This place is a gem - spotless and a perfect place to relax after the crowds downtown. I would happily stay here a week. Owners were very responsive and friendly, and everything about the place was constantly being attended to, from the gardens to the pool to the extra towels. It’s right on the Wego bus line, so no need to fight traffic downtown or pay for parking.

The Blue Moon exceeded our expectations. Room 23. It is motel style with 2 levels of rooms with outside entrances. The room was slightly smaller than most hotel rooms. It was spotless! 2 queen beds. They wash all bedding, including the top spreads after each guest. Room included a large refrigerator, hot plate, full size coffee pot with coffee, full stock of dinnerware and glasses. There were 2 chairs and a small table outside on the balcony. The landscaping was beautiful! There is a large heated pool with plenty of seating around it, including 2 lounge swings with comfy cushions. There is patio seating with grills and picnic tables avaliable. All outdoor areas also well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and will be back.

This motel is cute and quaint. It has a nice clean pool and little area for kids. There were a couple outdoor areas to barbeque and sit and there's outdoor seating in front of the rooms. The room was small but clean with a fridge and the bathroom was clean and everything working. Parking was ample enough and convenient.

On entering the room ther was an overpowering smell of ?something' which air fresheners was hiding. Never really found the source, but thought it could be a drains smell. Looks like it was built in the 1960s/70s, but has never been updated apart from a modern power outlet in the bedroom with USB and a flat-screen TV with few channels. When relocating the extension lead in the kitchen elsewhere, found a pest control device in operation! Filthy behind the firidge and cooker, had not been cleaned for some time. Coffee terrible, even at double strength. Only one bedside table and light. Bed comfortable, aircon working, but that smell???. Won't be back. must be better value elsewhere with more modern amenities.

Our stay was ok. The shower was extremely small. We loved the size of the fridge and that we didn’t have to leave the room to get ice. Only problem we had was an ant problem. Lots of ants on the fridge, on the microwave and around the bathroom sink area

Very clean rooms for a Niagara Motel. Having a kitchen was a bonus. My group had 3 rooms and two of us had kitchens we didn’t expect. All our rooms were dated but very clean. Staff were friendly and very easy going.

The room was a good size. Microwave and fridge were both clean. For a mini fridge it was a good size. Front desk Kevin super friendly and helpful when I tripped the circuit breaker because I had to many appliances running lol.

This property had great reviews. Unfortunately neighbours loud with talking and slamming doors at 6 am. It was quieter in the day then during the night time. You could hear noises from other rooms. Did not get the quiet experience I was expecting. Very disappointing experience. Feels like I got ripped off for the money I put into it.

Though the inside was clean, I felt that more attention could be paid to the outdoors. Christmas decorations and lights in June? That was offputting and may have tainted my thoughts on the property. The pool seemed clean though we didn't use it.

Very disappointed! Our room (26) was an “added after the fact” kind of situation(in relation to location on property). It was located on the second floor of the check in office. The area was very cramped. After reading all of the excellent reviews, I know the other rooms had to be much better & true suites. This was our 1 year marriage anniversary. The outside was definitely pretty & full of flowers. Parking was very cramped as well. Our tv would not function at all & after several attempts to call the front desk (busy signal every time) we had to “flip the switch” & it came on. The AC was so loud (needs replaced) & water was only slightly warm in the later evening (If you like cold showers, morning would best for that). Due to not being able to reach the office, all issues were saved for check out. The front desk gentleman said “I’m sorry, you should have called & I would have taken a look right away”. Well…I was not going to spend my vacation listening to a busy signal & other in my room. I would suggest calling ahead to make sure which room you get.

I hate giving a negative review for anyone, but we had a poor experience at this motel and I felt I needed to share. We saw the glowing reviews about the pool and cleanliness and were incredibly excited to give it a go. On the positive, the reviews were right that the pool area was adorable, they had a great BBQ area and the rooms were very neat. Negative: I realized we had a problem when there were ashtrays in front of all of the rooms. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, so that was a red flag I would have liked to have known this before we booked as it would have been easy to avoid this issue. When we got into our room we could hear our neighbours every move, so we prepped ourselves for a noisy night. However, it was our time at the pool that changed our minds about the place completely, as there was someone smoking hash in the kids playground beside the pool. We had to leave because the odour was horrible. It was the first time we left a hotel before nighttime even hit. I told the front desk person about the issue as we checked out, but he didn't really say anything. I truly hope this was just a one off experience and it can live up to its other reviews.

