My room was perfect for my solo visit although could not get any hot water out the shower. A big thanks to Kadim who was absolutely wonderful and helpful re parking (and ideas for future visits to avoid the hefty 2 hours parking outside hotel), adapting to my awkwardness at breakfast and just being genuinely friendly. Hotel was OK. True, It is in need of modernisation. The rooms were clean and were cleaned daily. Pleased that there was a lift in the part of the hotel I was allocated. The lift does not serve all areas, so check with the hotel if you have problem with stairs. However, the staff were very nice and friendly which added slightly to our stay

The area seemed a bit dodgy with street people hanging around. The wifi was not functioning in our room as it was being upgraded. We made a complaint and were given a complimentary breakfast. The manager was most apologetic. Parking was only available on the street and we had to pay for it. For an extra charge we were able to upgrade to a seaview room. Common areas were quite shabby but the room had been upgraded and was clean and modern. Some of the lights did not work.

Dreadful! TV didn’t work in two rooms I was given, however third time lucky! WiFi didn’t work at all. Hotel very tired and dated, furniture looks like it has been rescued from a skip. The noise of banging bins, a bin truck at 5.40am, drunks, seagulls (overflowing bins) made for a rubbish sleep. There is no lift so carrying bags/case up 6 flights of stairs wasn’t pleasant - changing rooms three times and doing this without a single offer of help wasn’t a good experience. Female receptionist rude and witnessed her being disrespectful to her male colleague. Permanent notice on reception to say ‘back in 10 mins’ - was there for two days! I left after one night - was originally booked for 2. Wouldn’t refund one night! There is a crap coffee machine in reception - you can have a crsp coffee for £3….bargain!

The place was good for weekend stay, more suited to sole person as lift is very tiny. Lovely sea-view from windows, seagulls make it difficult to keep windows clean. Breakfast very expensive at over £10

Got to the hotel and got told we had a twin room rather than a double the place was riddled with damp and a lift that was out of order meaning we had to carry the luggage up four flights of stairs and there wasnt any other fire exit apart from the way we got up and its next to not so nice flats with youngsters smoking weed and drinking and shouting till early hours of the morning. My opinion the hotel needs a complete referb

Had the pleasure of spending the night in a fantastic room overlooking the sea from a balcony. The only downside is the lack of parking, which you have to pay for, and the restriction of staying only two hours for over 6 pounds. The staff is extremely welcoming and skilled.

The place was cold and damp. After a little while the room smelt of urine. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom door did not shut. The carpet was badly stained. The window was filthy. The shower had mould. The breakfast was an extra £10 90.

Very pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews. We had rooms 16 and 22 which were both large, had sea views and were quiet. I would say, which others have, the stairs are quite steep! You would definitely need to ask for a lower floor room if you have any issue with stairs. The rooms were both nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable. In room 16, the bedside lights remained on even when the switch was turned off which was odd. The bathrooms were clean but a little tired. I would definitely stay here again! Great price for a great stay!

The hotel is on Hastings sea front. It looks tired and in poor condition externally. The internal lobby area is sterile and unwelcoming. The reservation staff were friendly enough. The internal decor was appalling- paint pealing from the walls, many damp stains and water marks. The aroma in the stairwell was overwhelmingly damp and unpleasant. The carpets were filthy. The rooms were slightly better but again looking closely at the walls and skirting, multiple scuffs and smudges were apparent. Overall, this hotel deserves a ranking of one star. It needs a full internal revamp and needs a damp course treatment. I would not stay again.

Superb views from our room, although room was a little dated it was very clean and comfortable, excellent value, we did not try breakfast as it didn't fit with our plans but it did smell good.

Our experience at this hotel was mixed. The location was good, the staff were friendly, but as a whole it was disappointing. The room was not particularly clean, wallpaper was hanging off areas of the wall. One of our widows could not be closed fully so a draught and more importantly noise came in from outside. The shower room, wc was rather difficult to use as it was so small. One of the bedtop lamps and the lamp above the shower room mirror didn't work. Also cleaning staff were speaking loudly outside our room early in the morning. The bed was comfy though...

