OYO Hotel Mustang Silver Spring FL

That was a very great place didn't lose power during the hurricane very kind and helpful management clean rooms pretty good sized more the enough for 4 ppl easy to access the motel parking area plenty of to go food and Walmart just across the street I definitely will be back here again

We had such a lovely stay. The hotel is a cute vintage style. Absolutely adorable. Our room was super clean with nice fluffy pillows. The owners were super nice and friendly.we met a few other guest and enjoyed our chats. We did not get to use the pool but it was clean and well maintained. Had an outdoor grill area. New full size fridge in the room was such a nice addition. We will definitely stop in again

Great place on a budget if you need somewhere to sleep. Has a pool but didn’t check it out. Room was outdated and a felt like it was falling apart a bit but worked and good price for what I needed and no bugs! I would stay again and recommend to anyone going to the area.

The staff was really nice but the property needs lots of attention especially bathroom, now the outside was nice,pool looked nice too and it was near restaurant and shopping.

The 1st room we were gicen had mold throughout the bathroom so the front desk allowed us to have another room. While this room was "cleaner," the doorknob to th3 bathroom was barely attached along with the shower fixtures. In addition, the complimenary coffee is non existent as the 1st morning we were told the front desk "forgot" to make it. The 2nd morning we were told that they didnt offer coffee. In addition, there was some type of arrest happening right in the motel parking lot as we were leaving. A man was being searched along with another man whom supposely worked the "firework tent" that was set up on the lawn next to the pool. This man enjoyed sleeping in the hotel chair at night on the grass as well.

All in all the it was a good experience. The price was cheap, owners were extremely nice. Delivering towels during our extended stay without us asking. Water was hot. With a lot of pressure. Room was clean and comfortable. Grounds were clean. Pool was very clean. The first night was a little loud. Occupant's of a room down from us got a little out of hand. I was getting worried but it wasn't long before I heard a commotion. I believe the owners stepped in and took care of it because it wasn't long and I heard them packing up and leaving. I can't blame them for other people's outburst. I do commend them for taking care of the problem. After that first night. It was a very quiet place. The only reason I gave them a lower score was the window in bathroom was broke. It allowed the summer Florida heat to come in so I had to keep that door closed. In all honesty, it wasn't that big of a deal. I did not report it and I feel if I would have they would have taken care of it immediately. I would recommend this place and I would stay there again.

The owners and staff are incredibly nice and very accommodating. The mattresses are hard spring but the linens were very clean and comfortable. The floor were just like every other hotel we have stayed at, not clean but you can only tell when you look at the bottom of your socks or feet. The pool was very nice and relaxing and parking was easy, safe and convenient. The location is excellent next to Walmart, gas stations, and all of the shopping you could need within walking or short driving distance. We would definitely stay here again and mainly because the price was right and the staff was amazing. We felt very safe and comfortable. With a little exterior paint of the structures and the mustang out front along with some landscaping, this spot would appear a ton better. Overall we were very pleased with This location.

Stayed in 120. Got bed bugs. Staff blew us off after i brought them bed bugs in the ice bucket. Horrifying experience.

Checked in the room and noticed right away that the floor was dirty, dust was visible. At the price you pay to stay at a motel you can at least expect to stay in a clean room.

This place was NASTY, UNSAFE, DIRTY, The pictures on their website is NOT what the inside of the rooms look like. When we arrived the room doors were open, lights did not work, they had old window units inside the rooms placed in the walls… not in a window… mold on walls, dirty beds, IT WAS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN. WE DID NOT EVEN TAKE OUR KIDS OR BAGS OUT OF THE CAR! People hanging outside the rooms half dressed listening to loud music, no loc on one door and door frame was crappy repair from it being kicked in, SOOO UNSAFE!!!!! We left 10 min after arriving. Hotels.com should go see the place the are advertising. We told the front desk the website photos are fake and not this hotel and they said “yes we know”.

The door that you enter the room by had several chips off of it along the sides and bottom. The room smelled musty. The sheets had stains on them. We had to put our luggage on the dirty carpet. No hangers to put your clothes on. The sink and countertop were detached from the wall and you could see the plumbing. The shower head was coming out of the wall. The towels had stains on them and felt like you were drying off with sand paper! The pictures online are not a fair representation of what the room really is today! The lobby/office area smelled like whatever spices People from India use in their food, it was hard to breathe. I do not recommend staying here.

Black mold on ceilings and throughout bathroom. Couldn't breathe by morning. Not a single light worked in the room other than the bathroom... kind of wish that one hadn't worked either. Staff was great, which is the only thing that kept this from being 1 star... otherwise this place should probably be condemned.

