Excellent breakfast fresh food and served quickly. Friendly staff. Not so enamoured with all the steps at the front of the hotel not disabled friendly. There was a door leading off the car park but still had steps to negotiate. Otherwise it was a nice stay and was made to feel welcome.

Really nice hotel to stay in. The staff and room were excellent and bar meal and breakfast really good. The location was excellent with coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and great shops all around. The parking at the hotel is tight so glad we only have a small car. We are looking forward to returning soon

Breakfast made to order, lovely hot fresh food! Excellent, bar & staff served variety of beers & drinks all reasonably priced. Room & en-suite top standard & clean. Will definitely return. Thank you! Only problem I had was slipping over in bathroom & bruised ribs😩

Really friendly staff. Lovely pub bar with Casque Marque cellar cool ales. An absolutely fantastic breakfast. Menu looked good and one would need to book. I’ve stayed in a number of Malvern hotels, all of which were good but I shall look no further when staying in Malvern again.

A retro hotel but a very high standard. Excellent food - the pies are not too e missed! A good Bar area. Really good breakfast. I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Malvern area

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. It was clean, well equipped, with a massive and modern bathroom. The room had a king size bed which was nice (lots of hotels only have doubles), it was kept warm, and had good tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were polite and helpful, checkin was quick and easy, and the location was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was very nice, it was freshly cooked with high quality ingredients. We didnt stay for any evening meals or drinks in the bar, but the bar area looked nice and like it would be a pleasant place to spend the evening. I would happily stay here again.

My stay at the hotel was more than I expected service was great and staff went above an beyond to help in anyway they could ,could of done with a little bit more detail to cleanliness in rooms regarding mirrors work surfaces but apart from that you had everything you needed beds were clean and never once felt uncomfortable in the slightest and breakfast was superb I would recommend this hotel to anyone very under rated look forward to going back great job guys xxxx

10/10 excellent very friendly staff loved the hotel dog ❤️great location and free parking which was a bonus. The cleanliness second to none spoitless, lovely little touches in the room bottle of water sweets chocolates and biscuits. Breakfast was lovely tasty and hot. Will definitely book again.

Very clean room (8a) and what seemed to be a newly refurbed bathroom. Good selection of tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Decent biscuits and even some sweets ! Good selection of beers in the bar and good food. the bar has a proper pub feel which is nice. Very good breakfast menu (included in my room) friendly service and best of all, a request that patrons don't use mobile phones in the breakfast room. I have stayed here before and will do so again. I suggest that you, dear reader, stay here too.

Nice older building. Despite the nicks, dings, old furnishings, and imperfections the hotel has a very nice atmosphere. Additionally, the staff are all exceptionally nice. I suggest visiting the bar if you enjoy a nice quiet conversation with a pint. There was a great selection of beers. I would highly recommend a visit to the Great Malvern Priory church. I'm not religious but the building is beautiful and packed with history. Unfortunately, there is some not so great items to note. The housekeeping was not good. In my opinion, the universal standard for replacing towels is to leave them in the shower/tub or on the floor which I did on two days. On one of these days the staff placed the used towels back on the towel rack and no fresh towels were given. No excuse for this type of action in the service industry. Also, the floor of my room was dirty upon arrival and never vacuumed during a 5 night stay. I did request a vacuuming but only one room was done. Full trash cans were not emptied daily. Lastly, the bedding was never changed during my stay. I requested a bedding change on the third day. The young lady simply removed the top sheet and never replaced it. The Great Malvern Hotel is a nice hotel and I would recommend it to others but that recommendation would come with a room cleanliness caution.

The hotel was lovely in a fab location the room was delightful clean spacious plenty of towels lush bed fridge iron etc the management & staff couldn’t do enough for you !! And breakfast choices were excellent we didn’t have dinner as we went to see family near by but menu looked very nice

Arrived at 4 on a Saturday and although we had been warned about the car park being small, there were spaces available. Reception was polite, quick and efficient, including a reservation for an evening meal. The room was large (room 5) and clean with a newly refitted bathroom, comfortable beds and blackout blinds. It was also quiet, despite being situated in the town centre just a short walk from theatres and a beautiful park. Breakfast was cooked to order with a large choice. Also veggie friendly. Will definitely be back.

