Quality Inn Gainesville I-75

Quality Inn was close to where we needed to be, was quiet and set away from the road so not a lot of traffic close by. Special accommodations were available for my mobility issues.

Close off the highway. Easy off and to get back on. Several food options in the area but not walkable. Property felt safe. Inside entrance. Breakfast is cold cereal, yogurt, waffles and apples. Slightly updated. Room clean. Strong AC

I had a very accessible first-floor room.

I enjoyed the ease for me to get to my daily appointments via local roads. The exercise room equipment is in poor condition and really needs to be repaired or better yet replaced. Traffic congestion makes it difficult to find dinning establishments.

Having NO SIGNS clearly visible on the street made finding this location of Quality Inn I 75 in Gainesville very hard to find. Now that I know where the entrance is located, I would stay there again when in the area.

The price was right! The pool was nice and deep! The bed was very comfortable! The hotel was nice and clean and quiet! I got three nights there for like 240 bucks altogether! I went to a different spring everyday! I loved it! The people were very friendly! The only thing I wish we had was eggs and bacon for breakfast. But we had everything else. We had waffles, fruit, cereal, grits. If we would of had a hot breakfast I would have never left lol!

Great parking and personal, will stay there next year

This hotel is in need of a major update. The lobby looks nice and clean, but that’s where it stops. The carpets in the hallways are so dirty, stretched, and wrinkled you trip over the folds. There are missing tiles in the bathroom and poorly repaired walls in the room. Even the elevator looks old and tired.

Located right off of I-75 and property set away from road so seems safe. Not walkable though, which adds to the security feeling. Property seems well maintained.

The room smells like someone smoked even though it was a non- smoking room. The bed sheets were stained and the room felt very dirty. The remote was Broken😠 The staff were very polite and hard working. If I were you I’d try the hotel and if they made no changes or upgrades I wouldn’t try it again.

When i first opened my door to my room, the smell of mold & cigarettes almost knocked me over. Praying my car doesn't get broken into as well.... 10/10 wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Room and hotel are always clean. Beds are cheap and you can feel the springs. Bring some febreze or candles because the rooms have a mildew smell. Staff is nice and price is good.

The bathtub had black mold in the corners. The light fixture had hundreds of dead bugs inside it. We were told that the hotel was so fully booked we could not get clean towels. The ceiling had goop on it and the AC unit had cobwebs. The entire bottom of one of the beds was broken. Will never stay here again.

Carpet filthy all hotel smell bad.

Very outdated and room smelled like mildew. There was garbage in the can from previous guests and bathroom could use a new caulking and attn. Night desk agent was super friendly, courteous and helpful.

SO GROSS. It smelled like a gallon of air freshener was used to cover the grime and smoke. Active smoking...heavily....wasn't addressed by staff at all and truth be told the hotel should have refunded our stay. I was choking on smoke as we opened the room door in the morning. The bath tub had some glued on mat hiding a leak. This place should be condemned.

It's clean, rooms are hospitable and smells pleasant. Staff is friendly and professional.

We kept the AC in our room off, because it made the room smell stinky, musty and damp. Couldn't connect to wi-fi for 2 days on either my laptop or phone. When I mentioned this at the front desk, I was told that it was my fault for having Apple devices. Front desk said I was having problems because of Apple's poor security. This is ridiculous. By the last day of my stay I was able to connect to wi-fi (Did they reboot their router?), but transfer speeds were slow (less than 4 Mbps). Breakfast was disappointing. Will go somewhere else the next time we are in Gainesville.

Could use more sound proofing as I could here everyone in the hall ways and the traffic on the interstate even though I was on the backside of the hotel.

Everything was ok except the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were about 1/2 the size of normal pillows and the WiFi was too slow . Also some of the outlets didn’t work .

The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator kept my drinks cold. The thermostat was easy to set. The bathroom was clean and well stocked and the television had the channels I enjoy watching. The only thing I didn't like was the hassle setting up their Wi-Fi. The password was written on my key card but it didn't work. I had to go all the way back to the front desk to have the receptionist put in the Confirmation Code. I thought that was an unnecessary hassle. Except for the issue with Wi-Fi, everything else was super.

Dirty carpets, broken AC

No frills basic room.Clean but desperately needs to be updated. Very Thin walls- heard snoring and talking from next room. Breakfast was 1 waffle machine, fruit and juice. Our bed was fine but our friends had a bad one in their room. Wont stay here again.

Basic, low frills property, located just off the exit from I-75. Property was clean and my room was comfortable. My room was a bit noisy due to the traffic noise from I-75. Free breakfast options were limited to waffles, fruit and yogurt. The hotel’s per night rate was reasonable, so if you are looking for a place just to sleep this place os not a bad option.

The staff was excellent. The bed was comfy. The air conditioning worked well. The room was a bit musty smelling but clean. Maybe the carpet was giving off the odor.

The staff were the best. The went above and beyond to help my family. Thank you to the front desk, and thank you to the house keepers.

Stay away! BUGS! Rude manager/owner. I have reserved 2 rooms on this hotel. One of the rooms hade quite a few dead roaches as well a couple alive ones. That was the room that was occupied by my son and his girlfriend. They decided that this was too much for them and decided to look for another hotel. We notified the front desk and the Manager was skeptical and rushed to the room to inspect it. She got to the room and closed the door. As she comes out she stated that she could not see any bugs. My son noticed that she clearly swiped out one of the dead bugs that was on the shelf of the mini fridge not knowing that there was several of them. He collected another one and brought it to her attention. She then started to walk back in front of us toward the front desk and (UNBELIEVABLY) made the following remark: “you have high expectations, this is not the Ritz-Carlton”. That was it! I blew my top and demanded a refund of both rooms and harshly (probably with some expletives) professed my indignation not only with the big situation (it could happen), but with the total lack of customer service! STAY AWAY!

Rude check in lady. Was eating dinner while on duty and acted put out that we came in. Not a welcoming word or smile. Bathroom was old with barely a working shower.

Very clean and friendly staff. Seems like a family owned hotel and they take pride in keeping the place looking nice and the guest happy. The room was a bit outdated but very clean. I arrived early and they were able to check me in before 'check-in time" which was awesome. They offered continental breakfast in a very clean dining area. Staff was constantly cleaning the counters and wiping the tables. Will definitely recommend.

Wonderful staff and very cozy bed! Easy drive to Gainsville airport and UFlorida.

The front desk lady was very accommodating! Our first room smelled of smoke and she instantly provided a room change. Appreciated after a long travel day!

Understaffed

The staff, especially Gita (sp?) is very friendly and helpful. It was only 10 minutes from work, my house, 40 minutes away, was being worked on. Breakfast there is convenient. Our room was a bit musty and messed a bit with our sinuses, but tollerable for the nights we spent there.

Really convenience right close to the main highways and accessible for all the activities that I was doing.

Close to the interstate and within 15 minutes of downtown Gainesville and UF.

Breakfast was a bit slim, cereal or waffles

Arrival was later, easy check in, polite. Room clean, 2 queen beds very comfortable with great pillows!! Towels very nice and plentiful. Larger refrigerator working well. Ice and a variety of concessions down the hall. Breaskfast off the lobby had waffles ( very good) yogurt, fruit and cereal. No bread!!

The lobby and the front desk person were great. The room was ok but the bed was horrible. The frame made a lot of noise every time you moved. The breakfast almost isn't worth going to. Cereal and waffles. At least put some bread out for toast with jelly.

The breakfast is too limited and the mattress is very soft.
