This hotel was a very pleasant surprise – we absolutely loved our stay! We arrived later in the evening and were warmly welcomed, which set a great tone right away. The happy hour with a glass of wine was a lovely touch. We were in town for a wedding and found the location perfect. The rooms were very clean and had a cozy, intimate feel. I especially loved the soft blue lighting throughout the hotel – it created such a relaxing atmosphere. The fireplace in our room added a warm, inviting touch as well. The only downside was that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and a full-size mattress would’ve been nicer if it were a bit larger. However, the pillows were great! The rooftop pool offered a beautiful view of the town and was very clean. We were able to walk to beach, & the town for breakfast, and there was a restaurant conveniently located right across the street for dinner. The location in Lewes was great. The room was clean and large with a balcony and a great view. Steve and all the staff were friendly and professional. The only drawback was that the pool was under construction during our visit and we weren't aware of that until we arrived for our stay.

My husband and I stayed Memorial Day weekend. I enjoyed everything about hotel blue. The cleanliness, the staff, the quietness and the fact that it’s an adult only hotel. They even have a small happy hour from 3 to 7pm in the lobby. There’s a rooftop pool but it wasn’t open yet. I would definitely book another stay.

This hotel was perfect for our long weekend away to cekebrate our anniversary. The room was beautiful with a fantastic layout and lots of room. A balcony with 2 chairs. And a bathroom with both a shower and separate tub and double sink. The little details made it special: a bottle of champagne welcome; a free wine happy hour in the lobby: an infrared sauna on the top floor; great personalized service at the front desk; live potted plant in the room; great coffe machine and tea selection and it is walkable to Lewes beaches and downtown (less than 1/2 a mile to the beach and 2 blocks to town). If we come back to Lewes- this is our go to place!

We love Hotel Blue. The only reason for the 4 star review rather than 5 is that the pool was closed due to maintenance issues and we had not been made aware of that at the time of booking and I was very disappointed not to be able to use the pool. Everything else was wonderful. Friendly staff, clean accommodations, and complimentary wine in the lobby.

Hotel Blue is a wonderful gem located a 2 minute stroll from town and very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Roof deck is a great place to relax or dip in the (small) pool. Happy hour wine on Fridays and Saturdays was a welcome addition to the services.

The quaintness of the hotel cannot be beaten. My one and only complaint is the elevator was broken on checkout day which was inconvenient. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Lovely hotel easy walking distance from downtown Lewes. Rooms were spacious. Bathroom was immaculate and lit by blue lights when overhead light was off: very pretty. Delicious cappuccino maker in lobby. Only downside were the carpets in our room which need to be replaced because of stains. Would stay there again.

Cute hotel with very friend service but very uncomfortable bed and pillows, I didn’t sleep at all for 2 days.The bathroom had no exhaust fan. The pool was tiny and the water looked dirty. The location was convenient for walking but not pretty.

We’ve stayed many times and we have always been happy. The only issue this time was a weird sewer smell in our room that wouldn’t go away even with purifier on 24/7. Another small and annoying issue was the lack of WiFi. We had to walk into the lobby numerous times to reconnect after being booted off. Very odd. We shouldn’t need WiFi on vacation though so that’s on me. Ha. It did make me pause and relax a bit without being connected. Was actually nice but could be annoying if you needed to work.

We stayed in mid-April in a premium suite. Loved that the unit had alot of light due to multiple windows. Enjoyed the patio which faced the back where we could we had a view the marsh. Great location to restuarants, beach and the terminal. Complimentary coffee, tea was good. The only issue we had was the TV in bedroom was not working correctly. Since we enjoy watching TV before going to sleep it was not a positive thing but Hotel Blue made things right. We felt like they provided good customer service. I would return!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Blue. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, shopping and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our spacious, comfortable suite had a living area with a fireplace, a separate double-door enclosed bedroom, a large bathroom (shower, soaking tub and water closet), and a small balcony. We also took advantage of the small rooftop pool. We loved the cool, modern vibe of the decor! It met our definition of perfect boutique hotel. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful, artistic hotel. A nice diversion from typical hotels. Staff was friendly. Missing, however was conveniences like available beverages other than the coffee machine in the lobby. The snack machine was empty. It was strange that no overnight staff was present. We were the only guests in the hotel.

