The remodeled rooms are nicely done. The breakfast area is nice and the breakfast had a good variety. The pool is an indoor pool which we were not aware of until we arrived. It was closed when we were there because ‘something had broken down’ which turned out to be a blessing since it was extremely warm and humid in the pool room. The pool room is directly off the front lobby so everyone coming and going passes right by the wall of windows. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and it’s very convenient to Choctaw Casino.

FYI: no elevator, just 2 floors, if you're on floor 2, stairs only. The room was clean, a/c was working great, nice & cool. Nice hot breakfast included. This was our second time staying here in 3 months. I would stay here again.

Hotel was great!! It’s less than a half a mile from the casino. My room was clean and comfy. The only thing I have to say is the hotel did not have an elevator. It’s two floors and you have to use the stairs. But other than that, great hotel!!! Also, they have breakfast in the morning. I didn’t eat so I can’t say how the food was.

I only booked this one because it had an in door pool not knowing they only open the pool during warm months. To me that makes no sense to have an indoor pool if they can’t open it. We stayed a week and couldn’t even swim. I even bought everyone bathing suits before we left. I loved everything else but really disappointed we didn’t get to swim.

The room had a weird smell as soon as we enter. And when we went to bed the bedding was damp, musty like. The next morning i picked up my clothing of the corner of the bed just across from the ac and my jeans had wet spots and my under garments were damp. Floor was filthy,(i had new white socks and put them on and they were very dirty after 15 minutes of walking around in the room.

Toilet was running, bed was lumpy, room had that typical older hotel smell of dampness, and bathroom looked like it needed an upgrade. We stayed on the first floor and got to listen to the upstairs neighbor stomp around the room for hours. Breakfast was fine, staff was good, and parking was ok. We had gotten a notice from the hotel saying 90% of the rooms had recently been renovated; maybe we got a room in the 10% that hadn't been. It was half the price of staying at the casino after the concert we attended, but didn't feel anywhere near $1

The room was very clean and the bed was great quality. Having a nice chair in the room (in addition to desk chair) was nice. The blackout curtains could be better because there’s a lot of light from the parking lot, but I’m also grateful for having a well lit lot. Check in was smooth. I didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked decent.

Luxury accommodations. Clean. A/C worked very well. Showers had good pressure and could good get very nice and hot. Breakfast is served early (6am), but also finishes too early (9:am) --would prefer it to finish 9:45-10:00am. Really like the fresh Strawberries & Blueberries And Whipped cream for the Waffles! The Brunette Young Woman staff person at Check-in was kind, sweet and helpful. Location is well lit, safe & had great access. If you like gambling, the huge Choctaw Casino is 5 mins or less away. Fishing at a Local Atoka Lake reservoir is only 15 minutes south. Rooms were quiet and elevator & stair doors close quietly. Pillows were very good. The Bed was a little softer than I like, but that varies by individual. Would stay here again.

Everything we needed including a nice, warm breakfast. We heard a train whistle at night but the bed was so comfy, it didn’t phase me much. WiFi was strong enough for work and very close to Durant. This is my 4th night and I plan to stay again.

Everything was fine except the TV in the room would not turn on. We called the front desk and got the excuse of “ there was lightning and it affected some TVs in some rooms. “ I told my husband that I have read a review which mentioned that with this hotel. Guess that’s always an excuse but it makes a big difference with a hotel stay especially if the customer is used to having TV on to relax. Positive comment? The fridge in the room is bigger in size than the usual.

I was informed the day off my stay that there was no cable, only streaming. They were nice enough to give me a courtesy call. Thank you for that. Other than that, the front receptionist was very pleasant & informative.

Check in as ok, tried to tell me that we owed another 90$ but presented the receipt where I paid online and she took care of it. Asked for a $75 incidental charge - paid that. At 10:30pm after we were in bed another lady called our room and said we needed to come and pay the $75 incidental charge. Explained I already paid. I got up and went to the front desk. Was told she would vouch for me and everything was fine. I told her I would check the credit card online and she said it was not necessary.. But I could if I wanted to. I did and the charge was there. She apologized for calling so late to our room.

It was great up until About 3 o’clock Monday morning when an extremely loud fire/smoke alarm went off waking me up out of my deep and comfortable sleep. Front desk said it was some sort of malfunction that has also happened last week and they apologized for the false alarm, now it’s hard for me to get back to a good sleep not knowing it it will go off again. Then when we got up for breakfast around 7:45 they had run out of all the hot breakfast items except the sausage gravy. So I let the front desk know and because upper management only had 1 person working and bless her heart Mrs. Stephaniey left the front desk to go prepare more food for the guests, she was doing an awesome job of trying to accommodate everyone, she’s only 1 person and the only 1 working the morning shift! Upper management dropped the ball on making sure the hotel was staffed with enough staff to accommodate guests especially doing breakfast, running out of food is unheard of ! NOT a good look for the Best Western brand, I would have recommended this hotel and given it all good stars except for those 2 very important issues. Hopefully upper management will get those issues addressed and resolved and I may return!!!! Right now I just don’t know

Check in was long and horrible. Expedia couldn't confirm my virtual card on record; therefore, they had to be called. It took a long time for the clerk just to find a number. They're almost impossible to get in touch with. They then said to take just my regular card. It took way too long!

The staff member was a woman when I arranged my stay. My family went ahead of me to check out the room because we are both handicapped. It was Thanksgiving and she gave me nothing to be thankful for. Her abrupt rudeness to my partner before I arrived was beyond unacceptable. She told me partner she could see the room or rent the room because if she was loca citizen,l best western will not rent to her because of a drug problem that you have at your establishment. Being a holiday, in all her brilliance it didn't cross her precious mind that local citizens are assisting out of town guests and family. I arrived checked in and this woman quickly exited.while my family member waited outside as to not cause a scene after being offended and disrespected. There was no attempt at a apology of any type. Best Western you have to do better and demand better, expect better of some of your rude inconsiderate staff or make staffing adjustments there.My next choice may not be arranged if you can't rectify how offended we were but always was before. So thank you Best Western Halito Calera Ok. Thanks for such a end to a hectic holiday.. for all we received however inappropriate and offensive...HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We stayed here when we visited for a concert at Choctaw. The location was perfect, so close you could see Choctaw and easy to get to/from the concert. The desk staff was very courteous and nice and breakfast the next morning was lovely. Clean rooms and very nice hotel overall. We will stay again when we come back!

The location is clean and the staff was friendly. There is no elevator to take you to the second floor rooms. The tv did not work in our room. It kept saying there was no signal. Breakfast was scheduled for 6:00 to 10:00. We got down there at 8:30 and they were already out of biscuits, eggs, and waffle batter. The hostess did not have more to bring out. She cleaned up and removed the empty containers.

We needed a place to stay while our house was being remodeled and our 5th-wheel was in the shop for a couple of nights. We knew the owner and the reviews were good, so we chose Best Western Halito Inn. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and the bedding was super comfortable, not to mention the price was great! The only thing I might like to see improved upon is the breakfast. Although it was supposed to be from 6-9am, there was absolutely nothing left at 8:35am the first morning. Another family asked for items to be replenished, but I didn't have time to wait, so I don't know if it was or not.

My sons and I really enjoyed our stay at this property when visiting Choctaw Casino. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was very friendly and professional, and the breakfast was delicious ! Fresh waffles, biscuits, sausage, eggs, fruit, and other options as well! We will definitely be visiting this property again in the near future when we have the opportunity!
