not working properly and the hot tub was cold the guy said it was broken down. The breakfast was not as stated in site. Juice machine was dispensing sour juices they were spoiled

Property was not clean or even smelled clean. When we walked in our room the smell was horrible. The pool area was gross. The “breakfast “ was old pastries, cereal that stay out the day. The waffle maker was dysfunctional and when we flipped it the batter went everywhere. The elevators are scary as hell! It pauses like you are stuck and makes horrible noise.

The front desk clerk during the morning and afternoon was so friendly and helpful. He continuously asked how our stay was going. He was super nice to my son. The breakfast was good. It was toast, waffles, cereal and muffins. The pool is indoor and not heated. I couldnt get in because it was too cold for me but my son used it. The room was nice. The beds were comfortable. We will stay here again.

Front desk person missing for 15 minutes at check in Breakfast is mini muffins and cereal Coffee was watery and smelled like fish

mgmt was excellent ~ there was construction going on all around that area making it extremely hard to get around ~ the Hotel did not offer Continental breakfast as advertised ~ there was No BREAKFAST Period ~ No juice nothing ~ The best thing about this place was the manager on duty when we checked in and out actually our entire stay there, he was EXCELLENT ~ I can't remember his name, he had a kid
