There is check in from 4 PM and check out latest 11 AM. The hotel has at least 40 stories and only three elevators. At departure it takes a long time to catch an elevator. The hotel could offer more checkout times to put less pressure on departure. It took me over 10 minutes to get an elevator down with several full. Once I got an elevator it stopped at basically every story but was full and could take no passengers..

This Doubletree is a good property. The staff and service was great. The location is good lots of restaurants, accessible public transportation, both subway bus in ferry however there is one major issue only three elevators for a very large hotel so we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator, either at the ground floor or at the floor where our room once I don’t know if there’s a The location is great, with numerous restaurants and accessible public transportation, including the subway, bus, and ferry. We visited for one evening with my teen daughter and niece to shop and see the City touristy stuff, and it was perfect. The room was CLEAN, like really clean, and it was really quiet. We were on the 41st floor out of 43 with a great view of the Freedom Tower and just blocks from the best bagels in NYC and the Wall Street Bull. The only drawback was the elevator system, which provided only three elevators for a lot of people, so being so high up, we were not able to take the stairs realistically. Also, we brought a car and, not going to lie, it was a pain. The parking was about a 10-15 minute walk, although it says five, and the garage was not the most convenient. It was also $105 for less than 24 hours with validated parking by the hotel. Basically, parking was the worst of the trip... hotel itself was in a great location and I felt safe.

Nice hotel in a good area with walking distance from a lot of things. Close to subway. A lot of shopping possibilities nearby and the Italian restaurant in the same building was great and is also serving as breakfast restaurant. However - note the dinner is way better than the breakfast. Breakfast ok as American standard though. Only problem was the elevators. Only 3 of them in a 43 floor building. Once we waited 35 minutes before we were able to get an elevator that was not already full. Lived on 42nd floor, so the stairs was not really an option.

Great location. Rooms are expectedly small and the prices are large - but comparable to the competition. The elevators are small and often full when the door opens. There is no parking on-site. The parking they suggest is very expensive and a bit of a walk away so I wouldn’t suggest it for anyone with mobility issues. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience and of course, free warm cookies.

Our stay at DoubleTree by Hilton was pleasant overall. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout, which we truly appreciated. However, the cleanliness standards left room for improvement. At one point, the corridor had an unpleasant odour. Once reported, the team responded promptly, took ownership of the issue, and arranged for the carpet to be cleaned and shampooed. Their swift action was commendable, though we hope to see more consistent upkeep in future stays.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, able to answer questions asked. The free check in cookies were really tasty! The double room was nice, a little small, but clean (mostly). There was a water test on the day we arrived which shut off the water and when it came back on, there was dirty water that make the sink, shower, and toilet dirty. The sink didn’t get fully cleaned the next day (spots still showing from the water test). It was really quiet, which was nice, and check out was easy. There were 4 of us staying in the room and we were only given 3 towels, and had to call for extra each day, which was a little inconvenient. When we ran out of toilet paper it wasn’t replenished during the daily room clean, so we had to call for that too, which was also a little disappointing. Overall, a nice stay in a convenient location.

The woman who checked me in was extremely rude and bigoted against foreign visitors, as she was visibly exasperated when I said my last name. To top off my $400 a night stay, I found two roaches in the room. I'm gonna guess the woman at the lobby had a hand in putting me there. I'm glad I'm out of this pigpen and I'm never coming back

Front desk and staff were all very good. Room was basic but clean, a little worn but nothing too bad. Area was great, near really good subways. Only thing that let this down was we weren't able to check in until an hour or two after due to, a lot of a waiting around as a result, we put our bags away but after a long trip we just wanted to wash off and get out and about. The room was tiny for being a suite. The restroom was more like a broom closet; I could barely stand in the shower without hitting my elbow against the glass. None of the wall plug-ins would work properly. It was very close to the subway and had several close restaurants/bars. The room itself was clean. Parking was not located on site, but a few blocks away. People complained about the elevators, but we were on the 4th floor, so it wasn't a big deal, but there are 40+floors, so I would guess those floors took longer to get to.

