Rox Hotel Aberdeen by Compass Hospitality

Really good location, 3 minutes walk from NCP Shiprow. Quick easy check in. My room was larger than I expected and quite comfortable. Only thing I’d comment on was that the mugs had some coffee stains on them, but it’s such a small thing.

Room was quiet and clean Had everything that was needed Staff helpful and checked that their directions were okay which they were. Hotel undergoing a revamp but didn’t deter from my stay

I had an amazing stay so quiet, cozy and very comfortable. Cleanliness would have been excellent if not for the massive cobweb over the top of curtains I immediately seen in the shadows. No safety/handrails for bath which would have benefitted me positively but none the less thoroughly enjoyed my time in my room worth every penny Receptionist was lovely very pleasant man.

All bedding etc seemed clean, but there were plastered holes in the walls, a liquid of some sorts had been thrown up the wall, and the A/C didn't switch on. We were staying 3 nights in total. After night one, our room hadn't been turned over while we were out, so we specifically asked for it after night two (mostly for clean cups and extra tea!). Unfortunately this wasn't completed by the time we got back at about 7:30pm. The receptionist was very helpful and came up to change the bedding (but somehow they had run out of teabags...)

I had the junior suite which was really spacious and comfortable. The location is good for central Aberdeen but there are some pubs nearby which meant a bit of noise from outside.