Absolutely Awful Stay – Avoid This Place This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Where do I even start? • No lift, despite the building having multiple floors. To make matters worse, there was just an old mattress blocking where the lift should be. • No air-conditioning, which made the room extremely uncomfortable. • Walls were dirty, and the room in general was dated and grubby. • The hallway signage to the room was barely visible or helpful. • TV was tiny—honestly, you’d get a better viewing experience from your phone. • No bedside table, and the bed kept sliding toward the filthy wall. • The toilet was so close to the sink, it was nearly impossible to sit properly. • The bathroom had no door handle, the hook was falling off, and tiles were coming loose. • There were holes in the walls and crumbling plaster throughout the hallway. To top it all off, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and I could feel the springs poking through. I barely managed 3 hours of sleep and ended up driving home at 6 a.m. just to get proper rest. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.

Window barely opened. No hot water. Sheer curtain. Old tv didnt even have usb plug. No wall usb plugs. Worn hotel. Soft mattress. Thin pillows. On noisiest road.

Bathroom door wouldn't close. Bathroom very very tiny and shabby. Radiator did not work. Very very poor experience. Would not go back or recommend.

The shower had to be mended as it didn’t work, tv did not work , room not very big .

Great seas view our room was very nice well decorated,shower had issues with hot water and heating wasn’t strong enough in night and mirror had a crack in it but tv was great smart tv free WiFi and a lot of Charging points and a mini fridge was very handy would stay again 100 percent

Bathroom was so small it was more or less unusable.. Noisiest place I have ever stayed … never slept a wink

I thought this hotel offered a good value stay in Hastings. It provides everything you need and is in a great location, less than 10 minutes from the station and right on the seafront. I think the room would benefit from some updating - my mattress was uncomfortable and a little threadbare - however, the view from the window and balcony of the sea was beautiful!

My daughter and I have stayed here twice now and we had the same twin room, which is perfect to crash after crazy golf, fun in the sea, shopping and dining! The receptionist was nice and polite, and although we didn’t eat or drink at the hotel I could see a good selection of beverages behind the bar, and the breakfast room looked nice. For the price, this is a great option for a budget getaway. We will come to stay again, thank you!

My daughter and I have stayed here twice now and we had the same twin room, which is perfect to crash after crazy golf, fun in the sea, shopping and dining! The receptionist was nice and polite, and although we didn’t eat or drink at the hotel I could see a good selection of beverages behind the bar, and the breakfast room looked nice. For the price, this is a great option for a budget getaway. We will come to stay again, thank you!

Hotel overlooks the English Channel just off a busy main road ,my room was basic but very clean and the bed was very comfortable ,Tea and Coffee maker in the room which was a nice touch ,just the job for an overnight stay and just a 10 minute walk to Hastings Station.

A very good hotel for staying on the front - great view from room. Whilst communal areas were tired - the rooms were to a modern standard. Great location with respect to old and new town. Underground Car parking within two minute walk from hotel.

Good view of the beach and the sea. Amazing location. Breakfast was great. Radiator in the room didn't work properly. Hair dryer wasn't functioning. Plug points were not accessible from the bed. Had a great stay. The hotel was at walking distance to all the tourist attractions and eateries. Room was clean and comfortable.

Didn’t like anything about it apart from young man at reception, who was extremely helpful in a rediculous place. No breakfast, you don’t do them anymore, no water in machine to drink for our medication in the morning. The place needs to shut down for a full refurbishment!!!!

Pleasant room with a view. Bed not comfortable. Ordered breakfast but the chef decided to close the kitchen early. Not impressed. Free tea coffee etc from reception

Room was large and airy and with a sea view. We were expecting a breakfast - we didn't get one.

Friendly welcome at reception. Very clean. Lots of maintenance needs to be done eg cracked toilet cistern lid, cracked tiles. light cord in bathroom lengthened. Excellent breakfast.