Great location, nice shampoo and soaps, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was super friendly... However, for business travel, I'd be wary of privacy issues if you're having online meetings. The guest in the room beside me was a nightmare and got up at 5:30AM and talked on her phone on the loudest speaker setting to her relatives for an hour and a half. There was little to no sound proofing between rooms and I heard everything and was woken up. The elevators were slow but not a deal breaker. The cookies were fabulous.

Staff was excellent, courteous and attentive. The room was small, but clean and always smelled great from the restaurant’s aromas. Plus, I only needed it to rest and shower, so it did the job perfectly! Another positive was that it was centrally located to many attractions, like the Raging Bull, Wall Street, Joe’s Pizza, and more!

Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating they allowed for a lower floor room. Felt welcomed, the cookie at check in was a nice touch. The room was on the smaller side but comfortable for two people and two suitcases. It’s expected for the city. I wish there was fridge in the room wasted a lot of leftovers. Bathroom was a suitable and was clean. Modern design. Neighborhood felt safe and not too busy. There was some decent food places nearby.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for his birthday weekend. We chose the hotel because I’ve stayed there before and I loved it and the location is so convenient, BUT this time around, it was even better. The staff was nothing less than amazing. Every single encounter we had was incredible. They were all so sweet and helpful. And they helped me surprise my boyfriend for his birthday which I am eternally grateful for. Pretty disappointed. The website said there's valet parking but actually none. We arrived at night around 9pm, have to park in a parking lot several blocks away . With hotel validation we paid $58/night for parking. My husband had to walk back to hotel. We paid over $400 a night but basically no service at all at this hotel. Even no water offered in the room, you have to buy at lobby for $3. All Hilton hotel around the world offer free water. I told front desk I am Hilton Hornor member and she offered me two free water for the first night. The room is quite small and only two elevator working most of the time. You have to wait for quite some time to get to your room if it's rush hour. The phone in the room either is not working or no one answer the phone. We tried to call for help getting luggage downstairs but not successful. The only good thing is location, you can walk around wall street. Won't stay in the future

A very clean hotel that is really close to many restaurants and to the subway station. I was able to go to a business event two days in a row that was walking distance from the hotel. It is also walking distance to the ferry station and to the Battery park from where you can see the Statue of Liberty in the distance. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Manhattan.

If you are looking for a great place to stay away from this hustle of Times Square, head for FiDi - the Financial District - in Lower Manhattan. The DoubleTree Hilton on Stone Street is the perfect location; just a short walk to Battery Park for trips to the Statue of Liberty - or even better, the FREE Staten Island ferry which gives you the perfect view of Manhattan as you sail. The hotel is also just around the corner from the Wall Street Bull and is within walking distance of the World Trade Center. Close by are amenities you may need, not least a pharmacy, and plenty of places to eat. The hotel itself if stylish, the rooms having laminate floors instead of the traditional carpet which can often show staining. The rooms have fantastic air conditioning, very comfortable beds and, as I discovered right at the end of my three-day stay, a fridge in the desk drawer. Now that would’ve been nice to know earlier given it was 39C (102F) during my stay. As you enter the hotel, there is a place to leave your bags, should you be early, and for when you have time to take in more of New York before your flight home should it be later in the day. All in all, as you can no doubt tell, I would most certainly book another stay here next time I’m in town.

I really liked the location. It was within walking distance of the main spots. However, one thing I didn’t like was that when I booked my room, along with options like Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, it also showed breakfast. But when I got there, I found out breakfast wasn’t included and had to be paid for separately. That was disappointing. If it’s not part of the package, why show it as if it is?

Our flight was delayed so we had to find a place to stay over night. We chose this holiday and our stay was great! The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. Check in was ways and the restaurant at the hotel made it easy to get a quick bite for dinner. They offer a little later check out so that helped with our delayed flight. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is simple with all the basic amenities like gym, a lobby with snacks and a restaurant in the first floor. Rooms are not noise proof so you will hear your neighbor if they are not quiet.
