Let me start by giving credit where it’s due. The buffet for breakfast is incredible. The room itself was lovely - our room was oversized and had a gewa visw. The 1970 bar is special. That being said I had issue with the fact that we booked a higher level premium room and did not receive the features listed as being included on the Hotel website (car service and airport transfer). When I brought it up to the hotel, I was told they only provide those features if you book that particular type of room directly through the hotel. But of course their website says nothing along those lines. II would not have booked this Hotel had I actually known that. There were other hotels of similar quality for either less money or better location available. The drinks at the lobby bar were OK at best. The food we had outside of the buffet was very mediocre. No convenience room for long haul travelers so when we arrived we just had to sit around and wait after traveling for more than a day and being exhausted. Our room was not ready at check in. I was surprised no concession was made for these problems which is something you would expect at a high end hotel when something goes wrong and it is through no fault of the customer. I travel enough to know that.
