Great location an great staff. Nice breakfast bar, an enjoyed the pool, even got to see a deer feeding in the woods behind our glass windows inside pool room. Highly recommend the hotel. An we saw several people bring in dogs but didnt hear them.

The room was reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. The heated pool was a plus after hours of driving. We stayed 4 nights . The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fine, the offerings were the same every day not much variety.

On the edge of town, not really close to any restaurants. Got pizza delivered one night. Nice but small pool area. Hallways were a little noisy; lots of door-slamming, so if there were other distractions (kids), I'm assuming it would be even louder. It's a pet-friendly hotel, and we traveled with 2 dogs. There's no way to indicate pets on the Expedia site when making reservations. We were lucky to arrive and be able to be transferred to the last pet-friendly room available (1st floor only). Call after making reservations to ensure you get a room that accommodates pets. Quiet street behind the property to walk the dogs. Breakfast looked standard, although we didn't partake. Staff was friendly.

The bathroom door wouldn't shut and the room smelled a little. We were told the pool stayed open until 10 and they turned the lights off on us at 9:30. No warning or anything, the lights just shut off. The parking lot was really muddy also.

Overall a good experience. The sheets of one bed looked dirty and had a bunch of hair in them, but the front desk lady changed the sheets!so that was remedied. The bathroom had a lot of hair on the floor. The front desk area and hallway had a very strong chemical fragrance odor so if you are sensitive to chemical fragrance this may not be the best hotel choice for you. The breakfast was good.

First off, our room key cards didn’t work. There were two other incidents where the keys didn’t work. The room was clean and pleasant. There was a slightly unpleasant smell in the room as if someone had smoked in the room. On the day of our departure, the toilet was clogged and we were not able to use it. We notified the staff and were told we had to wait for the person who took care of these problems to arrive. We had to use the bathroom in the lobby. The staff were accommodating and promised money off of our stay which happened.

The only negative thing that happened was the television stopped working. The desk clerk came to the room and did everything (checking connections etc.), that she could. It was our last night to stay and about 8:00 PM. The Hotel was full and there was no other option and we understood.

I liked everything about the property and staff. The room had a strange odor, like old or wet/dirty carpet, musty smell. The room doors close with a hard bang so sleep often interrupted by other guests coming and going. Also, once everynight, the room phone would ring one time and wake me up. Good breakfast and convenient parking.

This property is in desperate need of updates. It smelled so musty when we arrived in our room we had to turn the AC down to 60 and leave for a couple of hours to freshen it up. It was much better when we returned. There are no USB ports. Staff is very limited and not readily available at front desk. Beds are very comfortable and the room was clean.

The person at the front desk was awesome. I had forgotten there is not an elevator to the second floor. My husband and I were arguing at the bottom of the stairwell about who was going to carry our 5 pieces of luggage. Since he is 91 I did not want him to carry them up and he did not want me to carry them. The young woman at the desk apparently overheard us and offered the last room on first floor, a handicapped room. That was perfect for us! Finally we had a room with adequate electrical outlets, the water pressure was great, there was a bench to sit on in the bathroom, and the room was clean. Thank you!

We were up early and offered breakfast before they were fully done preparing, thanks for that kindness! We also had not checked before arrival to learn that there were stairs but not an elevator. The person at the desk was able to exchange our room on the upstairs for a room on the first level. Again, thank you for your kindness.

What a great stay we had at this hotel! Emily at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time! Recommended so great restaurant options, double checked on a possible list item and was such a a happy and accommodating face as we arrived! The hotel was quiet and we'll kept. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Great location for getting to all the attractions that Decorah had to offer. Will certainly stay here again.

Friendly staff, easy to check in and very flexible. My family has stayed here before and will continue to stay here when we visit. It is conveniently located in between all of the must do's near Decorah. For the most part pretty clean and reliable, comfortable space in rooms. Good area of town, near the main road but not too loud.

This hotel was in a great location in Decorah. Right next to the highway. Easy on and easy off. Breakfast was quite nice. A big variety to select and everything tasted great. I spoke with 3 staff during my stay. All 3 were pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.

Yhe staff were fantastic! Very friendly and accomadating. The breakfast was good and when soething was running low, the staff refilled in a timely manner. The room was very clean. Plenty of towels and washcloths+the beds were fantstic! I will recommend this hotel and will definately stay there again!

The hotel staff that I dealt with were friendly and professional. The breakfast had a decent selection and coffee was available throughout the day. This was an average hotel, nothing special but nothing bad either. I would stay there again.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff were incredibly kind, and seemed genuinely happy to see all the guests. Solid on-site breakfast options. Our room could have benefited from a dehumidifier, but not sure that could be helped based on the outside temperature and humidity.