Lovely hotel ideally located for the theatre at Malvern , easy parking, reception was easy , gave all information needed . Room was lovely, great views , exceptionally clean , bed very comfortable, nice bed linen. , lots of treats. Hot chocolate , retro sweets , nice biscuits. Bathroom very large. , had a lovely bath . Product in bathroom nice quality , not disposable items so environmentally friendly . Bar staff great nice friendly place used by locals who were very welcoming . Recommend the pork scratching. Prices were reasonable. didn’t have dinner but after the amazing breakfast wished I had . Breakfast was exceptional, very warm and friendly service . Cooked to perfection. Excellent presentation. I would highly recommend the Great Malvern Hotel and will definitely be revisiting it .

Just a one night stay, but the hotel is a nice, old building with friendly staff. Decent lift up to my third floor bedroom. Think I had a King-Size room and it was comfortable, with a good bed, desk, smart TV. Coffee and biscuits provided, and the sweets were a nice touch. Good, large bathroom and shower. Breakfast the next day was very good. I had the museli and a cooked breakfast. Homemade museli was first rate, and the cooked breakfast also high quality. Portion size also generous, really sets you up for the day. Owners Jeremy and Rani are friendly and I get the impression would go out of their way to ensure guests have a nice stay. Jeremy's banter with the guests while taking breakfast orders was funny and a nice way to start the day. Great location too, two minutes walk from the Abbey. So, all in all, recommended!

1) Decor - quality, tasteful and considered down to the very minutest detail. From wallpaper to lamps and blackout curtains. Beautiful double glazed sash windows. 2) Comfort. Everything felt crisp, clean, warm and friendly 3) Hospitality - Great place run by real people, and unique characters. Attentive, witty, generous. It’s a tight ship and a lot of fun. 4) Lovely atmosphere in the bar where we had a delicious dinner.

We loved everything about our stay. We got a free upgrade to the Hideaway at the top of the hotel - it was huge a whole flat with smart TVs and was so comfortable. All the staff, Jeremy and Rebecca were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding - all cooked to order with loads of choice which puts larger expensive hotels to shame. Dinner in the bar area was also excellent - good quality food - they had a menu celebrating asparagus as it has just come into season and is grown locally. We had such a perfect weekend celebrating a birthday thanks to the Great Malvern Hotel.

Nothing to fault with the whole experience. Polite, informative and efficient check in. Excellent room, clean, tidy and with all the extras required to provide a very comfortable stay. Finally, the breakfast was impeccable in regards to quality of ingredients, preparation and presentation. Also to be looked after by someone so professional who clearly loves his role and interacting with people.

Family service so friendly. New staff Benji on meet and greet is doing great work during his apprenticeship. Extremely comfortable and so clean for a period property. Busy with locals, good bar selections and food delicious . Parking limited but we were lucky. Rooms good size sockets, hot drinks and water. Good lighting. Bathroom looks new, it’s so clean. Has shelves for specs and wash stuff. A lift if needed . Wonderful and we are going again. Malvern has much to offer.

Fantastic location with great hospitality from everyone we met during our short staycation. Well-priced, safe and clean. High street shops located within good walking distance. Breakfast was wonderful, enjoyed our stay thoroughly ! Will definitely visit again 😁 thank you !

Just a one night stay, but the hotel is a nice, old building with friendly staff. Decent lift up to my third floor bedroom. Think I had a King-Size room and it was comfortable, with a good bed, desk, smart TV. Coffee and biscuits provided, and the sweets were a nice touch. Good, large bathroom and shower. Breakfast the next day was very good. I had the museli and a cooked breakfast. Homemade museli was first rate, and the cooked breakfast also high quality. Portion size also generous, really sets you up for the day. Owners Jeremy and Rani are friendly and I get the impression would go out of their way to ensure guests have a nice stay. Jeremy's banter with the guests while taking breakfast orders was funny and a nice way to start the day. Great location too, two minutes walk from the Abbey. So, all in all, recommended!

Really friendly staff. Lovely pub bar with Casque Marque cellar cool ales. An absolutely fantastic breakfast. Menu looked good and one would need to book. I’ve stayed in a number of Malvern hotels, all of which were good but I shall look no further when staying in Malvern again.

Fantastic hotel in town centre at the base of Malvern Hills. We were made very welcome on arrival on checking in and at breakfast. 5 * breakfast before ascending the nearby Malvern Hills. Highly recommended and staff were very informative. We hope to be returning when back in the UK. Thanks to all staff.
