Inn on Main Hotel

Absolutely beautiful rooms - spotlessly clean. Easy access and parking. Manasquan is a great town and everything is walkable from the Inn. Beach is about one mile away. Highly recommend.

There was nothing in the shower to be able to bring shampoo or soap on. Bring on top of a restaurant was very noisy in the morning between deliveries and the patio being blown off at 7:30 am . I overall was not that impressed for the amount I was charged for one night.

Room was clean and unique and beautiful, Did not like that Parking was first come first serve

I know it’s tough for parking, but need at least one more handicap parking spot.

My favorite place to stay when visiting family at the Jersey shore. This hotel is absolutely beautiful, elegant, clean and in a great location. I’ve stayed here twice now and I love the fact that there’s no front desk - check in/out is done all via text or email on your own time, never feeling rushed or pressured, while always being able to contact them if you have a question. The hotel itself is on a Main Street, parking lot brightly lit with plenty of spaces, there’s a restaurant on the ground floor so when walking in you’re usually not alone, and they have key codes for after hours entry. It feels very safe and is in a safe location. I’ve stayed with someone and by myself, and I’ve felt equally comfortable both times, even coming in later in the evening. As for the rooms, they’re immaculately clean, from the linens to the bathrooms. Rooms are spacious with upscale furniture, lush carpets and nice pillows and bedding. They even decorated for Christmas this last stay, having lights on my balcony and decor on the night stands which was such a nice touch- the balcony was gorgeous and really added to the experience. It’s pretty quiet, obviously there will be people above and below there is a restaurant- if you want it super quiet, I suggest staying on the third floor as we did the first time. They also limit children so it’s perfect for a romantic getaway or honeymoon suite. All said, this is a wonderful place, I’ll stay here every time I’m in this area.

This place is incredibly charming! The area is, too. The attached restaurant was wonderful, we ate outside on the back deck. Note they do not have a liquor license, but the place was packed - the food was so good, no one cares about the lack of liquor. It may be BYOB, ask ahead if you care. Do yourself a favor and get the Tuna Bites. We're hard to please foodies, and those things were little bites of heaven! We also loved the lamb chops. But back to the hotel... That bed was so comfortable, I got 9 hours uninterrupted sleep for the first time in months. The entire place felt like we were staying in a well-appointed guest house of a friend. I get the feeling it was decorated by the owner with great taste. The lamps in our room were lovely, and I saw one of them at a gorgeous lighting shop down the road, which added to the local charm. Every Thursday in July the town closes the street and has a little festival. We drank beer on the street, shopped the cute shops, danced to a Grateful Dead cover band, checked out a classic car show, pet a thousand well-behaved dogs. It was heaven! The area seems to be an upper class crunchy town which is 100% our vibe. Lots of healthy food, sustainable shops, a cute art gallery, and clothing boutiques. Shower pressure was amazing, and AC worked perfect on 100 degree days and nights (and I'm perimenopausal, lol). We are absolutely staying here next year. We stayed in 301. We loved everything about this place. Thank you to the owners!

The Inn on Main Street is truly exceptional. Our room is beautiful and elegant while also charming and cozy. We love having different dining options on the ground floor and being in the center of downtown shopping.

The Inn on Main Manasquan, NJ, was very well kept and our King room was quite large w/ comfortable seating areas, small table & 2 chairs, loveseat, TV,WiFi. Free on-site parking. Small town main street locale was easy. Bathroom nicely appointed. Very clean. The completely remote, online, and staff-less reservations, check-in and check-out was slightly confusing. Received text messages with instructions to call to check-in but no one answered phone # provided. Later someone returned the call, and wondered why I had called them...??? I assumed this procedutre was unnecessary, yet at the other end, about 2 hrs after 11 AM Check Out time, I received text to call and confirm that we had checked out...??? Timing is everything...This small hotel has the feel of a B&B w/o common guest areas. In spite of small town Jersey Shore privilege, I felt that for the pricing point charged, breakfast should have been made part of the stay included in their rate. It seems oddly missing from their whole packaging. It has more of a small European style Guest Hotel aspect to this site. With 2 restaurants on the 1st floor of the same building, a Continental Breakfast included in the rate would have been a value added to guests.Would have gone a long way in offering a convenience.The LVP wood floors do make it noisy from ppl just walking across rooms above. Were only in the area due to family member's funeral and needed accomodations last minute. Just Incl. breakfast & use Keurigs to be 5 Stars.

Clean and safe.

Nice place, always clean and easy to access

Upon arrival there was dark black long hair on the bathroom floor - it was but mine. I arrived late and didn’t call issue to management. The cleaning lady came in the following day and did not clean the bathroom bc the hair was still there. Gross I tried to use the stairs verses the elevator and the stair door barely opened on the ground floor bc a service tray was placed in front of it - blocking the door. Overall the stay was good however issues need addressing.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. There is no staff on site. You checking with a code they send and it was super easy. Only downside was the pillows on the bed were awful.

I booked this hotel for a staycation for one night (I live in a town nearby) for a relaxing and rejuvenating night and it was just what I needed! The room was very charming, cozy, and super comfortable! We had a king size bed for a rejuvenating sleep and the fire place in the room was the best part to set the ambiance and warmth on a winter night in February! It was clean and I loved the furniture / decor of the room also. There was only one suggestion for constructive feedback- the coffee maker was not well-cleaned, so I didn’t use it and instead walked to a local coffee shop (green planet). Thank you for a refreshing, pleasant night in manasquan!

Although the hotel was beautiful I did not like the fact that it t has hard wood floors and the renter of the above unit did not slept the whole night long walking up and down for the 2 nights that we were there and did let us sleep either.

Door code don’t work on arrival for room 205. Quickly remedied when I called the contact number. Room above me was extremely loud as I believe that someone wearing high heels was clunking around at 10pm. Than again at 2am. Place is beautiful and I stayed here before but the second floor is too noisy from folks above.

This is a self service property. No front desk. Had an issue 2 mornings with the exit doors early in the morning. Could not exit the building before 7 am.

It's a great place to stay, Expedia somehow lost in their messaging the most important piece of information THE CODE TO THE ROOM!! I don't blame the Inn, I did get in touch with the INN person on call over the phone and they quickly cleared up the missing door code. Expedia did NOT have the door code in their arrival instructions, although days later I found it in some long house rules letter. You should stay at the INN, just find some other way then Expedia to book it.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn on Main! Check in was easy and when I did call with any questions they were very helpful. Great location and tons to do right out the door. My husband is from the area and we visit frequently - we will definitely be staying here again! Room was perfect; loved the fireplace in the room which made it so cozy and the bed was extremely comfortable. It’s very rare when both my husband and I agree we slept great when traveling.
