The AC did not cool down our room. The night front desk staff was not courteous. The vending machine for cold drinks was empty and out of order. Visited the pool, but there were no pool towels available.

I have zero complaints about the fantastic friendly front desk staff or any of the other employees other than the GM...she should be avoided at all costs if your want your stay to be enjoyable or a "home away from home"! Great location off of I-40 with well lit parking, clean rooms, and friendly atmosphere overall! Try the Indian Food hub if you want something eclectic in this dying Route 66 town!

After over a month of staying here, my employee was told—via front desk staff—that the GM felt he was “talking to them too much” and should leave them alone. This was especially surprising since those interactions were always friendly and positive. This is also the same manager who previously criticized me for requesting fresh linens after my kids accidentally spilled something during a separate stay while our home was under renovation. As a long-stay hotel, you would think positive, respectful interaction between guests and staff would be encouraged—not discouraged. Instead, this approach created an uncomfortable environment not just for us, but for the staff as well. Our nonprofit frequently books accommodations in the area and had consistently chosen this location because of its convenience. Unfortunately, after this experience, we’ll be looking elsewhere moving forward.
