The hotel could do with a refurbishment of the corridors and communal areas. The carpets are dated, worn, and not that clean. The parking is limited. Good commuter hotel. Soundproofing works from the outside but not as good from room to room.

Room was clean and well laid out, but beds were not that comfortable. Breakfast offered a good selection. Looks like some sort of work is being carried out in/around the hotel at the moment, so a good portion of the carpark is being used for the portacabins and work area.

Overall it was good for the price, reception staff vg, rooms clean, shower good, BUT one pillow is just not right and because of the one pilloew you also notice the quality of the mattress is not the best.....do two pillows each and you might not notice the mattress quite as much. Breakfast was quite good as well. £10 parking charge as well.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Air conditioned room was bliss in extreme heat of this travelling day. Small bar but managed very well also restaurant basic but good. Parking also good.

We’ve stayed before and the staff are very good and friendly the rooms are clean beds a little low for us but otherwise good showers could do with anti slip mats but overall we found everything good breakfast choice good only other downside lifts broke on second day but luckily they were fixed morning we left

While the property was clean and tidy the staff friendly it was let down by the property being next to a working railway line that seemed to have maintenance going on from around 12 pm till 3 am which made sleep difficult. Also while the room was nice there were no USB points in the room which in this day and age was surprising as was having to pay for parking

The shower seal around door in room was dirty and mould engrained. The ceiling had the beginnings of mould in bathroom. Room it self was ok. The tv remote was sticky and in need of new batteries. I would stay again as a stopover but silicone sealant in shower in need of replacement and shower door seals. Mould yik!

The hotel and the room was very clean. Beds in rooms were only doubles so if you used to bigger make sure you book a room with king size beds. Well equipped rooms.

We arrived at 11:30 at night for a late check-in as we had been to a local festival. Check in was efficient, however, our room was not clean (toe nails all over the floor) and had obviously not been vacuumed. Due to our late check in we decided not to contact reception and leave things as they were. Breakfast was also a poor selection, cold, and very busy. The location of the hotel is great though for train links to Cambridge and London.

The room was a little dated and the window allowed a fair bit of noise in from the train tracks outside. The room I had was definitely priced high, borderline unreasonable for what you got. The tv in the room was tiny. Washroom was clean and well lit. The carpets in the room had some stains, especially around the door.

The staff were brilliant. The hotel was clean and what we wanted. The bed was not at all comfortable, was lumpy and you slid away to the edge. It had a mattress topper on to detract from this. The pillows were realy lumpy and hard and the duvet was tiny. When there were 2 of you in bed there was a gap at the edge if the duvet as it was too small.

Rooms noisy next to train line. TV is from the 90s - needs updating. Placing towels in the bathroom on the towel rail rather than on the bed would be more helpful when getting out of the shower. Shower was great. Sockets on both sides of the bed would be nice. Parking charged at £7.50/night but should be free for guests and I'd look elsewhere because of that. Breakfast reasonable. Staff friendly. They also operate the Red Lion over the road so can do meals like curry, pizza, burgers etc.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. After 4 days in the UK, I can honestly say that they were the mostly friendly people I've met over here. The room was spotless and much nicer than I expected. The area is beautiful and the hotel is perfectly located to go visit areas like Cambridge or the Imperial War Museum. If I come back soon, I will absolutely be staying here again.

The staff were so kind and excellent. The only problem was there was no sign for the property so it took us 3 attempts to find it! So when we arrived the manager made us a coffee!!

Stayed only one night in visiting Duxford Air Museum, and ate out so can't comment on the food. But the hotel was excellent, right next to the railway station and M11. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, room was comfortable and had aircon. Only niggle was the overnight parking charge but overall I would thoroughly recommend it.

A great place, just a short walk from the train station. Only drawback is no dining option in the hotel. They did have pizza and curry. There was a restaurant next door, however, they were hosting a wedding and the restaurant was closed. Staff was great and quite accommodating.

The stay was excellent except for the breakfast, coffee machine broken, the staff were constantly topping up the food trays, the food in general was only just cooked I personally couldn’t eat the Hash browns (too undercooked for me) the entire service at breakfast was as if this was the staff’s first time ever of doing a breakfast sitting, very unprofessional, overall I was very disappointed.

Tired decor. Tiny TV in room similar to one I have around 15 years ago. Mould in bathroom. Poor soundproofing on windows so all noise from road and rail nearby very noticeable. Basic breakfast with terrible coffee.

Enjoyed a great 2 night stay to visit Duxford IWM. Perfect location. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Really nice bathroom and comfortable beds - we slept very well. Staff were excellent- very welcoming. We had food from the evening menu which though limited was hot and tasty. We would not hesitate to return.

Overall it was good for the price, reception staff vg, rooms clean, shower good, BUT one pillow is just not right and because of the one pilloew you also notice the quality of the mattress is not the best.....do two pillows each and you might not notice the mattress quite as much. Breakfast was quite good as well. £10 parking charge as well.
