La Casona Real was a great place to stay! Fairly close to the city center and right around the corner from a couple of grocery stores. The breakfast by the pool was a perfect way to start the day! Recommend asking for an inside facing room as the bar across the street plays loud music pretty late and from an interior room you can't hardly hear it. Tha ladies who work there a very pleasent and accommodating! Highly recommend!

The staff was great. Ours was one of 2 or 3 rooms rented in the hotel. We got a nice room with a king bed and refrigerator on the inner courtyard. Thank goodness, the outer rooms would have been too noisy. The staff was great in finding us 2 pillows without feathers, however it would have been great to have a few more pillows in the king bed. The pool and pool area was nice. However, they were building a new stairway and the little time we wanted to use the pool the worker was too noisy grinding the cement block for us to enjoy it. I was dramatically plugging my ears in hopes they would have him take a break, but no luck. We will go back. It was a good value to enjoy downtown after a scuba trip on the south end of the island. We love so many restaurants in St. Miguel. It was fun.

I booked a room for one night after having a nightmare with my Airbnb. I requested an early check-in and my room was ready 2 hours early. I was upgraded to another room that was ready rather than having to wait for the room I paid for. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The next morning I ate a complimentary breakfast which was much better than I was expecting. Choice of eggs and a protein with orange juice and a full pitcher of coffee left on the table. The server was friendly and efficient. The only negatives I have is the toilet was placed in a very narrow alcove and the floor around the toilet wasn’t especially clean. There was a dresser that doubled as a tv stand that had a caved in broken drawer. The biggest negative was a bar across the street that was blasting music at a ridiculous unnecessary volume in the evening. I was watching Netflix on my phone, had a loud ceiling fan plus the a/c and I couldn’t even hear it until I stepped out in the hall to take photos for my review. The music was so loud you would of thought there was a band with massive amplifiers in the lobby. Back into my room which was a third of the way down the hall, in the back, facing the pool and the music was amazingly muffled. The doors are heavy and thick. You definitely want a pool facing room at least halfway down the hall. The hotel is decorated with interesting, local art that adds to the personality of the hotel. I would stay here again if I was guaranteed a room in the back.

The hotel is funky as one would expect from the photos. It looks like they are undergoing some renovations in the courtyard area. If you get a room facing 25th, the Cantina across is very loud until the wee hours of the morning. The bed and pillows were quite hard. The room was clean and the shower pressure was OK.

It's a small boutique hotel, aside from the pool, nit much to its name. The rooms are all right, comfortable enough, even if some of the fittings are worn and loose (they did get fixed when I pointed them out, though). The bar across the corner is a little loud, can be heard throughout the hotel at night, but if you're tired enough, it won't make you lose sleep. Power sockets are a little awkwardly placed, but an extension cord makes quick work of these. Staff was super friendly, they didn't mind my early breakfast, and even managed to get a lost item to me at the airport in time for my flight! Overall, you get what you pay for, but this place is well-worth its price point.

Beds were comfy, and the room was clean. It’s a short walk from the centre but we were happy to be away from the noise. It had a fridge which was so useful but no safe. They did offer a safe in reception. Our door’s handle was so dodgy and found it difficult to lock/open. Didn’t feel safe to be honest but nothing happened.

Five minutes from the airport, and a ten-minute walk to the pier. Staff is very friendly, and there’s a great vibe—the two very lazy cats just casually chilling on the reception desk, for instance. We had the large suite, which was fantastic—big kitchen with toaster oven, microwave, blender, coffee machine, etc. Dining table that easily doubles as a work station if you need to be available. Clean, quiet, bright, AC. We’ll definitely stay here again in our next trip.

O quarto é horrível, tinha barata e varias lacraias (uma estava escondida nos lençóis da cama!!!). O que salvou foi a área do café da manhã, ao lado da piscina.

This hotel was a great find. The room was clean, spacious, updated and the price was great. The breakfast area by the pool was a wonderful way to start the day. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Only a few blocks away from the ferry with a grocery store right around the corner.

I booked a room for one night after having a nightmare with my Airbnb. I requested an early check-in and my room was ready 2 hours early. I was upgraded to another room that was ready rather than having to wait for the room I paid for. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The next morning I ate a complimentary breakfast which was much better than I was expecting. Choice of eggs and a protein with orange juice and a full pitcher of coffee left on the table. The server was friendly and efficient. The only negatives I have is the toilet was placed in a very narrow alcove and the floor around the toilet wasn’t especially clean. There was a dresser that doubled as a tv stand that had a caved in broken drawer. The biggest negative was a bar across the street that was blasting music at a ridiculous unnecessary volume in the evening. I was watching Netflix on my phone, had a loud ceiling fan plus the a/c and I couldn’t even hear it until I stepped out in the hall to take photos for my review. The music was so loud you would of thought there was a band with massive amplifiers in the lobby. Back into my room which was a third of the way down the hall, in the back, facing the pool and the music was amazingly muffled. The doors are heavy and thick. You definitely want a pool facing room at least halfway down the hall. The hotel is decorated with interesting, local art that adds to the personality of the hotel. I would stay here again if I was guaranteed a room in the back.

The hotel is funky as one would expect from the photos. It looks like they are undergoing some renovations in the courtyard area. If you get a room facing 25th, the Cantina across is very loud until the wee hours of the morning. The bed and pillows were quite hard. The room was clean and the shower pressure was OK.

It's a small boutique hotel, aside from the pool, nit much to its name. The rooms are all right, comfortable enough, even if some of the fittings are worn and loose (they did get fixed when I pointed them out, though). The bar across the corner is a little loud, can be heard throughout the hotel at night, but if you're tired enough, it won't make you lose sleep. Power sockets are a little awkwardly placed, but an extension cord makes quick work of these. Staff was super friendly, they didn't mind my early breakfast, and even managed to get a lost item to me at the airport in time for my flight! Overall, you get what you pay for, but this place is well-worth its price point.