The first thing that comes to mind is you get what you pay for. yes, it was cheaper than most of the hotels in the area, but the bathroom was dirty. There was a window missing in the bathroom. The door's barely locked. There was mold all around the bathtub. Overall, cleanliness was not very good. When I pulled back the covers, I notice hairs on the sheets, so I do not believe they've been changed.

Owners were very friendly. Our key card was giving me issues so I had to go back to the front desk. The owner walked us back to our room and let us in. He was very nice and apologized for the building being very out of date. He asked to come in to help us with figuring out the older lighting. Again, very friendly. The room was pretty out of date as a whole. Mattresses weren’t very comfortable and were noisy. TV and WiFi worked well. I don’t want to complain much because I had an idea of what we were getting with the low price of the room. It’s definitely not fancy but you get what you pay for.

The bed was nice and comfortable. The noise level was very high about 2 am. When we tried to check out it took us 2 phone calls and about 30 minutes to get our deposit back. This hotel is off my list.

The room was clean and was everything as advertised. I only had issues connecting to the WiFi but I wasn't at the hotel long enough to really need it.

We booked online and obviously the pictures are out of date big time! Once booked you could not cancel without losing your money. The clerk at night when we got there was miserable. The room was I guess as clean as they could get it but the ceiling looked like it was going to fall down. We don’t know if the air conditioner even worked and were afraid to try. The bathroom needs lots of repair, the shower leaked onto the floor through the wall. The window was in the shower and did not close. The clerk in the morning was more pleasant. Can’t say this is somewhere I would recommend to anyone and I definitely won’t book online again without seeing the place first.

The management was amazing, however the majority of the lights in the room didn’t work and when we took a shower the morning after our stay the shower leaked all the way into the room

The pictures online do not match the property at all. The lock on the door didn’t fully lock, the AC unit was held onto the wall by foam and the bathroom had mold around the window along with a dented screen. Pictures were very deceiving. Along with very roudy loud guests all night long. The place also smelled of weed and stale cigarettes even though it is a non smoking room.

Nothing it was dirty run down no ac in the room

I just got off from work. The TV is not working and is it is hot in the room and the air is not properly working and I would like a refund so bad before it’s 3 o’clock so I can get another room please.

Ac was poor, fridge was poor

Put me in a room next to main street, so was noisy. curtains didnt close so had street lights shining in. Hot water took 5 minutes to heat up and another 5 minutes to get rid of rust. Bugs in room. Not well maintained. building is old, the problem is that it looks like it, alot of work needed. checked out early - couldnt take it... asked for receipt that I was checking out early, they would not provide. wont go back.

I never stayed because the room was dirty and front dest gave me option to see the room and said i would not be charged if i did not stay. I did not stay and they charged my card and are giving me a hard time on getting my money back.

The stay was excellent, and the staff was very courteous and helpful.

I really liked the hospitality here. The property was kept clean, and the room felt cozy and fresh. The staff showed great professionalism and made me feel comfortable.

Overall the property was fine for what I needed it for. Lot of damage repair in their bath area. Patches were horrible on the walls for the shower rod and towel rack. The bathroom definitely needs to be updated to match the rest of the room. The bed area was fine no issues. The staff on the other hand was phenomenal, should have charged the deposit but they did not, anytime I had any questions when I was checking in there were no issues whatsoever.

It was really nice !! The clerks were kind to wait for me to get back late at night to be able to check in later. Will be coming back !! 😊

The staff was not professional and had a very bad mouth and I would never go there again. Didn't want to put me downstairs cause I couldn't go up. So he got nasty

After being told that not only did I have to put a deposit down that I also had to pay 15$ per person staying In the room. The owner is super rude and extremely disrespectful.

It was close to Walmart and other important things and cheap

It's obviously an older building, but you can tell that the owners try to keep up with maintenance. They leave you alone and it's nice and quiet

This place is convenient to stay close to Silver Springs. It is very simple and old. It was clean and the front person was courteous and attentive to our request. Microwave and minifridge came handy. There is a Walmart just across the street.

Location is excellent. It is only minutes from the beautiful Silver Springs State Park and within walking distance from restaurants and shoping areas.

Staff was pleasant and even accommodated me with coffee in the morning. Had a slight problem with our door lock when we came back from buying dinner and our keycard didn't work, even after reprogramming it. Owner used a machine to let us in but then we were unable to leave the room again unless we put the curtain in front of the lock, so that really limited our visiting of the Silver Springs area. The walls were also thin and the Latinos next door kept us up most of the night while they drank and sounded like a mariachi band over there. If able to add pictures I would include the bloody curtains and the window in the bathroom that looked like someone tried to pry open to escape the room. I would rate this around ok, not a good value for what it cost to stay there and the problems we had with the neighbors and our door lock, but what can a person really expect at a hotel.