The staff was wonderful. We arrived earlier then check in time. They allowed us to checkin upon arrival. Also needed a downstairs room because of recent knee replacement. They gave us a free upgrade to a downstairs room with a kitchenette. Would definetly stay here again. Was very kid friendly, playground and a pool. Staff was very friendly and very accommodating.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was freshly remodeled and very clean. Flowers on every balcony and chairs on the porches in front of each room. It was so welcoming. We even made arrangements for a late check in and the process was very easy. I would highly recommend. We definitely will stay there again!

I made a mistake when changing my reservation online and changed it for the wrong date. I didnt notice until the day of. I called the location and they still had a room. They were able to switch the date of my reservation on very short notice. Room was great. Stayed in a double bed with kitchen room. Very reasonably priced and kitchen included all cook and dishware. Very satisfied, this is the 3rd time Ive stayed here and will definitely stay here again.

They were able to switch the date of my reservation on very short notice. Room was great. Stayed in a double bed with kitchen room. Very reasonably priced and kitchen included all cook and dishware. Very satisfied, this is the 3rd time Ive stayed here and will definitely stay here again.

This motel was clean and comfortable and only a 10 minute drive to the falls. The wego bus stop was only a few steps from the motel. It was a little outdated but the room pricing was very good and overall a good value.

This place is a gem - spotless and a perfect place to relax after the crowds downtown. I would happily stay here a week. Owners were very responsive and friendly, and everything about the place was constantly being attended to, from the gardens to the pool to the extra towels. It’s right on the Wego bus line, so no need to fight traffic downtown or pay for parking.

Very cute and clean. The staff was very friendly! I loved that there were BBQ's available as well. The room and bathroom were very clean, even the inside of the fridge and microwave. It is an older building which is showing it's age a bit, but it is well maintained. I personally love that the pool is heated, unfortunately, the heater was off the second day we were there. Not a complaint at all, since it was a hot midsummer day, the pool temp was nowhere near unacceptable, just my personal preference! Location is great since it is extremely close to pretty much everything you want and need, but just far enough away that it is quiet and relaxing. The bus stops right out front and is very convenient as an option for easy travel to all the attractions, only about a 10 minute ride. I hope the quality continues at the Blue Moon Motel because I would love to go back anytime I'm in Niagara Falls!

This place was an excellent choice for me overall. I was looking for inexpensive, clean, and close to the Falls and this place fit that. The owners are very friendly and the place is very clean. Beds were very comfortable. This is a motel, not hotel, which the name clearly states. It’s an older place but I found it had character. It’s within 10 minutes of the falls and it was easy to drive to them. Plenty of eating options nearby, a bar and grill across the street and also gas stations. Even a Walmart within 10 minutes in case you forgot something at home. Glad I stayed here and definitely would stay again!

It was a nice spot but further away from the touristy area than I expected (it says 5 min drive to Clifton hill and it ended up being more like 20). But the property was well maintained and the owner was accommodating.

The outdoor grill and eating areas were unbeatable. The separate room for our kids was wonderful! We all loved the pool and gardens. The flower boxes and plants let us know that the family who owns the hotel really cares about their place!

Attentive staff, comfortable beds, barbeques, and swimming pool. The small kitchen was stocked with dishes, plates, cookware to make breakfast before we headed to Niagara Falls. There is a public bus stop in front of the hotel that can take you to the Falls if you wish. Very convenient.

The Blue Moon exceeded our expectations. Room 23. It is motel style with 2 levels of rooms with outside entrances. The room was slightly smaller than most hotel rooms. It was spotless! 2 queen beds. They wash all bedding, including the top spreads after each guest. Room included a large refrigerator, hot plate, full size coffee pot with coffee, full stock of dinnerware and glasses. There were 2 chairs and a small table outside on the balcony. The landscaping was beautiful! There is a large heated pool with plenty of seating around it, including 2 lounge swings with comfy cushions. There is patio seating with grills and picnic tables avaliable. All outdoor areas also well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and will be back.

It is a very nice place with all the facilities. Freshco right in front, free parking with swimming pool and the best part are the plants. The owner takes such nice care of the plants, they are very well maintained and watered. It felt like home to me. The rooms are very clean with clean blankets, small fridge, a coffee maker and a microwave. I loved my 2 nights stay .

This motel is cute and quaint. It has a nice clean pool and little area for kids. There were a couple outdoor areas to barbeque and sit and there's outdoor seating in front of the rooms. The room was small but clean with a fridge and the bathroom was clean and everything working. Parking was ample enough and convenient.

This is an older property, but it was very clean! The staff were friendly and helpful. There's a grocery store close by and a bus stop conveniently located right out front. We traveled everywhere by bus. There was everything we needed in the room: microwave, mini fridge, blow dryer, dining table and chairs, and of course, the bed and tv. There was also a little table and 2 chairs outside our room so we could enjoy sitting outdoors. We did not use the pool, but the area looked nice. For the price, you can't find a better place to stay in the area.
