Apollo Guest House

Based on our room and two night stay in a ground floor room. Parking was included in the multistorey behind the building from 4pm till 11am the next day which was very convenient. The room was clean n compact. Quirky building with everything being on a slant caused by foundation movement. No breakfast or room service included. This was for room only so you could argue it was a lttle overpriced.Toilet and shower room was small but functional. Only seperated from the main room by a bi folding door so you can hear everything so you cant be shy with your other room guest. Room had everything you needed,tv, wifi, hair drier,iron and ironing board.. kettle, cups with complimentary tea coffee, bottled water etc. Cups could do with being bigger for our taste. A proper size mug would have been nice.Adaquate storage from a wardrobe. Bed was comfy although maybe a liitle on the hard side for our taste but we both slept well during our two night stay..only negatives were were curtains had to be drawn during the evening as other guests congregated outside our window by the front door to smoke and with it being hot outside the windows were open so you could smell the smoke and hear them talking. My partner did loose a new pair of trousers during the two days, i wouldnt like to say the cleaning staff had these when they cleaned/restocked the room while we were out so this will remain a mystery. Overall we enjoyed our stay as its near to the seafront and amenietys.we would come back again.

The room was tidy, the host was available and helpful, and the location was convenient to central Hastings... for better and worse. Free parking was available around the block in a pretty dingy carpark, but my car did fine. The ensuite shower was almost comically small, but it got the job done.

The room was clean and nice. There two bottles of water and juices with cookies. Everything was as it was promised, perhaps a little more.

The hotel was in a great location, very close to the station and within easy walking distance to both the seaside and the city center. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the shower room was clean. There was a slight smell in the room at first, but it wasn’t a big issue and I got used to it. The kettle could have been a bit cleaner, so I didn’t use it, but overall the room was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay.

It's a great experience for me. The room was super tidy and clean, and very spacious as well. All facilities were in good condition. Although the room is facing the road, but after closing the windows it's very quiet and I had a very good sleep and never heard any noise. The person who greeted us (I guess he is the host) were very nice and friendly, explained everything clearly and concisely. There were also some note/leaflets provided information introducing surrounding attractions, dining options, or important facilities, which was very useful. Location couldn't be better, it just 5 mins walk from the train station. Within 10mins you will get to the town center which is super convenient. In addition, as it was during the Easter period, there were some chocolate eggs hided in the cups and I only discovered that when I wanted to use the cups, what a lovely surprise! The only things and it could be better was the Wifi signal, when I sat close to the windows it's too weak that it lost connection. But on the bed it's strong enough. Also the water pressure of shower could be stronger. Nevertheless, these were just small issue and didn't affect much the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Really nice guest house, we were in a double room on the first floor and when we turned up we saw some construction nearby and we sighed to ourselves as we expected a lot of noise BUT it was dead quiet in the room and it had black out curtains, it really felt comfortable and secure and the hosts were fab, we turned up and got a run through of all the info we needed and a handy booklet with more info and local places to visit, the price was very respectable for the proximity to the town and beach front as well as the station, my favourite part of this guest house was probably the bed and one thing I could suggest as an improvement would be to put a lock on the bathroom door, overall very nice stay

The reviews for here I found to be accurate, it’s a decent place to stay for a night or two. Check in was easy, room was spacious, en suite was suitable though the comments about it being small are right. Still perfectly useable and we were two guys well over 6ft.

We walked everywhere and felt safe but there was an abundance of litter on the sidewalks from both people and seagulls that tear open and scatter garbage which does not seem to get cleaned up. The staff kept turning off the CH so when returning to room it was freezing and had o wait to heat room. My last night 4 new guests arrived and we very noisy, one one them flooded the shower hence me not having one on morning of departure at 06.30am

I thought the payment was coming out my bank as it had taken the money and was pending in my bank account and got there and was asked for payment so they need to sort that technical point out otherwise it was a good stay for me and my friend

Perfect for a quick getaway The staff are amazing the dig are near Sainsbury’s and other shops. Domino pizza on the doorstep. 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes to the Beach and old town. Perfect place for a trip to the coast.