I found staff friendly. I asked for dining options and was advised of a number of places around the hotel. The Elektra store was 1 block away, so I was able to exchange money from the Azteca cashier. Room was comfortable for my 3 night stay.

I’m terrible with names because I did not remember everyone’s name. But I want to start off by saying there were two gentlemen that work the front Desk the three days I stayed both were extremely nice and helpful. There was a lady that cooked the breakfast and some of the housekeeping ladies they all were very nice. I felt like family to the point when I left I was giving the housekeeping ladies hugs. Now that’s out the way😊… The hotel is right in the middle of downtown you’re close to restaurants shopping everything. I felt very safe. My room was very clean and everything worked as it should AC shower TV refrigerator. The breakfast was very decent something to get you started for your day. I’m definitely returning. I want to say thank you to everyone that I encountered during my stay here you all were amazing😘😘😘

This is my second time staying here. Every time i come to cozumel i will stay here! The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is near everything. My room is clean and everything works! I feel safe and i definitely will return! Thank ALL OF YOU

Five minutes from the airport, and a ten-minute walk to the pier. Staff is very friendly, and there’s a great vibe—the two very lazy cats just casually chilling on the reception desk, for instance. We had the large suite, which was fantastic—big kitchen with toaster oven, microwave, blender, coffee machine, etc. Dining table that easily doubles as a work station if you need to be available. Clean, quiet, bright, AC. We’ll definitely stay here again in our next trip.

The staff was great. Ours was one of 2 or 3 rooms rented in the hotel. We got a nice room with a king bed and refrigerator on the inner courtyard. Thank goodness, the outer rooms would have been too noisy. The staff was great in finding us 2 pillows without feathers, however it would have been great to have a few more pillows in the king bed. The pool and pool area was nice. However, they were building a new stairway and the little time we wanted to use the pool the worker was too noisy grinding the cement block for us to enjoy it. I was dramatically plugging my ears in hopes they would have him take a break, but no luck. We will go back. It was a good value to enjoy downtown after a scuba trip on the south end of the island. We love so many restaurants in St. Miguel. It was fun.

Great staff. Everyone we interacted with was extremely nice. Great location a few blocks away from tourist area, but easily walkable to ferry, cruise ship dock, and many restaurants. Good breakfast prepared and served poolside by we had a good poolside breakfast made by Miriam. She is very very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay at La Casona Real next time we're in Cozumel.

This hotel was a great find. The room was clean, spacious, updated and the price was great. The breakfast area by the pool was a wonderful way to start the day. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Only a few blocks away from the ferry with a grocery store right around the corner.

La Casona Real was a great place to stay! Fairly close to the city center and right around the corner from a couple of grocery stores. The breakfast by the pool was a perfect way to start the day! Recommend asking for an inside facing room as the bar across the street plays loud music pretty late and from an interior room you can't hardly hear it. Tha ladies who work there a very pleasent and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Have stayed at La Casona Real several times for SCUBA diving trips to Cozumel. The property is ideal for travelers that spend the majority of their time out doing activities during the day and enjoying the local restaurants in the evening. Back into my room which was a third of the way down the hall, in the back, facing the pool and the music was amazingly muffled. The doors are heavy and thick. You definitely want a pool facing room at least halfway down the hall. The hotel is decorated with interesting, local art that adds to the personality of the hotel. I would stay here again if I was guaranteed a room in the back.

Great staff. Everyone we interacted with was extremely nice. Great location a few blocks away from tourist area, but easily walkable to ferry, cruise ship dock, and many restaurants. Good breakfast prepared and served poolside by we had a good poolside breakfast made by Miriam. She is very very friendly and helpful. We plan to stay at La Casona Real next time we're in Cozumel.

It's a small boutique hotel, aside from the pool, nit much to its name. The rooms are all right, comfortable enough, even if some of the fittings are worn and loose (they did get fixed when I pointed them out, though). The bar across the corner is a little loud, can be heard throughout the hotel at night, but if you're tired enough, it won't make you lose sleep. Power sockets are a little awkwardly placed, but an extension cord makes quick work of these. Staff was super friendly, they didn't mind my early breakfast, and even managed to get a lost item to me at the airport in time for my flight! Overall, you get what you pay for, but this place is well-worth its price point.

The hotel is a family business. The staff made us feel very uncomfortable watching our every move. Also, the staff had their people come into the hotel who were not staying there. They made guest feel like we were disturbing them. As a paying costumer this is unacceptable. They let the kids run wild and disturb the guest. They clearly didn't want any outsiders intruding on their activities in the common areas. There were roaches in the bathroom 🚻 and the shower was unclean. I would not recommend this hotel. Nor will I ever be staying here again. If I could I could give lower than 1 star I would. Also, your valuable items might be stolen according to their sign.

These folks treated us like family. They were kind and accommodating, and the hotel is clean, well-kept, and in a great location. Checkout was noon, but they allowed me to hang out at the pool until my husband returned from his diving trip a few hours later.nice people.

Clean, beautiful, spacious room, very attentive and welcoming staff, the service is A+++ (just for that alone, you'd want to come back); botted drinking water; the amenities were not the best, but the staff did everything possible to make our stay more enjoyable, they even bought and installed a brand new hand held shower for us. We had a room with the kitchenette and all the appliances were new, full size refrigerator. *One star off for the amenities and dated cabinets, no hair dryer, but overall, pleasant stay, good location within a short walking distance from downtown, stores and restaurants, although some 5 min from the airport, it was quiet, we even forgot how close we were to the airport. THANK YOU!
