This was hands down the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. The room was nasty. I found a chicken bone on the floor behind the trash can. Mold was very visible on the ceiling in the bathroom. The paint was peeling off the ceiling and walls. The rug in the room was coming off the floor and in one area near the bed, the concrete floor was showing and I accidentally stepped on the concrete area and my foot stuck to the floor. My advice is to sleep in your car if there are no other hotel rooms available in the area

Parking in the back in a rather creepy area. Air conditioning fan could not be turned down. The staff friendly. We had to call her to figure out why the tv wouldn't turn on. She worked on it and finally got it on.

This place is so tired, run down and smells so bad. The ceiling over the shower was coming apart, the tub had mildew around the bottom. Plus, I think they turn the hot water off at night, could only get cool water at the bathroom faucet after 10 pm. Amenities were pretty non existent, shampoo and hand cream only. There was a small microwave and fridge in the space. I did not see any plastic cups in the room, thank goodness we carry our own. The heat/air unit was not very responsive. I don't think I have ever stayed in a worse hotel/motel. There was train track behind the motel. Parking out front was very limited, bigger lot behind, small driveways to access the place. We were in Columbia for USC graduation. Every hotel/motel in the city was booked. Room rates everywhere else were sky high $400 to $500 per night. We didn't expect breakfast in bed, but I would camp out in my car before staying here again. I will say, however, the mattress was comfortable, the one and only bright spot of the whole experience. Oh, and the location was convenient to campus events. Otherwise, this place was a dump.