First, I have to give a shout-out to Jackie, who stayed a few minutes beyond her quitting time to get us checked in. The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are spacious. The only beef I have is that there is a limited window for check-in and that made things a little difficult for us to get our workdays in and travel to Lewes on a Friday evening.

Large, comfortable suite, with large bathroom, balcony, minifridge, and microwave. Sooooo easy to walk five minutes across the bridge to restaurants, coffee, shopping, etc, in the heart of Lewes. Easy parking. All very easy.

Wonderful location! We walked to restaurants, a bookstore and a puzzles store. We also walked to Savannah Beach. The room was immaculate and quiet.

The Hotel Blue is perfectly located in downtown Lewes for shopping and restaurants but close to the beaches. The suites are clean and very roomy. It was our home away from home. The staff were friendly and helpful. We look foward to staying there again.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise – we absolutely loved our stay! We arrived later in the evening and were warmly welcomed, which set a great tone right away. The happy hour with a glass of wine was a lovely touch. We were in town for a wedding and found the location perfect. The rooms were very clean and had a cozy, intimate feel. I especially loved the soft blue lighting throughout the hotel – it created such a relaxing atmosphere. The fireplace in our room added a warm, inviting touch as well. The only downside was that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and a full-size mattress would’ve been nicer if it were a bit larger. However, the pillows were great! The rooftop pool offered a beautiful view of the town and was very clean. We were able to walk to beach, & the town for breakfast, and there was a restaurant conveniently located right across the street for dinner. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be staying here again!

What a gem of a hotel! In the perfect location to walk to area restaurants and shops and avoid paying to park ! Fun, cozy decor throughout the hotel makes for a comfortable experience. The free coffee in the morning is made by operating an Italian coffee machine that dispenses the best coffee and the free afternoon happy hour wine is an added bonus. The staff is polite and friendly and full of suggestions when asked for recommendations. This is not your run of the mill hotel . It’s a beautiful little place in a quiet setting and you’re able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes easily. Avoid the chain hotels and treat yourself to weekend or longer here. You won’t be disappointed.

This hotel was perfect for our long weekend away to cekebrate our anniversary. The room was beautiful with a fantastic layout and lots of room. A balcony with 2 chairs. And a bathroom with both a shower and separate tub and double sink. The little details made it special: a bottle of champagne welcome; a free wine happy hour in the lobby: an infrared sauna on the top floor; great personalized service at the front desk; live potted plant in the room; great coffe machine and tea selection and it is walkable to Lewes beaches and downtown (less than 1/2 a mile to the beach and 2 blocks to town). If we come back to Lewes- this is our go to place!

Loved the location, coffee set up, rooftop pool. Friendly staff, easy parking, nice robes and bed was comfortable. Appreciated the quiet too. Our balcony overlooked an empty lot that had some trash (mainly black plastic bags). Next time will request room with channel view. Would be great if there were wine glasses in room. Otherwise, very pleasant stay.

Hotel Blue is a wonderful gem located a 2 minute stroll from town and very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Roof deck is a great place to relax or dip in the (small) pool. Happy hour wine on Fridays and Saturdays was a welcome addition to the services.

Beautiful, artistic hotel. A nice diversion from typical hotels. Staff was friendly. Missing, however was conveniences like available beverages other than the coffee machine in the lobby. The snack machine was empty. It was strange that no overnight staff was present. We were the only guests in the hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay! The lobby is beautiful but that coffee machine is NOT user friendly!! The front desk and other staff were very kind! Our room was very comfortable and pretty! We loved all the special touches, like the floor tile in the bathroom, the sinks, the bathrobes, the balcony and comfy chairs, the coffee maker and fridge came in handy too! The ned and linens were very coozy and hey that pool and floats, and flowers, just heavenly! I did try the sauna too and it was excellent! We hope to be back soon for another long weekend! Love Lewes and the bike path to Rehoboth....we had a ball and ate and drank like kings!!
